Great...would recommend highly! Could not have been nicer to work with, even replaced grass they had to dig up and gave me sprinklers to use for a few weeks to make sure all grass grew.

Fantastic. Very professional in every way. Very fair price. Great communication.

Mike came as planned to assess the issue and promised to provide an estimate for the project in the next couple of days. More than 2 weeks later, and after one follow up, I still have not heard back from them or received a quote. If this is any indication of how they treat their customers, I am happy I did not end up hiring them for my project.

North Shore has serviced my sprinkling system for the past 2 years. I switched to them when learned that my previous company of 10 years was shutting down my system without flushing all the water out at the end of season and Mike, the owner, seemed like a responsible person. This year, a technician I did not know came out to turn the system on. First he grumbled that he had to go downstairs. Once downstairs he could not find the water spicket. I heard him ripping up the plastic sheeting that serves as partial insulation and asked him to please stop what he was doing. He started yelling and swearing at me. I asked him to please come back up and told him to leave. He got very angry, told me to move, and pushed me out of his way. I immediately called North Shore and asked for the owner Mike. I was told he was not available. I relayed my story to one of the office staff who asked me to hold and suddenly Mike was on the line. I told him what transpired. I made it a point to tell him that I did not want the technician fired. I just didn't want to be subjected to that person again. I also reminded Mike that I had bushes and flowers coming in two days that would need to be watered. He told me that he could not schedule an appointment without first talking to his employee. I understood that he wanted to hear his employee's explanation and although his response made me feel as if he didn't believe me (appalling in and of itself), I said I would wait for his call to get someone out the next afternoon. Mike said he would call first thing that next morning. Unfortunately Mike did not call. I called the office 3 times and each time I was told Mike was not there but would be calling me. Mike finally called at 4:15pm to tell me he couldn't service me anymore because the technician Pedro had told his story to the staff and none of his people would go near me. Flabbergasted I asked if he understood that his employee was out of line, that my insulation was partially pulled down, and that he had left me in a horrible position. He said yes but there was nothing he could do. No apology for his employees behavior. No offer to come out himself to get the system going. Bottom line the owner clearly feels it is acceptable for his employees to treat women abusively.

They got right to work to turn it on and make repairs to the sprinkler system and everything is working fine.

The price was reasonable.

They were great. They're really good, I like them. Their pricing is pretty good too, it's reasonable.

They worked on the system and it was way over budget for a partially finished job so they did not finish. 3 months after they left the job, I got a water bill for over $10,000. The city of Highland Park came out to investigate the water bill and found a leak in my system which leaked two and a half million gallons of water. They did not check for leaks and they did not turn off the water when they were finished working.

It went extremely well. The guys divided the lawn, dug all the trenches and installed the system. By Noon my lawn looked like a disaster but by 4p it was back to normal. I couldn't believe it, you could hardly tell they had been there. I was very impressed. A couple of months after the installation one section of the system wasn't running, so I called them and they came out immediately. It was minor issue, they fixed it at no charge and it was functioning that day.

The start up went fine and on schedule. The technician was polite and efficient. I asked for a bid in expanding our system to include a drip system for the hanging flower baskets and window boxes. After hearing nothing for about three weeks I called and still have not received a bid. This company is not what I would consider economy priced so I would expect a better response, especially when I am considering spending more $. I'm looking for a new vendor.

The company was very responsive and professional to deal with. I reached out to a few companies to receive quotes and the North Shore's quote was by far the most expensive quote. The quote was for a system that seemed to be a little bigger than what I would think is needed, but even if that was taken into consideration it seemed more expensive compared to most other quotes.

I called North Shore to turn off our sprinklers last fall and it went fine at a bit higher cost than other companies as we needed it to get done. We then called them to come out and turn on the sprinklers this spring, they showed 40 min late and they asked my wife to do a few things without giving her a quote even..... I just wished they had given her a quote first b/c we would have never done it. Also, the prices are much higher than any other company (we should all go into the lawn sprinkler business). When I called to ask why they didn't give her a quote first she they only give quotes if asked. I think every other service provider we have ever had used gave us a quote for their services before they perform it. The woman on the phone seemed to have no interest in keeping our business, she just said her technicians would come out and take out what they installed..... a week later I received a phone call from Northshore apologizing for the our miscommunication and they agreed to adjust the price. we appreciated the call and they seemed interested in keeping our business and working with us. I am not sure if we will use them anymore, but it seemed as if the person who called us cared about the customer and it went a long way with us.

I had an appointment for 4/29 to have some repair work done. I came home from work early that day so I can be here when the repairman arrived. Nobody showed up. Nobody called to rescheduled. I called a week later to follow up and have not received a call back to reschedule. Overall, this is horrible customer service. I don't know why anyone would use this service.

Very well. I would highly recommend. My neighbor and I did at same time so they game us a 10% discount.

II gave them a B rating because I had a bad experience this past summer when the system did not work. The individual that came out told me a part was broken and they needed to order it. He said it would take a few days to a week to get the part. I never received a call to inform me the part was in and to schedule a time to install the new part, which was unusual. I called and the same person answered the phone and was not very pleasant. He did not apologize for not contacting me or my having to wait. He did not try to find an earlier time as were without a system for some time. If you recall last summer was very dry and I was concerned about my plants, bushes and evergreens. I then turned out that was not the issue, an animal had chewed one of the connections in the backyard. If had taken the time to check earlier I would not have had to wait. The second person that came out was very pleasant and completed the work in a short. I was not pleased with how I was treated the first time. I usually find them very helpful from the scheduling of the appointment to worker that comes out to my home.

They are so professional. They are extremely responsive. They are like robots, they come in and do the work and get it done. They are just amazing!

I called and Yan walked me through restarting my sprinkler since my kids had unplugged it. He was very knowledgeable and even took the time to look up my settings in their records. I have had the system from them going on 3 years and they have always been prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and accessible. I highly recommend them if you are looking to put in a system or looking for a new company to service your system. I even called after 5pm and got a live person!

It being May, we had to wait about 2 weeks to get an appointment. They sent two guys who fixed the vacuum breaker and dug up and diagnosed the shredded main line. They didn't have time to fix it that day and said someone from the company would be in touch to schedule another appointment. I talked to their main office during the next week and they were able to schedule another appointment the following Saturday (amazing!). One of the guys who came before showed up (they told me between 11:30-1:30 and he came at 2:30). He said he was supposed to have a helper, but didn't. He worked for five straight hours getting everything fixed. I had to stay and help turn on and off the system from the box in the house while he was checking out each zone. All things considered, it was very good to get someone out two weeks in a row during their busiest season and get the system running just as the garden was being planted.

The sprinkler tech was right on time and had the job done in 30 to 45 minutes. This company has worked on our system for the past 4-5 years, including seasonal work and changes/additions to the system. They've even tunneled under our front walk to extend sprinklers to a garden. They always get the job done, are always on time, and are pleasant and informative.
