I am a service member who is living out of state and rent my house. My tenants called to state that the kichen sink was leaking. I called Little Tommy's Plumbing Shop, Inc. The first day they attempted to clear the obstruction and charged $522. I was told they would attempt to clear the main line but might require further procedures. They quoted me a fee of $310. They charged $388. They then said the garbage disposal should be replaced. The wanted to replace my 3/4 horsepower unit with the cheaper Badger 5 but charge me 25% more than the average $400 fee to replace the unit. I would definitely ask what equipment/appliances they are going to use. I am disappointed with the hot water heater they installed also.

Mickey was very professional and did thorough work on the water pipes in our 1/2 bathroom on the main level. Tom was very professional and provided good insight as to what was the cause of the leaking problem. He even recommended bringing in an HVAC person because he realized this was beyond of the scope of the work his company did and he wanted to get the job done correctly without any further incidents I would recommend Little Tommy's Plumbing for all your plumbing needs.

Mike and Javier did excellent work. Took 4 days to completely re-pipe house which was the estimated time. Added shutoff valves to make it easy to isolate parts of the house if necessary. Work was very neat and organized. They cleaned up after themselves and were very professional. Loved working with them. House now has terrific water pressure. Have used Little Tommy's for other work and would HIGHLY recommend them.

Great! Mike did a great job, He worked through the difficulties of this tight water heater installion. Between him and Tommy they fiqured out the best way to get through his tight installation that my other plumber that I had used for 25yrs didn't want to do. They are great! and guess what? Little Tommys is my new plumber now!

I was a former Municipal Building Director. All of "Little Tommy's technicians are either apprentice level or fully licensed plumbers. Fully qualified to do the work needed to perform necessary repairs or necessary maintenance. They always provide a full description of the problem and the solution. Fair prices, fast and clean service with a fair warranty. A Plumbing Company I trust and I was in the business for over 20 years. I highly recommend "Little Tommy's", and use him for all of my daughters(5) houses , too.

It was a difficult install because there was not a lot of room under my sink and the original faucet was stuck and had to be sawed off the granite counter top which was stressful but the technician handled it beautifully.

We've been using little Tommy's. There were a couple of things outside where they didn't glue a couple of connections together. Fortunately, it was outside. I didn't realize they weren't glued and came apart and washed a bunch of dirt and that out.

I think that it is expensive for what they did. They are local. They do a fine job. They came out the same day.

They showed up right at 8AM and worked throughout the day. The job involved removing two old hot water heaters and replacing it with two high efficiency direct vent water heaters. They replaced all the copper piping and added shut offs to help isolate each heater for in and out flows. They laid down drop cloths throughout the house and swept when they had finished. I believe Mike was the tech and he showed true old school craftsmanship. Highly recommend!

I can't say enough good things about Little Tommys. We had them out today for an odd plumbing issue; the two guys who helped us arrived within two hours of our call and were knowledgeable, kind, courteous, and charged a very fair price for their services. They even got a few laughs out of me during an otherwise stressful/difficult situation! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reputable plumber!

Steve, the plumber who took care of our problem was at the house 5 minutes earlier than the appointment time I helped him narrow down the location of the leak. He neatly removed a small area of drywall below the leak. He determined that the leak was a bad seal at the base of one of the toilets on the second floor. He removed the toilet and old seal and then installed a new seal and reinstalled the toilet. Total time from arrival to departure was one hour. Before he did the work, he explained that they work on a quoted fee based upon the worked needed. Even after the "senior discount", the fee for this "operation" per a printed pricelist that he showed me, was $293, about 12% less than it would have been if I was not a "senior". As explained when I called to set up an appointment, the service call would be $89, which would be omitted if we proceeded with the work, so my total cost was $293. I think that this cost was excessive for a total of 1 hour labor and a few dollars for the wax seal. Having been in the business of construction engineering before I retired a year ago, the value of this work should not have been more than half of what I paid. Although I am satisfied with the promptness of the plumber and the quality of the work, be aware that cost will be high.

Installation was perfect. No problems.

It was great. The guy was pleasant and did his job and fixed the sink and the tub.

This company charged a minimum charge of $89 to dispatch a plumber. The plumber then quoted the price of the job, which was $286 to rod out the bathtub drain. The plumber seemed competent and knowledgeable, and willingly answered questions about his work. We only wish the work would have been a little less expensive. It only took one hour.

Loved Todd Blum and the manner in which he handled our estimate. He was very thorough, educational, and professional. He gave us several alternatives and reasons for choosing the one he recommended. His follow-up was timely. A great representative for Little Tommy's. Although we did not award the job to Little Tommy's, their estimates were close in equipment and cost, and our decision was based upon another vendor having a slight degree of greater visibility in the neighborhood. We would have felt very comfortable awarding the job to Little Tommy's as well.

The day I called Tom Mahoney he came over and gave me an estimate. He took care of the problem in less than a week. The first plumber arrived on time at exactly 8:00 am. He immediately covered the floor and the carpet on the stairs with a cloth to protect them. He explained exactly what he planned to do. The second plumber came later in the morning. Both plumbers worked steadily and neatly. They completed the job around 1:30. They were very polite, neat and helpful. I appreciated having them in the house. Without a doubt I would call Little Tommy's Plumbing for any future plumbing issues. I feel lucky that I now have a plumber that I can rely on and plan to tell my friends how pleased I am.

We have been longtime customers of Little Tommy's in addition to his family's previous company Mahoney Plumbing. Tom Mahoney has been a trusted service provider of ours for almost 25 years. He stands behind all his work. At the end of the day his primary concern is to make his customer happy as this is a word of mouth business. His estimates are reasonable, not the most expensive nor the least. He has done everything in our house, replacement of faucets, sink, replacement of toilets, double water heaters, furnace, in-furnace humidifier & air cleaner, air conditioner & most recently adding new ductwork during an interior remodel project. He will recommend what to buy but more important will steer you away from products that are overpriced, not made well or worth the money, difficult to maintain, etc. His most recent major project for us was as plumbing contractor for a new exterior perimeter drainage system (during a remodeling project that included new roof, gutters, exterior stone veneer & siding). However, the primary reason for this review was to show support for his due to a recent incident I witnessed: I experienced an unfortunate incident wherein another person was badmouthing his company, the quality of his work & the alleged damage he caused, while in the presence of myself & other people during a class.This person did not have any work done by him but her adult son did. It was essentially secondhand information that was potentially damaging to Tom's reputation. I told her & the other people in the room that I had never experienced a single episode of bad service in the 20+ years we used him & it sounded like some details were being left out. I then told Tom about the incident. He painted quite a different picture of a customer that did not take his professional advice on how to remedy his problem & then suffered water damage as a result. In addition, he was refusing to pay an invoice for another job that was performed. Thankfully, Tom sent this customer a letter communicating his disappointment over how a relative came to badmouth him for no reason. It is important to stand up & not allow potentially harmful gossip to damage any company's reputation. I am proud to say I would do it again for Tom or anyone else for that matter. Most important, i f you search for Little Tommy's Plumbing Ship on Angie's List, you will see numerous reviews resulting in an overall Grade of A.

Did a detailed study of our heating needs. Would use his service if our house was not on the market.

Let me know that I needed a new faucet and gave me costs if I used them to purchase it from them & had them install it or if I supplied the faucet. The service man was wonderful, patient & polite. I have called them since this date re a leak in the basement (drips off a black pipe). Turns out my toilet is leaking. It was installed a year and a half ago by a handyman. Looks like I have to call them again to have this fixed. I will be doing that. This time, they charged me nothing!

Little Tommy came out himself to give us an estimate of his work. He was nice, friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to schedule the work right away. Ken (the plumber) came out in the rain and installed a clean out, rodded the main line, did a video of the line and cleaned out two downspouts. He was prompt, worked through the rain, replanted the plants that had to be moved for the clean out....I was very impressed with his work and professionalism. It was the most positive experience we've had with a plumber at our property the last 7 years we've lived here. $1680 for the whole job. Second job, we had a new sump pump installed. Little Tommy's was quick to respond and sent a guy out the next day before it rained. Steve was friendly, thoughtful and knowledgable. He was great! $380 for the whole job (we had a credit on our account that reduced the amount.)
