NO problem but sales man sort of talked me into getting additional insurance that I didnt need Otherwise all went well. Anyone needing a good mover, I recommend these guys.

They were excellent! They had two movers at first, it took seven hours to load all of our boxes and furniture on to the truck. When we received our goods after the move the new gentlemen were wonderful. They were a lot of fun and really entertaining during the entire experience. They were very organized and efficient. They picked up everything when they were supposed to and dropped everything in the right place exactly when it was supposed to be!

My daughter just used this service and had this to say: Fantastic experience! From the person who first helped me, T.K., to the pick up and delivery teams, Mini Moves is an excellent company to do business with. I researched several moving companies and so glad that I chose this one. The only misstep is that they were to store my items in Florida so that I could have delivery whenever I wanted and instead stored them in the Chicago area causing a delivery delay. Highly recommended.

I bought one of those fancy beds that have "Zero G" goes up and down, vibrates, etc. I absolutely love this bed. HOWEVER, it weighs ( just the base) about 400 lbs. Miguel and his crew were able to get this monster up into a second floor bedroom, without any damage or complaining! UNBELIEVABLE! Great Job guys! Thank you. Jeff (Spring Grove, IL.)

It went wonderful. The movers were friendly and very professional.

They did what I needed to do but they took forever to deliver. It took them three weeks. It took them a really long time to get my stuff.

They were on time. They were professional and courteous.

I got the recommendation for MiniMoves from another moving company that came highly recommended by the staff at the senior community where my father-in-law lived. The original company was unable to do interstate moves and told us to contact MiniMoves. I was concerned because of some negative MiniMoves online reviews warning about the price changing after the movers arrived, so I sought an additional reference from the senior services consultant who arranges transitions for people moving to the facility where my father-in-law lived. The consultant said she had never had any problems with MiniMoves and uses them multiple times every month. She also explained that lots of her clients get an estimate and even do a walk-through with the movers but change their minds about what they want to move and then get upset when the mover charges more for them adding a lot of stuff more than was agreed on. I could see where that would cause problems, so we dealt with this concern by emailing our MiniMoves contact person a complete list including measurements of the furniture we needed to have moved so we could get an accurate estimate. We emailed back and forth a couple of times and agreed on a price. My husband and I were in Chicago when MiniMoves came to get the furniture. The crew leader, Chava, and his assistant let us know they would have to move our time two hours later because their previous appointment ran over. We appreciated them keeping in contact and warning us they might be late but they actually ended up getting there sooner than they were expecting to be able to do. The two of them got right to work and wrapped each piece of furniture in a moving blanket, then secured the padded blanket with tape. Then they basically encased each item in clear plastic secured with more tape. We had two book shelves, a desk chair, a desk, a large dresser, and a bench in addition to a large bed wall unit consisting of two large pier cabinets (each almost ceiling height), a headboard storage cabinet, a light bridge connecting the two piers, two mirrors that fit between the headboard and the light panel, and of course the mattress, box springs and frame. Chava and his assistant were very polite, showing kindness and respect to the grieving family members who were present. We appreciated that they knew their way around the senior facility; it was their third move of the day at the place. They were very careful with our stuff and had the right equipment to move the heavy items without damaging them. They got everything loaded and were on their way. We felt they did an excellent job. Since we were not in a hurry to get the furniture, especially with the holidays being so busy, we were not upset about waiting nearly a month for it. Toward the end of our window for delivery, we got a call from Angelo, the scheduling coordinator, telling us our delivery day and a two-hour time window. The two-man crew arrived promptly with a rental truck and we were relieved to find them every bit as courteous and professional as the crew on the Illinois end. Eric and Tay delivered our stuff without a scratch. They unwrapped it and cleaned up the wrappings, moved it into position in the room we wanted and took great care to reassemble the wall of bedroom furniture with the complicated light/mirror attachment. We were extremely pleased with the service. We feel that by the time we would have paid for a one-way rental truck and fuel and help to load the heavy furniture, we would have spent a lot, possibly hurt ourselves, and probably damaged the furniture. At this stage of our lives we feel it was worth it. If you can be decisive and clear about what items you will include and flexible about the timing, we would recommend this company for moving items that make too small a load to hire a traditional interstate moving company. We have nothing but good to say about the top-notch crews who took care of our move.

Eric and his partner did a great job moving one of the attorneys in our office from the Loop to our Palos Heights office. The attorney's desk was quite large and heavy, and posed a few problems getting it out of the suite -- but they assessed the situation, put the desk in a different position and brought it through all the doors without a scratch. I understand from the attorney who met them in Palos Heights, that the space they were moving his furniture to was not as large as his downtown office, but again, they assessed the room and came up with a plan for getting everything into his office. I would definitely use MiniMoves again!

I?ve used MiniMoves before to move a heavy desk from Indiana to New Jersey. This time, I had 2 twin bed sets with heavy headboards, very thick mattresses, end table and chair to be moved to NJ. The entire process was easy. They called to confirm pick-up date and time slot about a week before, emailed a couple of days before the pick-up date to reconfirm, movers called prior to getting to pick-up location and arrived as scheduled, packed up and took the items. The delivery process was just as smooth. They even laid down blankets to protect my floors which was great. Price was more reasonable compared to other quotes I received and actual cost was about $70 more because of the extra items which my mother forgot to include in the initial estimate. I?d highly recommend them and would definitely use them again in the future. Thanks MiniMoves!

The movers were punctual, courteous, and efficient. They finished the job quickly yet treated my items with utmost care.

The pick up was a little slow as the lead had the wrong paperwork so the price was wrong. It took him about a half hour on the phone to get that straightened out. There was only one man moving things during that time so then it took a while to get everything loaded. I told Steve when I had arranged the move that I had a 10 X 30 storage space mostly full, and that I had many many boxes in storage, but then the pick up men were surprised. They were very careful with my belongings and I appreciate that a great deal. I asked for an afternoon pick up and was told we could go to the next state that night, but then the pick up men said they had worked since early that morning and could not deliver that night. I had to wait 2 days to get my delivery so had to stay at a hotel another 2 nights - cost I did not expect. The drop off went very well. These employees were very responsible and hard working. I found no damage to my furniture or belongings and that is rare. The price is the only reason I would not use them in the future but I might consider them if I were able to negociate a better price. I did have to pay extra for the large cabinet to be removed as they said they would be charged by the company for dropping it off. I have since checked prices on other movers and the prices are less, but this company did respond in one day, and have availability in one day as well. I figure part of the price was for responsiveness.

Moved some furniture from NY State to PA. Careful and professional. Have used them before and will use them again. Don't even bother to get other estimates. They are great.

I can't stress enough how amazing our experience was with Mimi Moves. After calling several moving companies and feeling a bit apprehensive, we just went to UHaul. We were shocked at their quote and I figured, "what the heck, let me just try a national company and see what they charge." With that, I called National Van Lines and they recommended MiniMoves for my job. We moved from the Northwest Indinana/Chicago area to Tampa, FL. My first point of contact was Steve, and he was thoroughly professional and helpful and gave me a quote right away. He urged that if my initial count was different than what I was really going to move on move day to call within 24 hours to have the quote re-adjusted so that there would be no surprises. I did just that, so I knew exactly what I was dealing with on move day. When that day came, I was contacted, as promised and everyone was extremely professional, timely, and just went out of their way to be friendly. They told me that I would be contacted again within 2 weeks to drop our stuff off. All went as promised and although I happened to be pretty organized when it came to each of my boxes and furniture, they seemed to be a step ahead of me. I truly would use this company again in a heartbeat and also recommend them highly. Each person we came in contact with were tremendous, professional and loved what they were doing. We've moved dozens of times through the years, including international moves. This was the first mini-type move. They were the best of all moves we experienced. Their style, practices and professionalism should be cloned by like companies in/out of their field. If there was a rating higher than an A+, I would give it.

Representative in Chicago very responsiveness and careful. I had a few changes which I phoned in before the actual packing date. This ensured that there was no confusion when they arrived to pack and move items. Recommend that insurance is purchased. Online document system was very helpful in tracking changes. Chicago Team that packed items was careful and professional. DC Team was punctual and arrived as promised. Items arrived with no issues and team professional as well.

My husband and I recently moved from Central Ohio to Southern California. We hired MiniMoves to move one of our cars and all of our household and personal belongings. The sub-contractor they hired to move our car was several days late in picking up our car due to a breakdown, which we were more than amicable about dealing with. Once they picked up our car, the sub-contractor changed the delivery date several times, which caused a lot of headache, but we were still trying to be fairly reasonable with them as a company. When the car finally arrived, it had 4 large scratches running the full length of the passenger side. When confronted about this, MiniMoves said they would follow up with the sub-contractor, and we could file a claim. We were not sent the proper paperwork to do this, and had to contact them several more times, and this issue is still to be resolved. The car issue was only a slight annoyance compared to the issues we are still currently having in retrieving all of our household and personal belongings. We signed a lease in an apartment 2 weeks after MiniMoves picked up our stuff, and upon signing the lease on Wednesday July 23rd, called to talk to our representative about scheduling delivery. Our representative was not immediately available, but we were told our stuff would likely be shipped Friday, and we could expect a call by Monday, and our things Thursday. This initially seemed reasonable to us. We were not contacted Monday by our representative, we left 3 new voicemails, and several more e-mails, and finally were told early in the week that our things had, in fact, not shipped out because they had not charged our card. When my husband inquired why our card had not been charged, since they had all of our information and permission to do so, he was told that there was a discrepancy in what we told them we had and what they actually picked up, causing their estimate to be lower than the actual cost, so we needed to approve the amount. At NO TIME did an employee take any initiative to inform us we needed to do this, we had to basically hound them down to get this information. When they sent us the list of items they claimed to have picked up, there were several very disturbing discrepancies in what they claimed we had and what we actually have. We came from a small 2-bedroom apartment, and are moving to one of similar size. They listed on the manifest 2 dining tables, (we have 1) 2 vacuum cleaners, (we have only 1) and several other items that did not match any of the (very little to begin with) furniture we owned, such as a TV stand (which we got rid of before moving) an ottoman, and 2 (2?) safes. When we tried to inquire about the differences, we were basically ignored. Because they were not returning our calls or e-mails, we contacted the Better Business Bureau. More than a week after originally trying to schedule our delivery date (Thursday July 31st) my husband spoke with John Alianello, the Executive VP, to rectify the discrepancies in the manifest. They came to an agreement and John told us he would expedite our shipping and ?escalate our service? because we had been having so many issues with communication and contacting anyone about our order, and that we would most definitely receive our things first thing Wednesday morning. Today is Wednesday, August 6th, the date we were promised delivery. Since talking with John on Thursday, no one from the company or any of their sub-contractors contacted us in any way. At noon, my husband called our lawyer to set up and consultation with one of his associates to help us seek legal action against MiniMoves, because they had not followed up with most of our correspondences, and when they did follow up it was only after we contacted the BBB. We also sent an e-mail to MiniMoves stating that we had sought legal counsel, since they did not deliver our things today as promised. He received a one-line reply saying someone would be in contact with us. Several hours later, John did manage to get around to calling us, and has assured us we will see our stuff by Friday. No apologies for the continued lack of communication were made, just excuses, and more promises that we, because of their track record, cannot trust. At this point, we have absolutely no faith that we will actually see our stuff Friday. We have been made promise after promise, and MiniMoves has not followed through on their end. The extreme lack of communication and their excuse after excuse of why things are not adding up or why we don?t have our stuff yet has caused us hundreds of extra dollars in unforeseen costs. We are literally in physical pain from spending many more nights than one should on an air mattress. Living in such a state of limbo has caused more undue stress than should be legally allowable. This company has shown itself to be untrustworthy and unprofessional. The initial fair price and deal we thought we were getting is NOT worth the trauma we have been through in the past two weeks alone. It is definitely worth it to spend a little more to get a company that can be trusted, and isn?t full of excuses. I would never recommend using this company to anyone, even if you are just moving down the street.

I didn’t like the fact that the delivery date was given and they didn’t meet that time. I asked for a receipt of purchase and it was not given to me. I was charged more than the estimated rate. They finally brought the boxes 4-5 days after the expected time. I will never use them again.

MiniMoves takes care of the small moves that do not require a full truck. There were 5 loads on the truck the day they brought my furniture back from Wisconsin. The gentlemen kept me informed of their arrival. There wasn't any tension or anxiety during the move. They looked at what had to be loaded and they took the furniture out in the order best suited to be put on the truck. When they delivered the furniture to my home, their boss came and helped them unload. He put a chair down and I started to move it to another place. He said, "Excuse me, this is why you hired movers. Where would you like me to place this?" The move was smooth and efficient. I would highly recommend Minimoves
