Description of Work: We moved into our home a few months before and when spring came, our air conditioner did not work correctly. We called this company and they were very prompt in coming out to take a look at it. It was quickly determined that there was no coolant in the air conditioner. I agreed to and expensive 'nitrogen' test to search for the leak. Several hours and three technicians later, they determined there was no leak. Somebody must have 'stolen' our Freon. So not knowing anything about air conditioners, we let them proceed with adding more, and assumed that there was no problem with unit, as that's what we were told. Fast forward to August...same thing happens. I am now convinced there is a leak and call the company back. He (after speaking with his manager) says he can come out at no charge, but if anything has to repaired, I would be responsible for that. I tried to explain that this was not fixed correctly the first time but he wasn't having it. I agreed to let him come out in a few days. In the meantime, I had another HVAC company come take a look to get another opinion. Without any fancy test and just simple tools, he was able to find the very obvious leak in the coil within 5 minutes of being here. I then cancelled my service call with JC Heating and Cooling as they've already gotten enough of my money and I really don't trust their abilities at all.

Description of Work: My a/c stopped working. The repair man came on time the next day and fixed the problem which ended up being the furnace. He also cleaned the actual a/c unit outside. About 1 hour after he left the furnace fan quit again. I called right away and the repair man came out the very next morning, figured out the problem and fixed. Gregg was the repair man and he was very clear and explained the problem and the possible solutions. He offered good advice and didn't push to purchase a new furnace.

Description of Work: They replaced my Furnace and Air Conditioning unit. Hauled away the old a/c and furnace and even my old water heater. They put everything in brand new, installed new ducting (tried to get old duct cleaned but, the duct cleaning company was unable to clean a portion and JC replaced the duct at no cost!). They installed a new cement base for the new A/c unit. (the old one was not level). They installed a new exhaust and intake system for the furnace. They installed new drainage system for the humidifier and furnace.

Description of Work: JC provides work for my management company. They have done many work order repairs on gas and electric heaters, hot water heaters, etc. They are always prompt and professional and the price is good for an established company with top equipment. Jerry(owner)does a nice job running this company and we will continue to use. Average work orders are around $300.00-400.00. If more detailed or replacement work needs to get done once they diagnose the issue, they will submit a follow-up proposal in a timely fashion.

Description of Work: They replaced old and installed new high efficiency 2-stage furnace and AC in a 2 story 2BR brick house. They also improved and extended the return ducts on the 2nd floor and ran new supply ducts to provide additional heat to the veranda room.
