The seals were eroded in all four of the PVC pipe sewer vents jn the two houses I own. Shawn came out and went in the attic at both houses and examined the leaks. He then scheduled his team to come out and replace the stacks at both houses a few days later. They did an excellent job replacing all the leaking stacks in the roof. I was a little in awe that his team had no problem working on a very steep, ice-filled, cedar shake roof? which was very dangerous. Overall, Shawn and his team were a pleasure to work with... Shawn is down to earth, good-natured, honest and friendly. He is a true partner when it comes to identifying and fixing your roofing problems. I recommend Etruscan to anyone with roofing issues in the Northern Suburbs.

Shawn came for the initial estimate exactly when he said. I thought the work required was very involved, and showed him what I wanted. (We had experienced water damage in the house last winter.) He showed me that the water problem was not from the roof, but from the attic, and recommended a very good attic insulation company. I requested him to install water dams anyway (they were minimal cost). His guys came right when they were scheduled, did the job and I was very satisfied. I really appreciate the honesty and professionalism and would use them again in an instant.

Shawn was right on time. He found the likely areas for the leak and showed me them. Instead of pushing for work to repair this, he suggested I could easily address the issues with some simple caulking work even I could do. He gave me the name of a product that would do a good job. He was very professional, polite and helpful. He was a great ambassador for his firm. Based on my experience I have a very positive impression of Etruscan Roofing and will call them again if I have another roof issue. The day after Shawn visited I took his advice and did my DIY repair. So far all is good! Highly recommend them!

Great experience with Etrsucan. They re-roofed our house and garage, replaced and added vents (from 3 - 9 vents). They replaced the attic thermostatic vent and installed gutter flashing at no additional cost. Highly recommend!

The team worked super hard, ignoring the heat and taking very few breaks. We couldn't have asked for a more responsible group of guys. Shaun checked in and was on top of the progress, and kept us up on how much longer it would take to complete the job. They cleaned up the work area, and yard very carefully.

Excellent profivder. I've asked the provider to look at another roof at my house. I want to make sure that there might not be potential problems. The crew was very considerate and let me now what was going on. I recommend this provider highly.

They're great. It's a great company, the owner always come out himself and his very helpful. If I have an emergency with ice dams he came right out and took care of it.

They came the same day I called (owner picked up and was very helpful) and worked for 4 hours in the freezing cold to steam an ice dam off the top of my house. The ice dam was melting into my house and needed to be removed urgently. They then removed all of the ice blocks away from the middle of my driveway so we could use it. I would recommend them and will contact them again for a roof replacement proposal as well.

All work was done very professionally and finished with two days.

The experience I had with him was very good. I will give them all “A’s” on the rating. He is smart and did not try to take my money. He had logical answers. He took his time to show me what he was doing. He was able to fix the problems.

Did the job as described. New downspouts and extensions look good and gutters handle run much more easily. They probably ended up doing more work than expected on the roof, though they did it without any issues or trying to come back at me for more money. I asked them to come out and reposition one of the gutters on the roof after the job was done which they did. If I have future issues or for future gutter cleaning, I'll definitely use them again

What an outstanding experience!!! The price was fair and the workmanship was professional. Shaun and his crew were on time, neat, polite and did a great job. Shaun went out of his way to make sure that everything was perfect. The roof looks wonderful and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

It went very well. I was not home so they sent me detailed pictures. These guys are awesome. He charged me on the high side of the range he gave me, but it was because they found more problems that needed to be fixed. Very fair!

We were contracted and prepared to sell our home. We had agreed to remediate some mold issues as well as what we thought were minor roof leaking issues. We got the mold estimate first and they suggested we contact a roofer to see why we were having a mold problem and to also have that addressed to keep the mold from returning. We subsequently had three separate roofing estimates performed. One came back with a recommendation to rip off the whole roof and replace the whole thing (the house is 7 years old), another gave another high and aggressive recommendation. Shaun came in and gave us an immediate assessment and seemed to be spot on with what was causing our problems. He was very honest and direct and let us know that he thought it was a ventilation and insulation problem in addition to some minor leaks. In fact he subsequently recommended a chimney specialist (Lindemann) and an insulation specialist (American Insulation) to us, that was like Shaun and Etruscan and were professional, honest and gave us nothing but a good feeling about having hired them. We were additionally on a time crunch for closing and Shaun went out of his way with their busy spring schedule to get our job done on time. I am so happy that there are still honest, professional and trustworthy people still out there.

It went incredibly well. Sean could not have been more professional, kind or responsive. The team showed up on time every morning and could not have been harder working.

It was a pleasure dealing with Shaun. Very responsive, I contracted the work in the fall to be done in the spring. He came over several times when I called to check on issues I had during this brutal winter.

Prompt and professional for emergency ice dam removal on our roof. Massive ice dams built up around the gutters creating leaks inside our house. The owner seemed quite knowledgable about the issue, suggested ways to prevent it in the future, and acted quickly in scheduling the removal of the ice dams. The company did an excellent job, worked efficiently with a clean removal and pick-up. The leaks stopped when the ice dams were removed. We were pleased with the service!

They were great ! Very nice, very reasonable. They cleaned up nicely when they were done. It looks good and so far is working just fine.

Like most small business owners, Etruscan has to manage bigger projects and fit the littler ones in when they can. So for routine maintenance, you may wait a bit or get rescheduled. But we had a leak between the addition and main house, had booked the repairs for a couple of days out, but they showed up early when we had 3 days of rain predicted. So if you NEED service, they'll get you in, but for routine stuff you may have to be a little patient. They're worth the wait, do very good work, and are trustworthy. We know we will need a new roof any time now, and every time they are up there they tell us "not yet." What other company would do that??

My house is ranch-style, so the roof is relatively large. Etruscan tore off all the old shingles (3 layers in some areas), gutters, rotting deck boards and siding. The repairs and replacements were completed expertly, much better than the original roof 25 years ago. Shaun and his crew put in a tremendous effort to complete the work on a timely basis and get the job done so well. Highly recommended!

From start to finish, Etruscan Roofing provided the most prompt, professional, and courteous service a homeowner could desire. Shaun took the time to explain how the work would be done and what issues might be involved. I requested quotes from four companies and I was the most confident after talking with Shaun Quotes I received from the other roofing companies specified removing only one layer of shingles, even though it was evident there were two (or at least two, as it turned out). I had to ask them to requote and specify the cost for removing the second layer -- I assume they were planning to alert me to this (and the extra costs) only after the work had begun. Etruscan Roofing was the only company to note a second layer in the quote. And when it turned out there was a third layer, I wasn't charged for the additional work or hauling involved. The work to an additional day due to the extra layer and the debris it created, but since I have a smallish roof, the work was completed in 2 days. After the shingles were removed, Shaun noted that our older home only had slats and that he recommended a layer of plywood for better installation and to ensure the materials warranty. When I voiced a concern about some debris remaining on the window ledges, Shaun promptly took care of that clean up personally. He enjoys a strong reputation for his workmanship and professionalism, which means you may need to wait a little longer to get in the schedule, but take this as the mark of quality that it is.
