Kirk was very responsive, punctual and courteous. He replaced an old, rotting door into my garage and did so faster and for less than his original estimate. I will definitely contact him again for small jobs around the house.

Originally called him the week before on a Friday to set-up appointment but he wasn't sure when he would be available and stated it would be sometime the following week and would give me a call. He called on Monday, June 2nd and said he could come out that day. I was surprised he was available that soon. He came out on time and took a look inside the toilet which had problems with the water not rising back up. He had to replace a part in the toilet that had warn off and it took no longer than 45 minutes including having to drive to Home Depot for the part down the street. The price was very reasonable. Overall, I was very happy and satisfied with the service.

Kirk was not able to perform work requested. However, he referred a local plumber without hesitation. Moreover, I was very pleased with the referral.

He said that the insulation job that I was also going to have him do was too big for him but he is great. I absolutely adore him. His pricing is low and exceptionally reasonable. I dislike that he works alone because then he cannot do the job that I wanted done now but that is his call. I get it. Sometimes I also wish I work alone. As a man, he is very professional and very straightforward. He does good work, shows up when he says that he is going to show up and cleans up after himself.

Kirk was always on time and very courteous. He came the first time to fix the toilet and doorbell and always explained what needed to be done. A week later, the doorbell still wasn't working so he came back out on Saturday and called to let me know what time he would be there. He took a look at the issue with the doorbell and stated it was the transformer. He replaced what needed to be done and the doorbell was finally working I will definitely use his services again. If there's something that needs to be done that he can't do, he will give you a referral to someone who can. You can leave messages on his voicemail and he will get back to you at least the same day. If you need little things to be fixed around the house and you live in the south suburbs, Kirk is the person to call. Very nice guy who seems to know what he's doing. The prices are also reasonable. He accepts only cash and/or checks.

Kirk is amazing. He's done everything at our house, from putting in new light fixtures to ripping out an old, dilapidated fence, to overseeing and doing most of a small bathroom update. He usually can come over the same day I call and his work is perfect. His referrals are always trustworthy too.

Kirk was prompt, efficient, and his fair. He returned my call in a reasonable time frame, set up and appointment, and completed the job the same day. He remoed two old damaged fence posts, dug holes for two new posts, replaced posts and repaired the crossbars on a very damaged old fence section. He was very hard-working, efficient and professional. He charged $200.00 for labor and worked very h****** a very hot day for about three hours. I will definitely be calling him again!

Kirk was very prompt in returning my initial phone call. At the time, I knew that my fence needed repair, but I couldn't articulate what exactly needed to be done. Kirk was very proactive. He went to my backyard while I was at work, and by the time I got home he had called me with a plan of action and an estimated cost. I told him that he could come the next day to repair and he arrived on schedule. The repair took less than an hour. His price was very reasonable. And the repair has been very successful! Kirk also provided recommendations on plumbing and electrical technicians. I would absolutely recommend him and use his services again.

Mr. Powers arrived on time as scheduled and completed the job in less then an hour. He is knowledgeable, efficient and pleasant. Very happy with his work and price, we will definitely use his services again soon.

We have hired him several times throughout the last ten years. For larger jobs, it can be a little price, but the quality is worth it. He is quick to jobs large and small and he does good quality of work. We are happy with his work.

I called Kirk because I like to keep my money local. He returned the call promptly and we arranged a day and time convenient for both of us. I had originally wanted him for just one job but he was able to accomplish other small tasks that had been bugging me for months. He was polite and knowledgeable, and I would certainly use him again.

Kirk is always prompt, professional and cheerful. He did a great job and it didn't take long. He even cleaned up some lime deposits from around the edges of the old faucet that showed when the the new faucet was in place.

We tried Kirk about 3 years ago and we love his work and his pricing is pretty fair( usually) that we keep using him for various projects for our home and our 2 businesses. Kirk is our handyman. If he can't do it, he won't attempt to do it and give you the name of someone else who can. He's done a bunch of stuff for me though, whatever he can do he will do but he will not try if he can't. He works all by himself so he doesn't take on big jobs. It's very good work.

It was a great experience, I recommend him. The workmanship was very good. If there was something wrong he would come back and fix it. I have used him for a about 4 to 5 years.

My wood privacy fence was leaning. I thought the post was rotted and needed to be replaced. Mr. Powers gave me a quote for this scenario but then lowered it because it turns out the post was fine. The tree roots had just dislodged the post. Mr Powers put the post back in place and charged me the amount appropriate for the work completed. I would happily use this company again and would recommend him to anyone else needing work that he may be capable of.

He recommended a plumber, who came the same day that I called and did an excellent job. This plumber praised the work that Kirk has done for other people, and I have other work that I will ask Mr. Kirk to do that is within his range of services.

Called Kirk Powers and left msg. Rec'd call either the same day or the next day. Kirk came right over and recommended another contractor (Fencemaster). As a courtesy to me Kirk wrote a 'guestimate' for repairs as he only works on wooden fences. My fence is a chain link fence. The estimate was used to gain a monetary reduction in my billing from the foundation repair company (PermaSeal).

Kirk is efficient, trustworthy and polite. Very knowledgeable and always goes over options with you to confirm he understands what you want.
