Brighten Up Electric

Would not recommend this company. Hired them to install a new chandelier and once they arrived I asked if they could install an outlet, which I now regret. Extremely sloppy job. Asked for a standard two plug outlet and got a 4 plug poorly installed outlet that doesn't cover the hole completely. After it was done I was told "I threw in two extra outlets but I'll just charge you for the 2." It seems the guys made the hole too big and then added an extra outlet to try and cover the hole. I wish I could attach pictures to this review so others can visually see what I'm referring to. Extremely upset about this. Also the guys were very reckless and showed no respect to my home (i.e. Dragging things across wood floors, no shoe covers, etc). Also know that they would not accept credit card for payment, said it had to be check. I didn't know that until it was time to pay and was scrambling looking for checkbook that we never use. They also gave me a personal name to make the check out too, not the company name.

They were able to complete one of my wife's Honey Dew projects. It has been 3 weeks since I bought the fixture. They had it installed in 20 minutes and were very reasonable on the job price. I took electric in High School in 1965, it would take me about that long to install the fixture.

The recessed lighting installed in our family room looks great! The lighting was a bit bright for one of our family members after it was installed and they offered us a practical economical solution. With our dimmer switch we have the perfect lighting for everyone. Our electrician was Sammy and he did a great job.

Had to replace a circuit board and wall controls in a Casablanca fan that was mounted in a 18' Great Room ceiling. They had the 20' ladder, were on time and stayed with the project until it was finished and working.
