Description of Work: I spoke with the owner Linda Goldman about what my organizational concerns were. She picked one of her company representatives, Lisa to come to my home. Lisa is a bright, personable person who walked through my home with me helping me decide what to tackle first. I decided the garage would be a great place to start. We went through everything and picked out a huge pile to go to Howard Brown. She then called Howard Brown and set an appointment for them to come and pick up the unwanted items. I must say I was panicking before Lisa arrived, but once she arrived at my home it was all good. Linda Goldman and Lisa both followed up afterwards to make sure I was satisfied. They are a great help and a well run company.

WONDERFUL! KIM DID THE WORK AND SHE WAS GREAT AT GETTING MY DAUGHTER TO COOPERATE. WE PULLED OUT BAGS OF OLD TOYS THAT SHE HAD OUTGROWN BUT WOULDN'T LET ME GET RID OF BEFORE. I'M VERY HAPPY AND WILL HAVE HER BACK LATER THIS FALL TO ORGANIZE THE REST OF THE UPSTAIRS.

KIM WAS ABLE TO COME AT TIMES THAT WERE CONVENIENT FOR ME. SHE WAS ABLE TO SET UP PICK UPS FOR ITEMS. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY HELPED SCHLEPP ALL THE ITEMS UP FROM THE BASEMENT. I WILL CONTINUE TO USE THEIR EXPERTISE AFTER THE RENOVATION.
Description of Work: CLEANING OUT THE BASEMENT AFTER 25 YRS OF ACCUMULATED ITEMS. EVERYTHING NEEDED TO BE REMOVED BEFORE TOTAL RENOVATION OF SPACE COULD TAKE PLACE.

EACH DAY THERE WERE DRAMATIC CHANGES IN THE APPEARANCE OF MY HOME. IT LOOKS LIKE A NORMAL, WELCOMING & LOVELY HOME. I WAS UNABLE TO DO THIS MYSELF. IT OVERWHELMED ME. FROM THE BEGINNING IT WAS CLEAR THAT I COULD TRUST THEM TO CARE ABOUT ME, MY NEEDS & FEELINGS. THEY, EFFECTIVELY, TAUGHT ME TO ''LET GO'' OF THINGS THAT I THOUGHT I MIGHT NEED, OR TO GIVE TO MY CHILDREN, WHO PREFERRED THAT I LIVE HAPPILY & COMFORTABLY RATHER THAN ACCUMULATE & GIVE THEM THINGS. LYNDA AND KIM HAVE BECOME FRIENDS. I'D THOUGHT THAT I WOULD BE ABSOLUTELY MISERABLE TO WORK WITH, BUT THEY'VE NEVER ALLOWED ME TO FEEL THAT WAY, AND I'M NOT. THE MORE COMFORTABLE MY HOME BECOMES, THE EASIER IT IS FOR ME TO REMOVE THINGS. I DON'T THINK THAT I WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO THIS IF THEY HADN'T FOUND A FOOD PANTRY TO DONATE FOOD, A WOMAN WHO SELLS THINGS ON E-BAY, STORES TAKING UNUSED RETURNS, AND HELPING ME PACKAGE THE MANY ITEMS TO RETURN. I COULDN'T BE MORE DELIGHTED! AND, THOSE RETURNS HAVE PAID LINDA & KIM UP TO NOW
Description of Work: EVERY ROOM IN MY HOME WAS IMPASSABLE. LINDA AND KIM CAME TO MY HOME A DAY OR TWO AFTER I CALLED. WE TALKED AND THEY HEARD WHAT I WANTED, SAW WHAT I NEEDED. WE WERE ONLY GOING TO MEET AND TALK THE FIRST DAY, BUT AFTER WE SCHEDULED THE DAYS AND TIME FOR THEM TO COME, THEY STARTED BREAKING DOWN BOXES THAT I'D ''STORED'' IN MY FRONT HALL. BEFORE THEY LEFT, MY HALL WAS CLEARED OF 30+ BOXES, BROKEN DOWN AND TAKEN FOR RECYCLING. EACH VISIT RESULTED IN THINGS BEING ITEMIZED, BOXED AND TAKEN TO THE POST OFFICE, FOOD PANTRY, RECYCLING AND/OR STORES. WE'VE REARRANGED MY KITCHEN, MY LIVING ROOM, MY CLOSET AND MY GUEST ROOM. MY OFFICE AND GRANDCHILDREN'S ROOM ARE THE ONLY ROOMS THAT REMAIN TO OVERWHELM ME AND WE'RE DOING THEM AS SOON AS THEY EACH RETURN FROM VACATIONS IN TWO WEEKS. WE'VE SET THE DATES SO THERE IS ONLY A MINIMAL GAP IN TIME.

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE, ESPECIALLY PERFORMED BY THIS COMPANY. LINDA GOLDMAN (THE OWNER) IS CHARMING, FRIENDLY AND EASY TO WORK WITH. SHE HAS A MIND THAT SEES ORGANIZATION. SHE IS SO INTUITIVE, THAT SHE KNEW WHICH OF THE BABY'S DISHES WERE ACTUALLY USEFUL AND WHICH SHOULD BE DISCARDED. SHE AND HER COLLEGUE WORKED VERY HARD FOR TWO FULL DAYS; DIDN'T EVEN TAKE TIME FOR LUNCH WHILE WORKING. THEY ORGANIZED THE KITCHEN AND BASEMENT IN SUCH A LOGICAL WAY, THAT IT HAS BEEN POSSIBLE TO MAINTAIN THE ORDER. IN FACT, WHEN THEY FIRST FINISHED I WAS UNSETTLED BY THE CHANGES. IT WASN'T UNTIL WEEKS LATER, WHEN EVERYTHING WAS STILL ORGANIZED THAT I FULLY APPRECIATED HOW WELL THEY HAD DONE THEIR JOB.

AFTER COMBINING TWO HOUSEHOLDS, A FLOOD, AND A MOVE, OUR HOUSE WAS STILL FILLED WITH BOXES THAT I NEEDED TO GO THROUGH. LINDA WAS GREAT AND REALLY HELPFUL. SHE WAS VERY PATIENT IN HELPING ME SORT THROUGH THINGS & ESTABLISHING A SYSTEM TO STAY ORGANIZED. MY HUSBAND & I ARE DEFINITELY PACK RATS, AND WITH ALL THE RETURNS WE WERE ABLE TO MAKE MORE THAN PAID FOR LINDA'S TIME. OUR GARAGE IS COMPLETELY CLEAR, WITH PLENTY OF SPACE FOR EVERYTHING THAT BELONGS IN THERE. WE ARE EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THE EXPERIENCE THAT WE HAD WITH LINDA & WOULD HAPPILY USE HER AGAIN.

FANTASTIC. DEPENDABLE, HONEST, MAKES SUCH A DIFFERENCE AFTER COMING TO A NEW HOME WITH TWO SMALL CHILDREN, VERY HARD WORKER. PRICE IS PER HOUR.
