They came out gave fair bid and I paid 50% up front. They proceeded to conduct the job VERY slowly. I called every time and they came out and did one little thing and this went on for about a year before the low voltage was completed. A job that should take a few days at best. It is done and fully functional and fully paid for. Then the alarm went on for another 1/2 year. Now we are 16 months into the job. No alarm, no fire protection for my family. I finally gave up and had another company finish the job in less than a day! To be fair I agreed to pay him what he asked minus the fee for the second company to finish the job. He did install the basic system. He is now billing me for a few thousand more than originally agreed upon for a job not completed! I would not agree to the fee even if the job was done. We had a signed contract. This really belongs in the penalty box.
