They did good. The work looks great. They were easy to work with and Angelo get to contact with us.

I contacted them regarding some interior painting. I felt that they were more expensive than they led themselves onto be, but they were fine from what I can remember other than that.

Note date listed above is not accurate as no work was done and I did not recall last contact. We did not use service provider as he did not provide services that I needed and I got a refund.

From our first meeting, Angelo made us feel like we could trust him completely, and that initial impression proved to be right on. From start to finish, he really listened to us and our needs for this new space. His design was amazing from the start and with just a couple of tweaks, we have a space that is functional and beautiful. There were a few bumps and rough spots along the way as is to be expected when adding on to a 100+ year old house, but in the end we have just what we needed. Angelo has gone above and beyond from our first meeting to the post construction fixes. I would highly recommend AP Builders and General Contractors for any project large or small. In fact, we are already making plans for our next project with them! Update - while we felt happy for a while with our addition, as settling problems cropped up as they will, AP Builders has refused to stand by their warranty and make necessary repairs. During the course of the construction and the regrading of our yard, one of the contractors dropped the cover for our catch basin into the basin. To this day I have a piece of plywood covering this large hole so that my child or dogs do not fall down into the catch basin. This has been an issue since it happened, and has not been taken care of. Our other big issue is with the installation of the floating bamboo flooring throughout the family room and bedroom in our addition. Within a very short time a large gap appeared in the middle of the family room as well as at the bathroom door and at the edges of the rooms. This is very unsightly as well as dangerous as both of my handicapped parents who live with us use walkers and the gaps are large enough to catch the wheels of their walkers. We have since filed a complaint with the better business bureau to which they have refused to respond. Our contract clearly states that he warranties all labor and materials and yet refuses to address the flooring issue stating that the problem is with the materials that we selected. At this time we are finding ourselves with no other choice but to pursue legal action against AP Builders.

I bought the deal planning to have them install new screen doors, weatherstripping a door and other handywork around the house. They contacted me to set up a date, but I did not contact them until close to the expiration date. Angelo said that he was busy but would still honor the deal after the date and to please email me with the list of tasks. After several missed calls and emails, Angelo said that he wanted to come out and see the work needing to be done. When he did he said that it wasn't worth repairing/weatherstripping the front door and that installing a door was a two man job and to let him know when I've bought the doors. Ultimately I changed my mind about the doors and just wanted handywork done. I called on 1/9/14 to set up a date and he told me that he had too much work and that he had recent knee surgery and didn't want the job. When I asked for a refund he said to contact Angie's List.

It went very well. My list was well defined and each item was taken care of with great care and skill.

AP Builders came to refinish our basement after we had to reinforce the basement walls. Angelo was very nice and very easy to work with, but we were a bit disappointed with the quality and price of the project.

We saved a great deal of money by bypassing the plumber route and using A.P. We got the general handyman service through one of the "big deals." He did a nice job, went very smoothly.

Angelo, is very professional he and his assistant Sergio came everyday started on time. When Angelo and his assistant were present the job went very smoothly. The electrician did a great job so did the plumber. The only thing that gave us pause was the crew that hung the drywall. They finally finished and did a decent job, however I had to address several issues with them and Angelo had to come and point out there errors as English was not their first language.

I thought what I had that needed to be done would take long but he did it four hours. He was quick and efficient. I would use him in the future.

Very patient with us during the planning stage. Angelo came up with various budget friendly solutions. We were the ones that decided to go over the budget, with more expensive materials. Always punctual, kept us updated on the progress and checked with us on our satisfaction. Cleaned up - daily. Very satisfied with the beautiful impressive work. We would highly recommend the company, and would use them again for any future projects.

It was an excellent experience. He was on time and went above and beyond what he had to do. He even fixed the door on the way out.

I was not overly impressed with the Angelo because when I mentioned I had purchased 8 hours, he said he works like a two man crew so he did not think I needed the whole 8 hours. While the shelving was put up nicely and secure there were areas where he misjudged a screw hole and had to redrill but he never back to patch the hole he made initially. I had to hire another crew to come in and replaster to prep for a painting job because it was not done completely or sanded down for painting. Angelo did not complete the entire 8 hours because I decided not to bring him back for any additional work.

When Angelo said he would be at the work sight every day he meant it. He and ALL his help were always on time and professional. I have never had luck with contractors before but Angelo was always there for us with any questions we had. He made this project go very smoothly and timely. I would highly recommend Angelo to do YOUR next job. Thanks Angelo, Karen & Al.

Owner and crew were very responsive and flexible. They produced a high quality end product with which we are completely satisfied. We would recommend them for any building project.

He was very prompt, cooperative, professional and clean. He did very good work and more than put in the time I had purchased. The only reason I did not rate him an A on the work performed is that there were some minor issues. For example, there was some minor damage done to my bathroom when he removed the tub. A short piece of baseboard was cracked (will need to be replaced) and there is a minor scratch to the bathroom cabinet that I think was caused when the tub was removed. The bathroom has no space for errors so I totally understand how the minor damage could have happened. The tub was super heavy and probably was something that should have been done by more than one person so I give him props for doing it solo. It was something I never could have done on my own. With the roof, either the replaced shingles or other shingles blew off a week or two later. I have no way to know whether the ones that came off were already installed or the ones he repaired. Likely, I need to have someone out to go over the entire roof. Also, with the baseboard, I had a few pieces that were not stained yet that I asked him to use in the closet where they would not be visible but they ended up in my kitchen in a very obvious spot. He caulked the top of the baseboard where the wall had gaps and there were quite a few spots that I had to do clean up after he left. Finally, he offered to put a door stop (his own cost) by my front door because the knob was hitting the wall when the door opened and damaging the wall. It never occurred to me that he would be screwing something into the brand new baseboard. He actually made a mistake and made an extra hole a couple of inches to the right of the final one. The doorstop fell off shortly after, leaving me with two holes...and no door stop. I struggled with this review because he was clearly trying to help me out and was so generous with his time and worked very, very hard. The issues I had were things that I consider minor but on the other hand, it also created some extra work for me. I think he definitely would have come back to address the issues if I had asked but because he did work so hard and the vast majority of what he did was very good quality, I did not feel comfortable calling him back.

I was not very happy with their service. I bought two deals from them for eight hours worth of service. I did not know that the guy charged me for driving. That was not clear. He was on my place in just maybe three hours. I thought he would be doing a top notch job. I did not like the service he provided at all. He only did okay with the thing he put on my shed.

Overall, it was a very positive experience, from the quote to the completion.

We bought 4 hours, but he did one task (installed a bathroom fan) for 2 hours and then he didn’t finish with the other 2 hours or the rest of the list. I felt as though he lacked in his customer service skills.

Angelo installed a new faucet in one of our bathrooms. The pipes were old and hard to deal with,, He really had his hands full, but was gracious about it. Faucet was installed beautifully and works like a charm. He arrived on time, cleaned up nicely, and was very personable. He does remodeling, and I definately would consider him for bigger jobs.

We had AP Builders come out on two separate visits. Both times he did a great job, showing up when he said he would, getting the jobs done in the right amount of time, and doing quality work.

Initially had some issues with quality of their work. The company came back and touched up their work to my satisfaction.

Ceiling is ok but final sanding of joint compound was not to my standards. Doors worked ok on second set of doors (first set trashed). Casing was not properly installed and some was cracked finish nails not set etc. I had to spend hours fixing all the problems. I was not happy.

Had a lot of problems but eventually everything was fixed allthough I am still not thoroughly satisfied with the granite countertop seams but can live with it.
