A touch of green landscaping

I can't say enough fantastic things about my experience with Jimmy N and Touch of Green, He worked within our budget, created 3D images of our ideas, and most impressively he started and finished on time and was in constant contact with me throughout. I'm typically underwhelmed when it comes to these types of services, but Touch of Green really blew me away. The other thing I really appreciated was Jimmy wasn't afraid to give me his ideas without being pushy. He listened to what I wanted, but partnered with me to come up with the best solutions within my budget. I couldn't recommend them enough.

I highly recommend them. I do a lot of my own little things, but they're coming out because I have a big tree I may want them to take and put in something else. I use them for big things. Their pricing is on the higher side, but it is pretty competitive with other companies. You get what you pay for with them. I've got them coming out to check out a few things.

A Touch of Green was a great for the initial offer to the installation. They came out and measured my lawn, gave suggestions and asked questions to make sure they understood what I was looking for. They were able to complete the project in one day, did a great job cleaning up and the yard looks great. I would definitely use again in the future.

We live in an old 100 year old Victorian on a postage stamp lot. And out backyard was an eyesore for years. Jimmy Navratil from Touch of Green came highly recommended by a friend. So after getting 3 separate quotes, and designs from other companies, I felt Jimmy had listened best to our requests and designed a simple and attractive solution. Jimmy created a smart plan to reroute our downspout and sump drainage, and pitch everything away from our foundation/house. Being an old house certain "surprises" came up during demo, and install. Each time Jimmy handled things in stride, listened to my concerns, and either followed my request without overcharging me, or patiently explained to me a better solution. Jimmy also connected us with talented and reasonable subs (carpenter for deck, and fence company) who I was very impressed with. The crew was conscientious, worked very hard and efficiently, and left a clean site at the end of each day. I highly recommend Jimmy, his crew, and Touch of Green.

We worked with James Navratil on two separate occasions. He did a great job of incorporating our ideas and designing our entire backyard, and then updating our front landscaping. Both projects exceeded our expectations. They were friendly, professional, and cleaned up after they were finished.

A guy named Jim Navratil came out and we talked about what I was looking for and within 10 mins he had finished and said he would get back to me with some ideas followed up with a 3D rendering of what it would look like. 7 days went by without hearing from him so I contacted him and after a few attempts he finally said he was behind and would get back to me in 2 days or less. On the 3rd day following our last conversation he never contacted me so I called the office. After this call, I finally did receive a quote for the work but it was very basic without much detail, not to mention it wasn't even what we spoke about. When I asked him why he didn't quote me what we talked about he said that during his quote he realized he was well beyond my budget so he threw in the cheapest solution to make the cost look better. So I have a quote for a cheap solution that is already almost twice my budget and it isn't even what I wanted. We revised the quote a few times to try to get a solution but in the end he told me "If you want it done for that cheap, we are not the right company for you." My budget was $8000.00 for the project but apparently we couldn't come up with a solution to get the project completed. All I was trying to do was get a break down of material cost vs labor cost and he couldn't provide me with the info. I gave this company a D because I had a bad experience with this person but I cannot speak for the company as a whole. Hopefully you will have a better experience than me with A Touch of Green.

Very smooth. Turned out far better than our expectations. This is our second time using them and they have always done fabulous work. From initial landscape design to implementation we were delighted

Nice professional size quality trees and shrubs. They answered all my questions, assisted with selecting best plants for my project. also loaded my vehicle with care. High recommended.

The job was done over two days with a team of 5. Added soil where needed along with grass seed and mulch. They were neat, professional and always asked if we were happy with their work. When we wanted something changed it was no problem They completely cleaned up. We used this company to put in our back yard stone patio. Hence, the great job they did on that was why we called them for additional work.

I've haven't gotten a bill from the last service. I've used them for years and they are pretty good. They are very good at building and designing patios.

They were excellent. They were very professional, neat and tidy. They are very careful not to destroy any fencing or any other part of your yard int he process of planting the trees. We have used them before.
