Description of Work: Needed a small repair done on my parent's home that I am selling. Called Ray an arranged a convenient time for both of us. He called to confirm that day. showed up on time. Completed the repair quickly and serviced the squeak that he heard. Very impressed with how pleasant, kind and professional he was. Would HIGHLY recommend and use again if the need arises.

Description of Work: Ray Jr. was at my house within two hours of my call to them, as I had told them that one of my cars was stuck inside the garage. He replaced the single spring on the garage door with a double and replaced the cables as well. He was very professional and finished in about an hour.

Description of Work: Ray's Overhead door came out sometime in Feb.(not sure of exact date). He said my garage door opener needed replacement and said he would be out the next day to do the job and that he would call before he came out.

+ -1 moreInitially called & set up an appointment for Ray's Overhead Door to come to the house on 8/1/2012 between 10:00-11:00 a.m. On Thursday, 8/1/2013, no Ray Jr. or phone call, so I called him at 11:00 & he sounded like he didn't know anything about the appointment. Ray Jr. arrived at 12:30 pm & after checking on the keypad, I decided I wanted a new one installed. He said he didn't have one in the truck so we scheduled for him to come back the following Monday 8/5/2013 at 10:00 a.m. & he confirmed he would call me first. On Monday 8/5/2013, I called Ray Jr. at 9:30 am to verify my appointment at 10:00 am. He told me he hadn't gotten the new keypad yet & wanted to set up another appointment. I told him NO, I can't do business with someone that forgets TWO TIMES and I shouldn't have to be chasing him. Both times when I called him & identified myself, he responded as if he didn't know me let alone missing the scheduled appointments. If any excuse was legitimate, at the very least, I should have been given a call. Instead, I had to call him twice. I'd like to support local businesses who care & provide good customer service. Ray's Overhead Door is not one of them.
Description of Work: I wanted to replace the garage door keypad. I did not have him do the job due to his unreliability to keep his appointments.

After arriving he immediately got to work, explaining everything as he moved along. It was obvious that he knew exactly what he was doing. The cost was very reasonable. We were very happy with their service.
