Description of Work: Well, for this one I totally blame Angie's List!! It's a pretty sweet deal -- FOR THE SERVICE PROVIDER: not only does the business receive money (a cut of the AL "Deal") for basically providing an out-sized estimate (which many businesses otherwise provide free, by the way), but the business also gets the List's stamp of approval (it must be a good deal, if it's on Angie's List, right?). Bottom line? Membership-dues paying subscribers to AL get the Raw Deal. I really expect better from AL, though many have observed that it has in the past few years become a glorified Yellow Pages, similar to the scam perpetrated by the BBB (your company is in good standing as long as you pay their membership fees). God Save the Queen!

Description of Work: Overall inspection found nothing to pursue any further services

Description of Work: Inspected attic for animal & then set a trap. They called a week later to see if an animal had been caught in the trap; there wasn't one. They came back about 2 weeks later to remove the trap. They explained the procedure at the initial inspection and then answered any questions throughout the time period.

Description of Work: We had squirrels in the attic. They put a trap that allowed the animal to exit but not re-enter and then returned to remove the trap and board up the hole. We were very pleased. The technician was knowledgeable about the problem and our problem was resolved almost immediately.

Description of Work: They put rat/mouse bait in the attic and crawl space. Then after a couple of weeks after the mice were gone they sealed around the eaves and openings around the air conditioning (and other gaps around pipe/conduit going into the house). They also put mesh on some vents. Now it's January 2015 and no mice.

Description of Work: Treatment for eliminating mice in attic. First treatment was too late pellets for the mice to consume. Second treatment was to seal outside entries so mice did not reenter and to sanitize the attic. efficient they were. I thought they were very efficient, reliable, and thorough in explaining what needed to be done. They also wanted me to know that Icould contact them if there was any recurrence in the problem.

Considering that the carpenter was actually here only 5 hours for caulking and carpentry, I thought price was about $500 too high. |I can't complain about their work though, as their work was excellent.

Description of Work: Workers were great doing actual job, but estimator not accurate in his project review of rodent problem. His alternative more expensive larger job suggestion, was not part of the problem, as verified by the workers, when on site.

Description of Work: They placed bait for mice and squirrels in two attics and bait for mice in the basement after which they waited several weeks for any critters to vacate either the attics or the basement. The wait was for a duration twice as long as originally stated. When they did return they sealed possible locations where critters may find their way in. The sealing process included placing a heavy galvanized mesh over the openings of approximately 12 vents; sealing the bottoms of locations where wooden siding ended at the points of the concrete foundation and where the siding abutted brick work at several wall locations. Communication was the only problem that we encountered was totally attributed to vendor internal communication failure to do so.

Description of Work: discovered signs of mice in bsmnt - called The Rat Patrol. They found traces of field mice in kitchen also. They sealed around house and at both garage doors to keep the pesky little mice out. they also put down a spray product both in basement and lst floor. They've made two trips to do it all and the job appears to be successfully completed. I believe the price to be on the high side. I would use them again because they solved my problem.
