He does really good work. He's too low. He has to change his business model, as his entrance to self-employment was based on necessity, and as we've used him he's gotten better at estimating. the first job he did for us, he quoted at $300. He came as a referral from one of my marshal arts students. The next guy quoted me $1000. I hired him not because he was $700 under the other guy, but because he knew the relationship that referred him to me and there was no way he wasn't going to do his best. To me, that was more important. We divided that job and said look, the materials alone are $300 for this job, so we have to pay you more than $300 for the labor. That relationship was a little different from what most people would engage in, but I would definitely recommend him to my family and my closest friends.

Davy arrived promptly at the scheduled time and performed the work (inspection) to my satisfaction. He got right down to business and knew exactly what to do. He set my mind at ease because I was concerned about the wiring from the door bell because the wall above where the door bell was located started to get burn residue marks on it. I will certainly call Davy again and will use his services for all my electrical needs. Excellent job done and Davy was very professional. Mr. Crocklen came to us via referral from someone that we respect. Davy responded to our request for quote by coming out to review the job the day after we called him. In expressing our desires and concerns about our home's electrical service we certainly revealed our inexperience. Mr. Crocklen went through every aspect of the proposed job and helped us devise a work plan that featured our needs and respected our budget. We hired him on the spot because we could sense that he had a heart for service and that he would treat us just as he would like to be treated if our role where reversed. There was some trepidation about what the job might cost and we where relieved...no joyful, when we saw the quote! We scheduled the work and in a few days we started the project. As can be expected in an eighty year old house, the scope of the job exploded. We discovered "burried boxes", "flying taps" and exposed original wire that was still in use inside the walls. Mr. Crocklen explained every detail in a way that we could understand. Our easy answer to him because of the trust he built up with us was to do the job as if it was his own home. We are totally satisfied with both the quality of the work and the price we paid. To that extent we would certainly consider Mr. Crocklen to be "our guy" for electrical work. Without reservation or a single exception, I would give Electrical Concepts and Davy Crocklen our complete 100% endorsment.
