Beyond thrilled!!!! We started off with some issues and the owner himself, Angelo, came to my home and couldn't have been nicer. I cannot express how far that goes, in today's world where things become very impersonal, he literally restored our faith that there are businesses out there who care about their work and how their customers feel. The issue has been resolved and they are a company we will continue to use for other projects and will be glad to recommend to our neighbors and friends. Thank you! These are genuinely good people!

Great service and product. Installer came out quickly to measure and had installed door within a week. Offered great advice as far as options. Looks beautiful. I need three more shower doors and will use them again. I will also go to them for custom mirror.

This was a big job. I received 3 estimates all with similar pricing of providers chosen on Angies list. They seemed the most experienced. It was an enormous piece of glass and they seemed to really know what they are doing. Some of the other providers called seemed intimidated by the process of getting the glass to the second floor of our home.

They did an excellent job and saved me from having a far more expensive process of replacing the windows. Highly recommend them. They replaced over 10 windows that failed.

Lakeside Glass totally stood us up today I waited at home for Greg the technician, rather than run errands I really needed to do downtown. I had corrected the person who originally took my phone number, but he/she didn't make note of it, nor did they even bother to call 411. We are listed. The reason I was given why Greg didn't show up is because we "live in a high-rise." But I had told them that in the first place when I called them;lots of companies don't work in high-rises, so I said that in the first place, rather than waste my time or theirs. I also explained that we have a 30-foot concrete balcony to work on so no scaffolding is needed to replace our windows. The woman who answered the phone today made no apologies when I asked what what happened to Greg; she just kept repeating the wrong phone #. She said she'd call back with more info, but never did. Customer service at Lakeside Glass is non-existent; they don't listen. We never made it past my initial call. They would've screwed up something bigger. They're definitely not good with details.

I just picked them up last week and they look great. It was the first time that we used them and we'll take the rest of them that need repaired to them now. They had the screens for a week. The screens were torn and they completely replaced them. They look great, like new.

Great work from start to finish. I called Lakeside Glass and an estimator came out quickly. Lorinda called soon thereafter with the quote, which we felt was very fair & reasonable and we scheduled the replacement and installation. The installers were professional, friendly & efficient. Everyone we dealt with (Lorinda, Greg, Kelly) was great!

Recently Lakeside Glass & Mirror replaced some insulated glass that had fogged up in between the panes. Their mechanic Bill was prompt, efficient, and communicative. The glass looks great and we can see out of it now!!! We would hire Lakeside in a heartbeat.

Lakeside was very helpful in providing me with options as to how the mirror could be fixed. I made a choice. The service was courteous and the mirror was ready when promised. The new mirror looks great. I would use them again.

They came out promptly to take measurements and told me to expect a call with an estimate. The man who did the work called a couple times the day of the appointment so I knew exactly when he'd arrive. He was polite and cleaned up afterwards. The work was well-done and this company is a pleasure to do business with.

Great overall. They had the best price and prompt service.

They said that it was no problem and sent someone out the next day. The guy that showed up gave us a hard time about placing an order if we weren't going to be giving him money and that he knew nothing about X Landscaping paying for it. Fast forward 1 week and no word from Lakeside Glass. I called the office and explained the situation again and they then told me that I needed to have X Landscaping contact them to approve the work (I guess they couldn't take the time to call X Landscaping themselves, or tell me that I needed to arrange for this the week before). I got that taken care of on 8/3. I got back from vacation on 8/13 and nobody had called the office or contacted us to tell us when the installation will be scheduled. I contacted them again and they said they didn't have any info but they thought the glass would be in this week. I asked to be contacted when they had an update. I just called them this morning, thinking that if the glass was going to arrive this week they would know by now (Thursday). I was put on hold, then someone else picked up the phone and said they would call me back. He called back and told me that the glass would arrive on 8/23 and they would install it on 8/24. I have had problems with this company in the past when placing orders for replacement screens that our company paid for. They do not have any communication skills, they take forever to complete orders, and their workers are not very bright. I have had the installation guys tell me to my face that they already installed screens, where there are obviously no screens installed. Then they come back later and say, "oh, I guess I was wrong, it was at the shop". I will never personally use this company and I will advise my boss to use someone else the next time we need something done at our office.

I need a couple of panes replaced in a French door. I called Lakeside, spoke to someone about what I needed, and was told someone would get back to me. Nobody returned my call. About ten days-two weeks later, I called again, spoke to someone else, was told someone would get back to me, but nobody did. Seems like they don't want my business. I wondered if it is because my job was small, but if that were the case they should have just said so.

I had a very good experience. I came in there dead set on glass tiles for a kitchen backsplash. I left much more realisitc about the pros and cons of that idea and subsequently shifted gears toward ceramic tile, which is not their specialty. It was HUGELY helpful to learn what I did from them and they were unstinting in their willingness to explain the issues. And to think they could have sold me the stuff! But they were smart to know I would not have been happy - not good for either of us. I next sourced them for the glass fronts for my new kitchen cabinets. They walked me through the various styles, thicknesses, etc. - spent time helping me evaluate the options (overwhelming at first). I only needed two pieces but I got first class treatment. The ONLY, and minor, glitch was when more time passed than I had thought would be the case. I called them and they explained they had short staff in the fabrication area. But given my reminder call, they prioritized my job and all was ready for my pick-up the next day. I thought that was an excellent recovery. Very good folks and Highland Park is a GREAT place to visit, to boot!

I HAVE USED THIS COMPANY TO INSTALL MIRRORS AND GLASS SHOWER DOORS IN MY HOME. THEY ARE HONEST, EFFICIENT AND COURTEOUS. THEIR PRICING IS IN LINE WITH THE REST OF THE ''WORLD''. I HAVE TRIED OTHER COMPANIES FOR THE SAME SERVICE THINKING THAT I MIGHT BE ABLE TO SAVE MONEY. I WAS WRONG AND LIKE DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS ONE THE BEST.

GREAT PRICES. HOWEVER, IT TOOK ALMOST 3 WEEKS TO GET THEM TO DO THE WORK DUE TO BACKLOG.
