Description of Work: John Weiss is an excellent contractor. My house needed new windows. I contacted Scott Javore for window placement in my den. Scott gave me 3 contractors names and I picked John. He was extremely knowledgeable and fair. He put in 18 windows and my heating bills went from $1200 in the winter months to $400 a month. | |Since he did such excellent work, finding a plaster person for some of the walls, I asked him to redo an old bathroom and redo my kitchen. The bathroom is exquisite and the kitchen is beautiful. I did not replace my cabinets on the kitchen, and john's men removed everything else without leaving one mark on the existing cabinets. | |A few years later John redid the cedar siding on the outside of the house. Then hr replaced 3 outside doors with storm doors. I had them stained to match the inside of the windows. The carpentry is exquisite.

Description of Work: Living room plaster ceiling in my 100 year old house was sagging. They jacked up the ceiling and added screws and plaster washers to secure the ceiling to the rafters above. This allowed us to have our ceiling repaired without having to have it replaced.

Description of Work: Interim Report: John Weiss is our General Contractor for the renovation of a 1950's 3 bdrm ranch that needed a great deal of work. We are half way through the adding of a MBR closet and bath, complete renovation of the kitchen and the refinishing of the basement.
