+ -1 moreNeeded a new garage door opener. Came out the same day and installed one. So far it works, 3 remotes, a key less outside & button inside the garage. They told me this was a new and current model. Did some checking on the internet and found out this is an older model. I paid $480 for a Chamberlain LiftMaster 3255. I guess if it works and I don't need parts or repairs for many years to come; I'll be happy. But feel A&M mislead me into buying an older model for the current model price.

+ -1 moreThe guy came out right away and fixed it. We were very happy with the service. Neither one of us can remember how much it was, but it was reasonable. It was a very good experience. They were prompt, courteous, and it seems like the work was done well. The original company that installed the garage door opener could not come out for three days, and this guy came out right away.
Description of Work: I did use A & M Garage Door Company. We had a broken spring on our garage door and it was stuck in the down position.

+ -1 moreAand M came out the next day on time , what I did not do is ask for a quote before they arrived ,when they got there they quoted me a price of $275.00 , I said that seems high as the last time it was replaced 6/2003 by Aand M it was $125.00 , they would not budge, I said you are here,, replace it , then the repair tech , used my ladder and some of my tools to do the repairs. It was my fault to not get a quote before I started the work .Since that time got quotes from other Garage Door companies in Naperville and the price range for the same is $120- $155 per spring and repair . Do not use this company unless you get a quote and make sure they bring their own tools.
Description of Work: I had to replace one torsion bar spring a 1 3/4 x .273 x51 inch.

+ -1 moreThey were terrific! They came right away, the same day that I called. I was afraid that the motor had burned out, but they told me that it had not, and that it was just under stress from some broken metal guides that they replaced. I would like to give them the POH honor!
Description of Work: We had a garage door repaired. The door was stuck open. The price of the service included parts and the work took about a day.

+ -1 moreHE WAS ON TIME AND CAME OUT THE SAME DAY I CALLED. HE WAS QUICK, TOO, GETTING THE JOB DONE. HE IS AN OLDER MAN AND VERY SINCERE.
Description of Work: REPLACED ALL THE DOOR WHEELS. ONE WAS CRACKED BUT HE REPLACED THEM ALL SINCE HE WAS HERE.
