It started with the inspection of the general manager Greg Bowen. He was punctual and very professional. The proposal was specific and detailed. His employees were extremely courteous and professional. The area was kept very clean and they completed their work the same day. Lastly, communication with Greg was timely throughout the whole process. I would recommend Alliance to anyone.

The scheduling was outstanding. They arrived exactly on time at 7am. Came back to pick up equipment as promised. My handyman said everything looked great in attic. Received a thank you letter 2 days later with paid receipt. Company is very detailed and cares about workmanship. Would highly recommend.

Alliance was professional and timely in both scheduling and on-site work, despite a few structural surprises (from the previous owners). When the Alliance crew started cleaning the attic vents covers, they realized that not only was insulation blown over the attic vents, but they had been boarded up as well (probably by the insulation company). They cut out each of the 15 vents by hand and then cleaned the covers. After the attic was cleaned inside, the attic fan was replaced as well. The basement was cleaned where some water had seeped in behind the drywall. They actually increased the scope of the remediation under the same contact and did not charge us extra for this. Both the attic and basement were completed in a couple of days. We did have another company test for mold and compare to an outside sample. The attic passed on the first try, while the basement needed more work due to the sump pump. Alliance came out again and HEPA vacuumed and re-treated the sump pump and surrounding wall and floor areas. The second round of testing showed that the mold levels were below the outside mold levels. We were very happy with their commitment to this job, and the final results.

He answered all of my questions and suggested what to try before he came out to inspect. His suggestions worked.

Things went great. When I discovered that we had a mold problem in the attic I gave them a call and they promptly came over and evaluated our situation. They recommended that we have the mold remediated and directed us to other professionals to help make sure that everything was vented properly in the long term (our attic is quirky and not easy to properly vent). The first time they came out to remediate they were unable to do the work because there was frost on the underside of the roof, so they came out another day and got the job done. They did it all while we were at work and left their air scrubber for a few days to make sure that everything was cleaned up. The level of inconvenience for us was very minimal. What impressed me the most was how hard they worked with other contractors to help correct our venting issues. They seemed intent on making sure that everything was done right so that we wouldn't have problems in the future.

I didn't use them because they felt it was a small thing. The water was not leaking from somewhere. The guy was really honest with me, and he said that it is a really small job, and he told me how to do it myself. He told me he would charge me 100s of Dollars while I could do it myself. That was refreshing. They were excellent, very professional, and didn't try to swindle me.

I hired the Alliance Restoration to remove the damaged drywall in my bedroom, bathroom and laundry room due to roof leaks and bad roof repair by my association. Prior to the repair personnel starting the work, it was such a great pleasure working with Heather in the office to get all the paper work taken care of. She was so professional, prompt, fair and awesome that I have honestly met few people like her in customer service. She took care of all my needs and responded fairly and honestly with all the documentation that I was requesting. The day of service, two gentlemen arrived promptly and started their work. I hired them because I did not want to spread the dust of the job to the rest of my home due to asthma in my family. They contained the three areas very nicely and collected and cleaned all the drywall before they left. The job was done clean and there were no dust in the rest of the house due to them containing the areas were they had worked. I was also concerned with mold forming under the ceiling due to frequent rains we had but they couldn't find any which was the other good news. I would recommend them to everyone. Although the price was just a bit higher, they kindly matched it with another contractor's price. Considering the service I received from beginning to the end, I would definitely use their service over anyone else.

We first had a company come in to test for mold after the April 2013 flooding. When the test results came back positive in our lower level which is all living space (raised ranch), we called Mega Pros to do the mold remediation. Mega put us in touch with Alliance Restoration and Greg met with my husband at our home to estimate the work, with which we went forward. Also, my husband was impressed with Greg and his professionalism. The crew, all of who were extremely professional and polite, removed the drywall (exterior walls lower section approx. 4 ft. and interior walls approximately 2 ft) as suggested by the mold testing company. After the drywall removal, they found cracks in the foundation walls (which we were not aware of) and were able to fix them for an additional charge, which we approved. The crew was very careful to seal off the space so once they started the remediation, no mold spores would travel throughout the house. The A/C was turned off and all vents in the remediation space were closed and covered for this reason also. They set up air scrubbers to run during and for the 48 hours after the remediation. All exposed studs and foundation were mechanically agitated and HEPA vacuumed, plus an EPA registered sanitizer was applied to same. However, prior to Alliance Restoration applying that sanitizer, we had another mold test done and test results came back negative - mold gone! I might add that the mold testing was done by a company completely apart from Alliance Restoration. And Heather who handles the Alliance Restoration office is a gem, returning all calls promptly and courteously. We would have no problem recommending Alliance Restoration.

The sheathing in the attic was badly discolored so we just assumed it was mold and contacted Alliance Restoration for an estimate for removal. The estimate was reasonable and listed in detail all the work to be done. We were selling our house and Heather was able to get us in the schedule within a week. The technicians were prompt and neat and professional. The buyer actually inspected the attic when the work was completed and was pleased with the results.

The company came out and assessed the mold issue and sent a quote within 2 days. Followed up with a call to see I had any questions.

I was with him on the phone for at least 10 minutes. He did tell me this wasn't his particular specialty but I really appreciated his honesty. He gave me at least 3 or 4 referrals for specialists who could assist me. The referrals he gave were great! I can't say enough about him!

The provider's office is very easy to deal with, responsive and professional. The estimator was as well. The actual job was fine, one of the workers stepped through the roof, they fixed it, unfortunately I do have some nails that are now sticking through places in the ceiling because of them being up there. The whole mold treatment business is interesting in that they treat mold, make some suggestions (far from concrete) on how to prevent it developing in the future (they don't do that work) and the give you a card of a company to call to make those changes. For that, it costs $3400 for an average sized attic. I will say that now the attic is immaculate and so the main thing is this company is reputable and the price is average.

Alliance Restoration came out on a Wednesday to assess the problem. Within four hours of the meeting, we received a quote from Alliance with a step by step plan as to what they were planning to do to resolve the mold. We immediately signed the paperwork and work started two days later. The three workers that were onsite for the remediation were professional and courteous. We had volunteers working in the upstairs of the house during the remediation and the Alliance employees were considerate in working around them. We had asked that the mold issue be resolved within 10 days so that we could begin drywalling on schedule. Greg assured us that this would be the case. Alliance finished two days ahead of schedule, a significant accomplishment considering the number of businesses and homes in our area who had been impacted by the same major storm as us and the coordination that it must have taken to get our house done. Most significant of all was the fact that Alliance Restoration provided all of the labor and material at no charge to Habitat for Humanity.

Super professional. They were the only company that provided a detailed estimate of work to be performed based on statement of work from our insurance company. They worked directly with our insurance company from start to finish. Between the two, we felt well taken care of and confident that job was well done in timely manner.

They did a very good job and just took care of the problem. They came when they said they were going to and finished when they said they were going to finish. Their price was competitive.

They were extremely helpful and went out of their way to help me out - Heather was fantastic! They were very professional in their approach, responsive, and fair in their pricing. When other basement services were gouging victims of the recent Chicago flooding, they folks were very fair and responsive. I strongly recommend them.

They were on time. I felt confident in their ability to correct the problem.

A recent home inspection showed some potential issues with mold in the attic. I called Alliance with some questions about mold, how to test for it, remediation options and possibly to get someone to come out and give an estimate.Within 2 hours of leaving a message, Paul called me back. He spent 15 minutes on the phone with me explaining how they work, what IEPs do and how to go about getting a test done.Since I am the potential buyer of the house, he also had some ideas on what to look for from any IEP services that I may be requesting the seller to pay for. Paul was professional, courteous and spent time explaining things to me even though I did not ask them to come over for an estimate. A very good initial experience. I will definitely be contacting him for followups if I decide to pursue this home purchase.

As stated above, they came out when promised, inspected the job, informed me of what other work needed to be done in conjunction with their work (roof vent replacement, whole house fan thermostat repair, air clearance testing) as well as provided a quote that explained exactly what was to be done, what equipment and products were involved in doing the work, how the surrounding environment would be protected from contamination while the work was in progress to ensure that not only did I, the current home owner understand but also that the buyer would be comfortable with how and what was being done to correct the situation. Although the prospective buyers had never mentioned walking away from the purchase because of the mold, they were obviously very vested in having it corrected and it really put my mind at ease that Alliance was so willing to deal with essentially two clients for one job and completely stood by their work. They came in and started the work, were clean, professional, and courteous. The day they were supposed to come remove the air scrubber machine that had to run in the attic for 48 hours after the work was completed a large snow storm was forcasted. If the snow came as forcasted, work would have been difficult. They called and asked if the work could be postponed over the weekend. I agreed, figuring it couldn't hurt to have the air scrubber running a couple of more days. I put down a 50% deposit at the signing of the contract and paid the second 50% after the work was completed and the air quality clearance test was performed by an outside provider. The air test before the work was $400 because I had to pay an extra fee to expidite the results so that Alliance could start on the agreed date. That was my fault for not calling the air quality company right away. The fee for the air clearance test after the work was done was another $300. I was impressed by the fact that Alliance recommended the air quality testing, showing confidence in the quality of their work, and an interest in having the customer further assured of the efficacy. The fact that the product used to encapsilate the area after work was completed came with a certicate for a 10 year warranty was also a plus.

It was an extremely positive response. They were professional and responsive. They were generous with their time and their feedback. It was a dynamic experience. They responded well to our queries and worked with us to give something as wonderful as possible. Their price was fair. I would use them in the future.

The overall experience was good, however the cost was quite high (almost $20,000). Some of the equipment they brought had mice in them which created another problem in our basement.

I would hire this company again without reservation.

They were phenomenal and outstanding. I would recommend them. They are good people and they are honest. They were attentive and responsive; it was a difficult situation for me and they made it much easier. They did what they said they were going to do and worked hard. I haven’t had a problem since; they guarantee their work. This issue happened over the holidays and they didn’t charge me overtime. They were very good about setting up a payment plan with me and informing me of everything they were going to do throughout the process. I am very grateful for them and the work they did.
