+ -1 moreI was new to the area, and I needed to find someone to maintain my furnace and humidifier. Based on EVERYONE I talked to, I called Jeff, and I was not disappointed. He did what needed to be done, explained everything I needed to know, and didn't try to sell me things I didn't need. Besides all that, he was a really nice guy. I will definitely hire him again!

Description of Work: I call Jeff from Huntley Heating for all of my needs related to A/C, Furnace, and Water Heater for both my own home, and my rental property townhome. He is punctual, courteous, and friendly, and regularly shares tips on maintenance and other little tricks to help keep me from having to call him too often to fix something. I recommend him without reservation for any maintenance or repair work that you need done.

Description of Work: We had a three season sunroom built on our home. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to make it a four season room by having the duct work necessary to supply the room with heating in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. We contacted Jeff Bala at Huntley Heating and Air Conditioning who came out and provided us with an estimate of costs and a full explanation of what work would be provided. A date and time was set for the installation of the duct work and a booster fan. Mr. Bala arrived at precisely the arranged time and promptly got to work. In less than three hours the job was completed and cleaned up. Mr. Bala even helped us by hanging a large clock on the wall where the supply register had been placed. We can not say enough good things about Huntley Heating and Mr. Bala. Their work was perfect and the price was great. What more could a customer want? I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for any type of services associated with heating and air conditioning. We will be using this company with all our future needs.

Description of Work: Our furnace went out during the night of Jan 2, 2014 & we woke up to a very cold home. I called Jeff, the owner of Huntley Heating, & explained that we had no heat. Even though he was busy with other service calls, he was able to get to us in about an hour. Jeff quickly determined that the furnace circuit board had failed, but he had the part on his truck & had the furnace working again in about 30 minutes. I have used Huntley Heating before to install a humidifier & a high efficiency air filter & was very satisfied with Jeff's knowledge, work, & fair pricing.

+ -1 moreEven though we were pleased with Jeff's previous work (repaired our power humidifier) we decided to seek estimates from three other companies to compare with his estimate (which he provided within a few hours of our initial contact). Two of the other companies never bothered to call back. One provided a $1,700 estimate for a comparable unit. Obviously Jeff got the job. The installation was completed one week later as promised. He arrived on time, completed the work in about three hours and left a clean work area. The work involved hanging the unit from the ceiling, connecting gas pipe, connecting the electrical supply, installing the chimney, installing a thermostat, testing the unit and relighting pilot lights in the water heater and fireplace.
Description of Work: Jeff provided and installed a 30,000 BTU gas forced air heater in our garage.

+ -1 moreI called four HVAC contractors and Huntley Heating had the best price and took the time to answer all my questions over the phone. Jeff arrived on time and did a great job installing the humidifier (Aprilaire 600). I also had Huntley Heating install a custom 5" air cleaner for $350 that uses off the shelf Honeywell filters. The job was completed quickly and the sheet metal work is very good.
