They came on time and did what they said they will do. They charged us the amount that they said they would. We would use them again. They were professional and courteous.

We signed a contract with Joe to perform a total full bathroom remodel within a set 2 week period, meaning the current bathroom tiled floor, vanity, vanity top, accessories, all wood trim, ceramic tub walls and fixtures were all removed and totally replaced in 10 business days!!!! This was a 9 X 6 bathroom that looked like it needed to be replaced and it was old looking. Joe replaced a bowed out wall with new cement board as well as the floor and tub walls with cement board. He then tiled the tub area with a 2 x 2 ceramic tile with a boarder consisting of a marble chair-rail and a 3 inch border of rough rocks. What a unique look!!! He then carried the border outside the tub to the other walls in the bathroom. He then installed a porcelain 12 x 12 tiled floor. That was followed by installing floor to ceiling tile using 9X14 ceramic granite looking tiles. He then installed all new plumbing fixtures, toilet and a 48" vanity and top. He installed matching hardware on the bathroom door and then painted the ceiling and the skylight enclosure. He finished by sealing all of the material and put up a dreamline frameless shower door. This is a bathroom you would find in a magazine highlighting bathrooms. It is absolutely breathtaking!!! All of this work done at a fair price by a great person. Joe is a guy you wish you could find to do all of your remodel, repair and handyman work. He is the best craftsman I have ever dealt with and his integrity, DAILY clean-up, and will to satisfy a customer makes him #1...... Thanks Joe.

Installed a shower pan, waterproofed the pan, did all roughin plumbing, attached new valves, put up dry wall and used mesh on seams with sealant. installed a floor to ceiling plan consisting of ceramic, glass mosaics, marble and granite. Very detailed work and Joe made some significant recommendations which we followed. He then installed a shower panel, and a ceiling rain fixture to complete the job.

Very responsive to messages, returned calls and arrived when promised. Joe came out Saturday morning, looked at the work area and quoted $150 for job of Removing a pedestal sink and installing a new vanity cabinet, sink top and faucet. We were to provide the drain assembly. The quote was a bit higher than we expected, as other providers had 2 hrs for $79 deals or intall a sink for $90 offers. I contacted Joe and explained, he then agreed to complete for $100 plus materials if he was able to complete in one hour with no complications. Joe completed the work Monday morning to our satisfaction, left some dust on floor we had to clean up but fit us in between other appointments so not a big deal. Total cost was $128 including flex hoses and drain assembly for sink, he completed in an hour. Finished product looks good, and no issues to date! WIll contact Joe for other jobs we'd like completed.

Went well. Joe came out and examined my home on very short notice. He found that there were no repairs that needed to be made, charged me nothing for his service call, and left. Nice Guy. Very professional. I'd use him again.

I called him from Los Angeles and worked with him on phone. He was very responsive. Within 4 hours, he came to my mothers house to install kitchen faucet and sink. He spent longer than usual as there were other under sink issues to deal with such as valves, hoses, etc. He told me that he had a doctor's appt at certain time, that I would call him once my mother bought the faucet. He right away gathered tools and supplies needed and was at her house within hour after I called According to my mother and sister, job was done well, and both felt that this is the end to their constant kitchen sink problem. The existing composite deck was extended with a new deck on each end. The new decks were 12' by 8' and 7' by 8' each consisting of a treated lumber substructure supporting composite decking and trim boards. Each of the new decks was attached to the existing deck via ledger boards with the far end of each deck being supported on concrete columns that were inspected and approved by the city. Joe Sofia, the owner, made several improvements to the overall design of the decks as worked progressed. The $2300 cost included treated lumber, supplies and labor with composite lumber being provided by the home owner.

What can I say but , Joe is great person to work with. I called him up to see if he would be able to install a back up sump pump and reattach a sink and garbage disposal for me. He informed me of the parts I would need and what kind of back up pump to buy. I bought majority of materials. He charged me for the labor, which was a better price than what others wanted to do the job for. He arrived around 9am and was done about noon. He was busy with other jobs but he made time for me to get this job done! One great thing I like is that Joe spends time to explain how something works, and signs to look for if there are any problems. I really like working with Joe and would use him again for any kind of house projects I might have in the future. Thank you Joe!!

Homefixer4u Joe is wonderful. He is a really friendly, down to earth common sense guy. He came over for a consultation first and laid out what he thought should be done. He was on time, reliable, he came on the day that we scheduled. He did a great job with the door. It looks really good and it has quality. We will definitely use him for more projects that are coming up. He is very reliable, very trust worthy, a really nice guy. Takes pride in his work.

Joe answered my first email in less than one day, quoted the project and completed the work quickly and perfectly. He worked the entire day on the deck, never took a break, cleaned the deck when he was done, and even had tarps down on the carpet inside to keep thing clean as he went through the house. Looking forward to when he comes back for the next project we have planned.

We were very pleased with Joe overall. He amazed us with what he was able to do all on his own. He was courteous, clean and efficient. The ceiling looks very nice and we are considering using him for future projects.

He was very like a perfectionist. He was really into quality of work, which was really nice and his prices were definitely competitive. His prices were pretty much the same or a little lower than everyone else. But he was just very meticulous and very knowledgeable of everything that he was doing. He was easy to make an appointment with.

Joe responded to an email I sent knowing we were located a great deal from his home town. I ran out of any local or even semi local options, as no one else was willing to do the work involved. We needed to have our master bath regrouted because the previous grout cracked and was defective. We had used a premixed grout with a poly in it, and so the grout could not be restored. The restoration product would not adhere to this poly blend grout was what other companies had told us. No one wanted to remove the grout and replace it because of how much work was involved and the amount of grout there was. Joe contacted me concerned with the distance he would have to travel. After realizing we were out of other options, and providing him with the measurements and pictures he requested, he agreed to come do the work. He left the work site safe and clean. He worked hard, (I even saw some blood on his fingers). He started when he said and returned when he said. He save us thousands of dollars in a tile redo for our entire master bathroom!

I was calling for quotes to build a bar in my basement. Joe came out the next day. He was running late from a job he was at, and did call me to let me know. Joe came out, and was great to talk with, he provided ideas, and spent time with me. He took measurments and said he would get back to me with a quote in a few days. Which he did, he emailed me a nice letter and a quote and explained what he would do. His price was good and I almost went with him. But I did decided to go with someone else. Nothing against Joe, I'm sure he would of done a great job but I felt the company I went with was a better fit for what I was looking to do. Thank you for your time Joe wish you the best!

Joe did a great job on all three projects. He is thorough, and tends to be a perfectionist (which is a good thing). We were pleased with all of his work and found his pricing to be fair. He even offered to pick up the sink for us at the store and bring it to our house (we ended up picking it up ourselves, but appreciated Joe's willingness). I will definitely be calling Joe again for other projects. I highly recommend him.

Joe did an amazing job. I originally chose Joe to do the work after seeing his consistently high reviews on Angie's List, and not disappointed. We have been not planning a deck for the 5 1/2 years we have been in our home, but never pulled the trigger since we could find a design we liked within the easement in our backyard. We wanted a deck with as much space as possible, but stair placement was an issue that either took away deck space, ran over the easement, or blocked all the windows in our walk out basement.Joe worked with us through multiple designs until we found one we were comfortable with. Once that was done, Joe handled the rest and we watched our deck be created. Joe really treats the projects like his own. The pride he put in building the deck was obvious ... it was not just a job, it was something he wanted to create and demonstrate his skill. Compliments are all positive with how impressed everyone is when they see it. Fantastic quality and great follow up. You should have COMPLETE trust in Joe and be comfortable with him as your only choice to do what ever work is needed. We did, and it paid off well.

We chose Joe Sofia (owner of Homefixer4u) based on his very competitive labor estimate, along with his prior experience on a similar project he had shared with us during our initial meeting. We have nothing but positive comments to share about the entire experience. Joe was everything one looks for in a contractor/handyman: courteous, professional, punctual, and clearly takes pride in his work. He completed the work well within the expected time frame, and we are very pleased with the results. When you look at the 4th bedroom that was converted from the loft, one would think the house was built that way from the start. This is what we were hoping for. I would describe Joe as almost a perfectionist who never seems happy until everything looks perfect. Also, he did 3-4 extra tasks that had nothing to do with the project he was contracted to do: e.g. securing a loose railing to the wall, fixing a cracked baseboard, filling holes and painting over them (elsewhere in the house from the work site). These may seem like little things, but to me they illustrate his willingness to make his customers happy so that they will call him the next time something needs building or fixing.

Having never done a bathroom remodel before we were somewhat wary and didn't know where to begin with planning the details. Joe was extremely helpful and struck a great balance between understanding our needs and offering expert suggestions. At every point he offered both creative and cost-saving advice so that our unexpected project didn't blow our budget while still being something we'd be proud of. Once work began, Joe wasted no time getting started removing all material and cleaning up as he went. His work ethic is terffic so that is wasn't uncommon for him to work 10 or 12 hours straight on the project. I never saw him take a lunch or dinner break. As the work progressed, he was great about giving us regular updates on the progress and never seemed to mind us looking over his shoulder, asking questions or suggesting changes. If issues arose, Joe would explain things clearly and offer us clear choices that always left us feeling in control of costs and the end results. More than once, Joe ate the cost of materials when he (not us) was dissatisfied with how they fit into the project. Throughout the project, Joe inspired our confidence with his knowledge and enthusiasm. At times it almost felt like this was his own pet project and he was always looking for ways to make the results more durable, more maintainable, and more aesthetic without adding any to our costs. We are very pleased with the results which, thanks to Joe's eye for detail and craftsmanship, turned our hasty and quot;fix upand quot; project into a wonderfully functional showpiece in our home. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Joe to anyone needing truly professional, quality work done.

Joe was available on the day I contacted him and he arrived promptly. He initially estimated it would take two hours to do the work. On site, he recognized the installation would be more complicated than initially though because of the shape of the wells, the size and shape of the covers and problems with the supplied installation hardware. He was able to devise an effective solution and get the installation completed, including trimming the covers to conform to the wells' shape. It was a job I could not have done myself. I thought the $200 fee for the 3-4 hours of work involved was worth the price.

I paid in advance (my choice) and he came out the next day and fixed it.
