The job went well; Steve is easy to talk to and very professional; installed two ceiling fans, and added speed controls to both fans and dimmer switches to the lights - he was able to get the necessary parts quickly - no delays once he committed to doing the job. The time between speaking with Steve and getting the job done was very quick; he was on time - the entire project was complete in about 3 hours (not bad considering he had to go into the attic :-) He's been in the business for 20+ years and discussed the steps to accomplish the install; He was kind enough to let me watch and assist (something I value as a home owner). We were very pleased with Bentz Electric and would definitely use him again!

Great work. Steve was awesome. The day I contacted him we were scrambling to find someone who get get started asap (we had decided to do this work last minute before the back splash was installed). He was able to come out same day and give me a quote, came back 2 days later to install everything. Lighting looks great! I really appreciated the fact that we had some other work going on (some guys were laying tile) they were breaking tiles that needed to be replaced and Steve took the time to let me know what was going on and ask if that was what they were there to do since neither I nor my husband were home. I would definitely call Steve for any future electrical work!

I called Steve the owner for price and appointment. He explained what would be involved and offered to do a dimmer as well for an extra 30.00-which was a great idea. He was able to schedule in 2 days notice. He came out on a Saturday to install the rope lights. The insulation in the wall was so thick and placement of the some of the boxes in the wall prevented an easy looping to the outlet-a real struggle for one person. He came back on Wednesday with another electrician and they worked as a team to fish the wiring through. This situation worked great because it enable me to call another vendor to come in and tend to some plumbing issues. The lights look great. I had purchased them in November 2013 and my better half just never got around to the project. I appreciate that Steve did not take "shortcuts." He worked tirelessly to do a professional installation. The lights are LED and have slight blue-like tint. He said if I don't like it, we can switch them out-an easy fix. He also replaced the switch for the garbage disposal which was "iffy" at no additional charge. He also cleaned up after himself and gave me some tips on some lighting/different bulbs for the track lighting in the kitchen. I shared the experience with my better half and he said: "they did it RIGHT!. I never would have been able to do it that efficiently."

Steve and his partner performed an excellent service in our home. They assembled and installed the chandelier and changed to a dimmer switch within the quoted time and cost. Highly Recommend!!!

Steve was punctual, professional and very knowledgeable. He explained everything he was going to do and showed me what he was doing along the way.

He was easy to reach on the phone and arrived at the appointment on time. He was polite and professional and offered some ideas and advice that were helpful to me. He installed the fixture in an hour. Excellent service. This is the third time he has performed work at my house.

After calling another company claiming to have 24 hour service, which I found had no one scheduled to work Tuesday or Wednesday, I called Steve. What a pleasure to find him not only working, but working with a smile! He had my problem diagnosed and corrected in no time, and at an hourly rate comparable to other services on Angie's List.....and on a Holiday no less! A GREAT company to do business with.

Steve showed up promptly everyday as promised. Worked hard and worked with me to ensure that everything would meet my needs. He made suggestions, listened to my questions, and more importantly provided solutions to any of my concerns. He was straight forward, with no surprises during the project. It is clear he knew what he was doing, what the codes required, and what will work to ensure the best possible result.

Arrived on time, initial assessment and estimate was thorough, all options were talked through. Steven was friendly and professional, and work was completed in the allotted time. I was very pleased with all work done and would definitely hire Bentz Electric again.

He quickly figured out the problem with my light fixture and explained to me what needed to be done to correct the problem. He immediately got it repaired and told me to contact him if I had problems with the light after he left. He offered an alternative procedure if the chandelier did not continue to work.

We would give Steve an A++. He was knowledgeable, fast, friendly, efficient and very reasonably priced. If we weren't moving, Steve would be our go-to guy for all of our electrical work. Hope we find another Steve in our new location.

Steve showed up and did the job in two days. The electrical works fine now and I can use the vacuum or rug cleaner in the living room without tripping the breaker. The hot tub was also disconnected and someone else was able to come take it away. The outdoor lights really help with the dog in the backyard and look nice on the house. B's for price and professionalism were given for the following reasons: He talked to me about how there were two different sockets within 3 feet of one another and asked if Ii wanted to keep both or kill the one. I asked that the one be killed. I found (about a month later when i was plugging in the christmas tree) that this socket was never killed. The plaster around 2 of the sockets that were replaced was badly damaged (large chunks missing). I said I didn't care about the wall paper (as I am planning on changing it eventually), but I didn't consider that a green flag to not be careful with the underlaying plaster. There were little chunks of wire I found around the perimeter of the room and in the basement under the living room and near the breaker box. I would have appreciated these to be cleaned up a little more thoughly. My dog isn't the brightest and she could have decided to eat these before I got to them. (It sounds silly, but dogs eat crazy things sometimes).

We have used Bentz before. Steve is very easy to work with which is not always the case with tradesman. He's responsive via e-mail and phone. He seems highly capable and professional in his field having worked on all types of electrical projects from small to large. He's my guy until proven otherwise.

Steve returned our initial call the same day and then dropped by an hour later to see what the project would entail. An estimate for the project arrived on Monday (just when he said it would). The work was completed the following Thursday. He was very thorough and efficient. We highly recommend Bentz Electric.

They were fantastic. He is now our go to electrician. He is a great guy, a straight shooter. We have recommended him to a couple others. The generator is working well. He is very cautious and if he finds any other problems in the home, he makes sure to let you know about them and give a good explanation as to the pros and cons of having any repairs done. He found a switch problem in my panel that I never would have known about had he not mentioned it. He just does a great job.

This is our second time using Steve and we are fortunate to have found a knowledgeable, affordable and customer-service oriented electrician. Steve is a good guy as well. All went well in a timely manner. Steve is also very good about responding via phone and e-mail. He also told us that he recently become an exclusive installer rep for a U.S. based LED light company and is getting involved in transitioning people from incandescent and halogen to this new long-term money saving and friendlier mode of lighting. This type of lighting is finally beginning to drop in price and is the wave of the future.

From the time I contacted the company till completion, I was very pleased. All work was done extremely professionally, promptly, and thoroughly. I particularly appreciated the responsiveness of the company - emails were responded to immediately and the work was done when they said it would be done! All work was explained to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs any electrical work done.

Very well. Steve was friendly, informative and professional. After about an hour and a half, he determined that this was probably an isolated incident, or that a fly or spider might have landed on a light. Like the Fire Department, he could not find any obvious problem and he was very familiar with the lighting system installed and told me it was very high quality for an aftermarket installation. He was confident that all would be OK so we reingaged this complex system and there have been no issues since that lone incident. Steve recommended that perhaps one can / transformer system might have shorted and if I so desire, it could be replaced. We decided to only replace the bult and wait and see. No problems since.
