Dave responded to my phone call immediately and came within the hour. My dryer was not producing heat, and he repaired it in less than half an hour. Very knowledgeable and professional service, and he is also very kind. I would definitely call again.

Excellent service. Thought we were going to have to replace our dryer, but Dave fixed it. He even had the part right on his truck. He came out quickly and his prices are very good. We highly recommend Dave!

The refrigerator had quit cooling to the proper temperatures in the freezer and refrigerator compartments. Dave came promptly and after a little disassembly determined that the defrost heater was not working in my 30 year old refrigerator. Regretfully parts for the unit are no longer available. Dave reassembled the unit before leaving and I ordered a new refrigerator.

The fan was quickly replaced on a holiday weekend. Quick, very nice guy, would definitely hire again.

My dryer stopped working so I called Nick at S&S Appliance for a repair. Nick was out of town so he referred me to his brother-in-law, Dave of Dave's Appliance Repair in Hoffman Estates. Great. Ended up being a simple issue with lint and a dryer sheet being stuck in the fan. Dave worked quickly and quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue.

Dave gave me instructions on how to do the work myself since the only thing that needed to be done was defrost the freezer. I was leaving to go out of town and what a relief it was to know it was done and I could have a worry free vacation. Great advice that was spot on!

Professional and honest recommendations as to what to do with dryer- I would not hesitate to rehire Dave’s Appliance for other repairs.

Called Dave up - he came the next day and had it fixed within minutes. I have had other companies throw parts at these kind of things when they didn't really know the reason why it wasn't working. Dave found out the issue in a few minutes - it was a minor repair and the bill was very reasonable. Will definitely work with him again and highly recommend him if you are in need of someone who is quick to respond, knows how to technically assess the issue and isn't there to gouge you with costs. Great. Self owned, great service, and reasonable rate. He had to come back out because of another part that failed and promptly responded. He gave me a generous discount for having to get it repaired twice in two days. I’d recommend him and would call him for future needs.

What an awesome company! Dave is the most professional, helpful and reasonably priced repairman I have ever hired. We moved into a rental and the wash machine was broken when we moved in. It was a fairly new machine which the prior tenants broke. Dave was up front about the cost of repair being more than the machine was worth and charged a minimal service fee. A few weeks later the dryer broke. He asked for the dryer model number over the phone so he could pick up the parts before he came out, stating that way he wouldn't have to charge us for 2 service calls! He came out the next day, fixed the dryer, cleaned out the vents, at a very reasonable price. I called him on two other occasions with questions about other appliances and he was so nice to answer my questions over the phone. If you want the job done right at a great price - give Dave a call!
