They have charge a premium and they deliver on that premium. Example - there's was a missed affected spot with the cleaning process called Matt and it was rectified the next day.

 + 0 moreWhile they stated the pillow packs are designed to drive mice outside the house to be exterminated, we did find several mice expired in visible locations in the basement and one upstairs. We do not know if any are in areas not visible or inaccessible. We do not have any means of confirming if the fog actually works but to their credit, we have had no visible signs of mice or additional droppings since completing the initial pillow pack distribution 29July2015 and fog application 07August2015. We declined the $1600 permanent repair quote because they guaranteed no mice for around 4 to 6 months. We are looking at other options to seal interior access points that may be more cost effective.
Description of Work: Provided mice repellant gel packs or pillow packs, allegedly people and pet friendly, throughout access and traffic areas of the house, including enclosed "bunkers" for the garage to ensure our pets did not consume the packs. Sprayed a disinfectant fog allegedly to remove the scent and odor of mice, droppings and other scents that "steer" mice to the house. The provided a summary of all possible access points to our house, claimed our siding was improperly installed and offered to install a mouse-impenetrable seal plate around the house too seal off the siding to concrete frame interface points. Unfortunately they claimed the whole house needed this seal installed at a cost of $1600. We do note this quote involved removal of deck boards to access the siding to frame interface hidden by the back deck. They provided an annual guarantee package (forgot the annual cost, maybe $75 a year) to cover if the seal failed or mice were found after installation.

 + -1 moreThey're really responsive. They have been great with followup. They're totally on top of it. We're still working on it. It's still in progress. He was here a little hour and a half each time. Did I think it was a little high? I guess you could say yes but it just depends on how badly you want to get rid of your mice. I was thankful that somebody was willing to walk down that road with me so that was good. It's A absolutely. All the staff was really helpful, very pleasant, great on followup, always checking in just to make sure the problem was being resolved. It was really good.

 + 0 moreFinally the mice are gone (and the lingering mouse poop!). After at least 7 years of a mouse problem and seemingly a growing one, we bit the bullet and called for help. Matt was professional and crew was on time. I took a point off for quality because about 3 weeks after the metal flashing was done, we found evidence of a mouse in the basement (poop trails). Matt had come over to collect the final payment and he investigate outside and found the point of entry. Apparently, mice were digging under the mulch to get in. In my opinion, that should have been taken care of 3 weeks ago as it is known that mice can dig into mulch. So metal flashing and the foam spray should have been put there. So we cleaned the carpets and disinfected in the basement 3 weeks ago, only to have to go through the process again because the mice had arrived again. That part was annoying. But overall, we are happy that the critters are now gone for good (so far).
Description of Work: Metal flashing put are parts of the perimeter of the house where mice can enter. Also vacuumed the ceiling where mouse poop was found.

 + 0 moreThe process went extremely well. I have had other exterminators come and try to eliminate the mice problem only to have the mice return. This time Matt assured me that the problem would be solved. So far he is correct, I am happy to say. I did not have his crew use disinfectant, because I did not want toxic chemicals used in my home. I would highly recommend this company for the elimination of mice.
Description of Work: The provider checked the perimeter of the house for mice entry as well as the basement of the house. The entries were sealed with metal so mice could not get entry. Also, poison was placed in spots in the basement and later removed at my request.

 + -1 moreWe noticed that we had some uninvited guests living in our home, and after several failed attempts to trap them, called Mouse Mob for an estimate. During the estimate process, Matt from Mouse Mob found the place they were coming in and told us how to fix it, cheaply and easily. The only cost was the $125 fee for crawling around under the deck (well deserved!). We did what Matt said, and haven't had any issues since. Thank you!!!

Description of Work: we had a mice and bat issue last year. Matt and his team came out quickly and took care of the issue. Today I had them come back out as it starts getting cold to retreat the area for mice issues. Matt and Ryan found a potential area that may be the issue and promptly sealed it and re-treated my home.  + -1 moreWe bought a home that was not lived in for over one year and as a result the mice started to think of it as home. I called amny other exterminators and even hired one but all they did was set traps and did not fix the problem. Mice mob and Matt are very educated on this subject and took time to explain their strategy to kill, block holes and eliminate all rodents from ever coming back. They did a great job. At first I could not understand why we had to wait two to three weeks between the poison traps and the sealing of our home but it all makes sense as they feed the mice that usually leave the home and die outside the home but we did find about 10 dead mice so we knew it was working. Once they sealed the house there has been no sign or entry and they even came back a week later to fix one garage door and an exterior door that was a concern for us. I would hire them again and they are worth every penny so don't try to go with cheaper options as that will just lead to more headaches. Mice Mob offers a one year guarantee that no one else does.
Description of Work: Came over and gave us a detailed estimate that included three steps - First laying out food traps (poison) all over the basement and anywhere they suspected entry into our home. Second, coming back in two weeks and sealing up all access points so the mice could not get in including under the deck and garage doors as well as the roof.  + -1 moreMatt and his team were great! The first experience I had with them was when I called their office line at midnight expecting to leave a message. We had trapped our 7th mouse in our laundry room and below our kitchen island and I was desperate to rid our home of these little monsters. Matt answered the phone at midnight and talked to me for 15 minutes about my problem. He then even squeezed me in for the next day to come take a look at the problem. They came and laid poison after checking outside our entire house, going into our attic and little crawl spaces on the second floor and our basement. They waited 2-3 weeks and then returned to seal and disinfect our home. After the first day they laid the poison we haven't seen another mouse. We paid $1300 for the service and they guarantee it for a year. We can pay another $179 annually to renew the guarantee. We will likely do that. I highly recommend them!

 + -1 moreMatt is very knowledgeable and thorough in his plan of attack. He completed an inspection of our home and placed bait for the mice. Ideally the mice were supposed to eat it and then leave the house in search of water before dying, but we had 3 die in our home (one inside the laundry room wall - yuck!). I understand that this is not anyone's fault and am thankful that the odor is finally fading after several days. Bill and Dan then returned a week later to seal the house. Both men were extremely courteous and meticulous in their work, even though we added on the task of mouse-proofing the hayloft in our barn on a very warm day. We are very impressed with the quality and neatness of their labor. We now have a 1-year warranty on the house (not possible on the barn, understandably so), and though I have heard a little scratching of something trying to get in, there have been no more mice. I do feel that the price is a bit high, but I appreciate someone helping me with the problem of the mice entering our home, rather than just exterminating them.

 + -1 moreMatt came to our house to assess our problem. He determined we had gaps between our siding and foundation, which allowed for mice to get into the house. Matt placed out bait traps, then had his crew out 5 days later to install metal flashing along the entire perimeter of our house to seal up any holes, adjusted our garage door to prevent mice from getting into the garage, and sealed up any other holes in the siding. Matt and his crew were very professional and easy going. So far, we have not heard any mice, so I think what they did is working. The price is a bit high, but worth it if it prevents mice from getting in.

I wanted them to get to the root of the problem. They identified the root of the problem and fixed it. They went around and sealed all the cracks in the foundation around the perimeter of my house. We haven't had any problems since.

 + -1 moreWe recently purchased a home that had been vacant for a while. Once we started remodeling in the basement we found dead and live mice in the home. We were able to remove those that we found and set traps for any future entrants, but wanted to be sure the home was "mouse-proofed" before moving in. I spoke with Matt and scheduled a time for initial inspection and estimate. Matt was extremely professional, courteous and flexible with me as I was dealing with other contractors and caring for two little ones that day! Matt did a great job of describing any "weak points" in the home that may allow entry from rodents and also describing the process of "mouse proofing" the outside of the home. Matt did an initial treatment (poison packets/pellets) that day and we scheduled a time for the team to come out the following week to complete the job. The two gentlemen that applied the metal flashing around the outside of the house and also sealed any utility entry/exit areas were absolutly fabulous. We had had some heavy rains, so they had to work in some muddy conditions, but they didn't complain! They were very efficient, kind, courteous and, most importantly, professional. They were very diligent about their work and tolerated my interruptions when I had questions. I hope to never have the need for an exterminator in the future, but am happy to know of this company and the good work that they do, should the need arise!

 + -1 moreMatt, the owner and the rest of his staff were very nice and professional on the phone and in person. Matt came to our home to complete an internal and external inspection of the property. He pointed out all of the key areas that mice were coming in from. He provided us with a couple options to ensure not only that they get rid of the mice issue, but to ensure they don't come back in our home. After our initial meeting, we set a time for his other employees to come out and block those entry points. The employees that came out were very nice and did a great job in blocking those entry points. Since they've been here we haven't seen any activity and we're finally able to live in our home in peace. I was very impressed with the follow up calls I received from Matt after the work had been completed. We highly recommend Mice Mob Exterminators to anyone with a mouse problem. Matt and his team are prompt, professional and provide great customer service!

 + -1 moreThey were very nice. They were thorough in going all over the house, the attic and the basement as well as all over outside. I think some companies just put out poison to kill any mice they may see but these guys actually look for the entry where the mice are coming from, from the outside and block it off so that we don't have to go through this again. We live in a wooded area and we have a really big house. They were very fast and they showed up when they said they would. They actually give a warranty so I shouldn't need them again.

 + -1 moreI called Mice Mob Exterminators to exterminate the mice in my house in February this year. Matt went through the attic (1st thing) and then through the rest of the house and placed bait all over the place. In 7 days the mice were gone. All the noise in the walls, and in the attic was completely gone in 7 days! Then, Matt's crew came over and sealed the house in galvanized steel around the base of the house where the vinyl siding starts. This was on Valentine's day 2013. They also sealed the roof with galvanized steel. The areas not sealed in steel was sealed with a poison expansion foam. They also sealed the garage with galvanized steel. Ever since then, the house has been silent and mice can't get in. Hallelujah! During the fall season (currently since it is the middle of October), I hear mice (rarely at times) trying to get in. They screw around with the steel frame Mice Mob placed around the house. I told Matt about it and he placed bait boxes around the outside of the house to kill any mice trying to get in. Now that's going the extra mile! It is absolutely wonderful knowing that mice can't get in our house and that Mice Mob is there supporting me for concerns outside of the original scope. I am very grateful for Mice Mob. Investing in their work was worth every penny!

 + -1 moreI could not have been more delighted with these folks. Their service was incredibly fast and thorough, and on top of that, they are the nicest people you will ever meet. I would go so far as to say that these are the finest home service providers I have ever hired -- and I've had plenty of other good ones! If you have mice, and really want to get rid of them, in my opinion they are the only people you should call!
Description of Work: These wonderful people offer full-service, guaranteed mouse removal. They were actually the second exterminator I hired, because the first exterminator, who is very highly rated on Angie's List, only did part of the job. The first exterminator set traps, which appeared to work. However, I'm convinced the mice would have returned once the bait was gone, because the first exterminator did not identify all possible points of entry. (But I guess that's the way to go if you're in the business of selling service contracts; and they were.) Mice Mob Exterminators offers full-service mouse extermination. They will: (1 ) Lay traps (although in my case, they tested the traps the previous exterminator set, which were adequate); (2 ) inspect thoroughly (climbing up to the roof and digging down in the dirt. Previous exterminator eyeballed the house from the ground and missed the most egregious entry points); (3) Provide highly skilled professionals to perform all the carpentry. (Previous exterminator did not offer this service and we are NOT HANDY!); (4) Disinfect contaminated areas. (Previous exterminator did not provide this service.) Specifically, Mice Mob: (1) Performed a "Cheerio test" on traps set by previous exterminator (this proved that the traps were effective, so there was no charge for this service); (2) Replaced my garage door's bottom seal and also sealed the garage door vertically with siding; 3) Removed steel wool from openings in the AC line and dryer vent. The previous exterminators had placed it there, and my non-handy husband had followed up with well-meant, but sub-standard caulking. Mice Mob explained that bit by bit, over time, mice can chew out the steel wool's fibers. They substituted impenetrable galvanized steal and elegantly re-caulked the seals. 4) Got down on the ground to check the seal under my chimney (Previous exterminator came and left the house with clothing and shoes impeccably clean and unwrinkled. He certainly had looked professional, but I realize now it was style over substance). 5) On ladder, checked and sealed all roofline corners and junctions. (The previous exterminator, eyeballing our roof from ground level, thought there MIGHT be a roofline opening in the back of the house. In contrast, Mice Mob got up on a ladder and found that back area to be fine. However, they found large openings filled with nesting materials in the front of the house. Those openings were entirely overlooked by the first exterminator. Considering that mice were living inside our roof, the first exterminators almost guaranteed they'd visit me again once their traps ran out of bait.) 6) Blew out the roofline debris, filled it with an impermeable foam, sealed it with galvanized steel; 7) Sealed in the attic fan and sealed attic vents; 8) Disinfected crawl space and attic with Sporicidin, which eliminates mice scent trails. 9) Removed mouse droppings behind refrigerator, under dishwasher, and in cabinet, and thoroughly disinfected. 10) Provided a written guarantee for one year, which is renewable for $175. However, it's unlikely I will ever need to renew because my house is basically in good shape. Some of the older buildings they serve may need the guarantee because they are deteriorating structurally.
