Valor Pest Management

Bedbugs suddenly took up residence in my bedroom after deliverymen were in my house for about 20 minutes. It turns out I am incredibly allergic to bedbug bites! I was shocked and horrified as well as miserably itchy. I found Valor on Angies’s list and Chuck, the owner, paid his first visit here the day after I called for help. I found Chuck very knowledgeable about the problem. On top of that, he’s very friendly and easy to talk to—a pleasure to work with. He sprayed the whole house thoroughly and helped me put encasements I’d purchased on my mattress and box spring. It took me awhile to return to sleeping in my bedroom, but when I did, as Chuck predicted, I got a few more bites but that’s actually helpful because my presence drew the bugs from their hiding places, inducing them to cross the fatal chemical barriers Chuck had created. After Chuck’s second visit, judging from the very few, hardly bothersome, bites I got after that, all that were left to torment me were recently hatched nymphs. My encounter with the baby bugs lasted only a few nights but I asked Chuck to come for a third visit, just to make 100% sure the problem was solved. At the start of each visit, Chuck inspected the places where bedbugs customarily hide and showed me any “evidence” he found. It actually was quite interesting to learn all I did from Chuck. According to Chuck, we caught the problem early, so odds are my trouble are over. I am very grateful for his help and feel his fees are reasonable and certainly money well spent.

Chuck is very professional! Came out the day after I called and was able to take care of our mouse problem. After 2 years of service with no traces of mice we saw a few snakes. Chuck came out and caught 2 of them on his visit and reassured me they were harmless! Chuck is the best person to hire if you have any unwanted visitors in or outside!

My wife found a few bug bites around her forearms and ankles and then we found a suspicious looking little bug hanging out under our couch. We panicked. I found Valor on Angie’s list and called right away, it was after 10pm. Chuck picked up and had me text him a picture of the bug. He was able to easily confirm for us that it was not a bed bug, which was a huge relief, and tell us what kind of beetle it was. He asked some questions about our situation and recommended we set some traps for fleas. He was right. Our dog had brought home fleas from the kennel. Fortunately (for us) we have a tiny place and a steam cleaner and were able to eradicate the fleas on our own. We did text Chuck a couple more times when we found other scary looking bugs, and he was equally helpful each time. Chuck was available all hours, he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful through the whole process, and he helped contain the mass hysteria which spread in my house when we thought we had bed bugs, which kept us from spending hundreds of unnecessary dollars. 10/10

I gave Valor Pests a rave review just a couple of months ago. Ground wasps were eliminated with one application. I was also very pleased with how customer service was handled with very good communication about the appointment, calling ahead to say that he was on his way, being on time, professional in explaining the work. So, I didn't hesitate to call Charles when 3 mice were caught in my house in the past 3 weeks. He didn't respond to my first call and voice message so I called again a couple of days later, and we talked. He explained that he would inspect my foundation and lay traps so the mice could be removed before they entered into my house. We scheduled an appointment for the next morning. He was late so I called him when he was 30 minutes late and again and hour later and got his voice mail both times. I left a polite message saying that I would understand if something came up, and he needed to reschedule. Not a problem. No answer. I called again the next day, and again no response. My final call was made 2 days after that saying that this would be my last call, but I would appreciate at least a text if he had an issue that delayed him from responding and that I would work with him. Again, no response. I normally wouldn't be this persistent with someone who had missed an appointment and wasn't responsive, but I had such a great experience with him in July of this year, and his Angie's List description speaks to his excellent customer satisfaction. Very disappointed. I understand that issues, either business or personal can come up, but it's easy to leave a customer a text to say that they wouldn't be able to do the work.

Charles applied granules of treatment in the area, and the wasps disappeared. Landscaping work was done in this area this week, and I asked the landscaper if he saw any of the wasps, and he said the area was clear. Charles phoned that he was on his way to the appointment, showed up on time, handled the problem quickly, answered all of my questions, had a wonderful disposition. Well done.

Chuck came out on Monday he fit me into the schedule. He sprayed inside and outside the house. Explained what to expect and by Wednesday they were gone. He recommended follow up service to keep the ant problem under control.

Amazing!!!! Responded super fast to me freaking out. Immediately helped me calm down once he arrived. And even after his visit he was responsive with any questions I had. I highly recommend this company. Orkin came out first and was no help what so ever. Chuck came and sprayed and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely refer him and use their company again!!!

Chuck was very professional and very thorough. Gave tips on how to handle the existing problem and how to prevent it further. Will continue to use his company!

Great he is getting the job done!

We were told that the one time treatment would remove the bugs we were finding within 5 days and would be good for 90 days. Two weeks after the first treatment the same bugs were still appearing. A second treatment was done. Fours weeks after the second treatment bugs were still appearing so we called Valor and a third treatment was performed with what we were told was a stronger application. It has now been over three weeks since the third treatment and we are still seeing the same bugs. We will now need to call another service to have our problem resolved.

Chuck came out on short notice to take care of our ant problem. He was priced just right, friendly and thorough. You won’t go wrong if you call Valor Pest!

Chuck was very responsive. He preformed a visual inspection of the outside and inside of my house for mice activity. He was good at explaining the thing that need to be done to get rid of the mice problem. My wife and I had already address a lot of issues inside, but Chuck was able to point out a few additional things to do inside an out.

Great! Luckily there weren't any critters up there. Valor came out after several other companiesbproves unreliable or expensive.

Charles came out on short notice and was on time. He was very friendly and helpful. I had many questions about Carpet Beetles, which he answered for me. My home was treated, and Charles said that he'll come back if I see any more live beetles or larvae after a few weeks. So far, I haven't seen any. Very happy with the service. Very professional. Would hire again.

Very well...they were quick to respond and I noticed an improvement quickly. They were very thorough when spraying/ inspecting the home. Chuck was also very respectful with my belongings.
