Koshgarian gave me the wrong rug at pickup. I didn't notice because I stored it rolled and wrapped. They called two weeks later when they noticed the error, and we arranged an exchange. They promised a discount for my trouble but I never received it. I told my credit card company, but Koshgarian lied to them so I never receive the promised discount. Koshgarian used to be a reputable company, but under Jordan's management it is no longer. I will avoid Koshgarian in the future--what a headache to deal with their mistakes and dishonesty. Save yourself the hassle.

They do an excellent job in carpet cleaning. The first time they came out and left absolutely no odors from the cleaning supplies. They also have great deals. I will recommend them and use them, again.

I was half beat to do it at the time. The price was within what we expected it to be. They were very convenient, and we know they do a lot of it. I use them for those reasons. I drive by it a lot. I know they specialize in the type of rug I have. It took them a week. The interaction was everything I would expect.

They are a little on the high side but they do an excellent job. Two workers came and it took about an hour to clean.

I have very high standards and sometimes I think its the personality of the person that comes over.

We have used Koshgarian for drop-off rug cleaning and also for in-home wall-to-wall carpet cleaning. They have always provided excellent, timely service and every employee we have met both in the Hinsdale location and those that came to our home have been attentive and professional.

They are excellent. High quality, and professional. They are the only ones we trust in our area.

I guess satisfactory nothing great. Didn't quite get all the stains removed. Well they could have reported us that they didn't get all the stains out but they didn't do that they just kind of returned the rug.

Drop the rugs off and they were ready the following week. Looked great

I used Angie's List to contact Koshgarian but they never called back or contacted me in any way.

When I called this morning, the woman on the phone was very pleasant and receptive. She assured me that they would be able to come out today. She said sometime between 12:00 noon and 4:30 am (I called around 8 am). They got here around 1:20 and gave me a 15 minute heads-up phone call. They were courteous, efficient, and pleasant. They knew what to do and they did it well. I was thrilled that they were able to do everything they did, especially for only $120. It was more than I could have hoped for. I will definitely have them back. I cannot say anything negative. There is nothing negative to say about them.

The two service providers arrived on time. They did a very good job cleaning my older living room carpet. They pointed out areas where red wine had been spilled and unfortunately left a permanent discoloration that could not be eliminated. Also an area in front of a chair where the nap was just worn and also had permanent discoloration. Raised all the large pieces of furniture left in room up on styrofoam blocks to aid in drying. I asked them to protect my hall wood floor from cleaning solution and water, which they did. Thought they, as usual, did a very good job.

Excellent job and guys even carried rugs in and out to our car. We use them regularly and wouldn't go anywhere else.

I was pleased with the results. The colors looked vibrant again.

I have used Koshgarian with no problems before. However, this time, my carpet came back torn. Apparently, the company takes photographs of the carpet when it is done - so I asked the person why they did not see the tear or worse yet, inform me about it when I picked it up. I was tranferred to Larry - an absolute joke. Besides his arrogance, he first said that this happened because the carpet was wet. When I asked him about why I was not informed about it at pick up, there was no answer. He then said I could bring it back to Koshgarian and have it repaired - and PAY FOR IT! Ha. What a joke. They damage an expensive rug; do not inform me about it; then ask me to bring it back in and pay for it. He then said would talk to his supervisor (the owner), and after I called back (yes, he never bothered to call me), he told me to bring it in and they would do it for a discounted price. Geez. The money is not the issue - how would they feel if say their vendor charged them for machinery repair, screwed that up, and then charged them for that. I am shocked these guys have such good reviews here. Look at Yelp or Google for more accurate ratings - this company is a complete disappointment and I will ensure that all my friends know about this.

Koshgarian pick-up our 8 year old ( $1,200 ) ( 8 X 10 ) wool rug, and promised to have it back in a week. After a week they delivered the rug, with a paper wrap on the rug. The two guys asked if we wanted the paper removed. As the guys removed the paper wrap, a large dust cloud came from the rug on to our new floor. The guys wanted payment, and left very fast. As we inspected the rug, we noticed that the rug backing had come loose, and the glue for the backing had been dried out, and turned to dust. And that the rug looked faded . We canceled the check that we gave them. And called them to tell them that we have a problem, and to pick-up the rug. Over the next two weeks we went back and forth with them. When we were visiting their plant, to see our rug, I noticed that they had a couple rugs soaking in a pool of water on the floor. In the end, they offered to put on a new backing on the rug for no charge, as long as we wrote them a new check for the cleaning charge. We believe they were unprofessional, and will not use them again.

Koshgarian Rug did a great job cleaning my rugs - and I was concerned because they are very pricey rugs. I didn't realize how dirty they had gotten until I had then back - definitely brought out the colors in the rugs. They also have some great specials ... which is something to look out for. I would definitely use them again.

Every time the carpets come back looking wonderful. We have two dogs and a cat and there are many stains. Koshgarian gets the stains out and the carpets look like new. I highly recommend their service.

While getting my house ready to list and sell, I realized that my 2 area rugs are absolutely filthy but I had no idea about cleaning them, so I searched Angie's List, realized that Koshgarian is only a couple of miles from me and called. I spoke to Dan, who gave me options on getting the rugs cleaned and prices that were far less then even replacements, and even better, if I brought them over myself there was a discount. I drove over the same day with both rugs-the parking is accessible and the door was automatic, so I was able to wheel my little cart right in. I was immediately acknowledged and offered help. The guy helping me was pleasant and friendly, took my info, answered my questions, unrolled, measured and checked both rugs. He was nice and upfront about the condition of each and explained that they wouldn't be perfect because some stains don't come out and there was a lot of wear on both rugs-I almost laughed because I knew the smaller rug is inexpensive and that both were really dirty from years of use and three dogs but the kid helping me was very honest and nice. They told me that the rugs would be ready in 7 days. I got a call 6 days later that both rugs were ready for pick-up. I went in, another kid helped me, pulled my order right away and carried the rugs to my car. When I got the rugs home and unrolled them, both look far better then I ever expected! The bigger rug has some sentimental attachment, and I'm happy to say that it looks almost new! Patches where the knap had been crushed aren't visible and all but one mark is gone, and the remaining mark has been significantly lightened. I'm beyond happy with the outcome, will recommend Koshgarian and use them again.

Great Job!!! I dropped off the rug at the Hinsdale facility and it was done within a week. The staff was very courteous and provided answers to all my questions. Of particular interest was the fact that the area rugs are cleaned with a large machine as compared to the typical hand operated carpet cleaning machines. The finished product spoke volumes..... This is a great way of cleaning a rug and saving a few bucks by taking the effort to drop off/pick-up the rug at their facility. Also, plenty of parking and the customer enterance is located behind the building.
