Awful company. Impossible to reach anyone "live". The phone numbers they give are just recordings. Or one that doesn't work. The website to enter your phone number for Text Updates NEVER works. My home warranty company always selects them to "fix" things and it's rare they ever get anything fixed.
Description of Work: Ice maker keeps freezing up (not making ice - actually freezing the whole maker). Samsung model. Sounds like they all have this issue. A&E always tries a bunch of things....none of them ever work.

Ripe off and don't do anything. They came to fix my dryer 6 times and didn't fix it Its still broken every time they send someone else with different issues. Terrible Company I sent multiple email to LG/ Better Business Bureau/Consumers affairs. I will keep writing bad reviews and complain until my issues is resolved.

Extremely hard to get a repairman out for a repair. Their scheduling SUCKS! The time frame is between 8 & 5 & they won't give a shorter time frame! Had a repairman out in September 2022 for a noise my fridge was making. On that day the noise wasn't as loud as before so the repairman showed me what it probably was (the cold air damper control) & I should call back if it got loud again. I called again that next week and I had to wait 3 weeks for a repairman at which time I told them what part was needed. When he came he did NOT have the part, he ordered the part from his laptop & rescheduled the repair for Nov.11th. I received the part and on Nov. 11th I had to call to find out about my appointment & they told me my appt. was cancelled because they didn't have a repairman available!! I was NOT contacted by A&E about this! Then they gave me a Nov. 23rd appointment! They would NOT allow me to speak to somebody in charge either!! This is an extended warranty purchased thru Lowes!

They were hired by insurance company to replace a handle on my microwave. First of all they have appointment window 8a to 5p!!!! You have to be home all day! They sent you text and email every day, but no one to reach! After 3 weeks of struggle technician arrived! He changed the handle, but broke the microwave!!! Terrible service! BE AWARE!!! DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!

First visit the tech spent 5 minutes and asked for owners manual and said he had to come back another day. The next week the tech never showed up. The 3rd time the tech said he could not get into the driveway. Now tomorrow I have to take off a 4th day from work to see if they show up. I have been without the dishwasher for a month. If I had another choice I would choose someone else. LG contracted them. Not happy

I have requested a service from the A&E Factory Service to check the ice maker that was not properly working. The A&E technician came the date of scheduled service. He looked at the ice maker, then looked behind the fridge and told us that the waterline pipe was bent and that we need a plumber after what he left. That took about 5 minutes. Soon after I have received a bill for $286.86. Labor cost $170.04 Diagnostic Fee $99.00 Tax on Labor (state) $17.82 To be clear - no labor was performed at the time of service although in his notes the technician wrote that he cleaned the ice maker (which he did not do). I have contacted A&E Factory Service Customer both via phone and emails and until now nothing is resolved. They would only provide standard auto answers and would give me a different numbers to call (4 or 5 numbers in total: repair dept., billing dept., billing disputes, customers’ complains, etc.). I have followed all their instructions regardless and called the numbers provided multiple times (more than 15 times) and left multiple messages. I have even mailed a formal billing dispute as advised and heard nothing in return. I am beyond frustrated that it takes so many calls plus a formal letter over the course of almost two months now to get this rectified. At this point I was willing to pay and be done with it, but the billing department never picks up the phone, they do not return phone calls after leaving multiple voice messages. A&E does not accept credit cards as a form of payment, neither they wants mailed checks. At the end the ice maker is still not working even though we hired a plumber and the waterline is fixed. Attached are some examples of emails from A&E.

Still not fixed, attempted to replace control board, did not work, took entire dryer apart, trying to order another new part, in the meantime I am waiting weeks for them to fix to no avail. They are always late and misrepresent themselves.

The service technician that initially came out was great but their scheduling in horrible. We'll schedule an appointment for 10 days out cause they say that's the soonest they have available and then 2 days before the appointment they call to move it out another week. The exact same things has happened both time. When you call they say they don't have anyone available yet their schedule said they did a week ago.
Description of Work: We have a broken washer. A&E Factory Service is handling the repair. Our initial appointment to discover the problem with the washer was moved 3 times and the repair appointment has now been moved twice. If A&E Factory Services makes the next scheduled appointment it will have taken 3 days short of a month to get the repair completed.

Horrible! I think this company is a BIG SCAM! I plan on reporting this to everyone! They owe me my money back! If he would have checked out ALL 3 of the new parts, he would have seen that the part he was saying needed to be sent was already here! He was grouchy & I think he was mad to be working on a Saturday!
Description of Work: BEWARE OF A&E: 800-905-9505 3333 BEVERLY RD E5-141B HOFFMAN ESTATES , IL 60179 This is the company I found online to who had a GE "authorized technician" to repair my 5 yr old washer. The local place I hired had ordered 3 parts (GE did cover under the 5 yr warranty) but after they were installed it still would not run. I hired A&E because the local guy said the washer was very complicated & he thought maybe he was missing something. The A&E guy came out on a Saturday afternoon & spent 15 minutes at the most checking out my washer. I gave him the boxes of the 3 newly installed parts and asked that he make sure all 3 parts were installed correctly. His diagnosis after 10 minutes was that the computer board installed didn't go with my washer. He gave me the number of the correct part & said I needed to order it & then maybe that would fix it. He said GE is "notorious" for sending wrong parts. I was baffled that they would send a part that doesn't even go with my washer. I paid the guy @$136.00 and he left. I called first thing Monday morning to find out that THEY HAD SENT THE RIGHT PART! The number he gave me was to one of the other 3 parts sitting there. He had not even checked out the other 2 parts the first technician had installed. A&E does not want to refund my money and insists that I "PAID" for them to come out & they did! What?????? I thought I paid for a technician to diagnose my washing machine. I will never use them again & beware!
