Description of Work: I have used them for three home repairs at different times. Each might have been done by me in my younger days but due to age related physical ailments, I made a call to them and they arrived that day or the next. I consider them my handyman/remodeling go to people. I would refer them to anyone who needs help.

I have been using Dan Podolak for the last ten years for extensive renovations in my homes (Wilmette and Western Springs). I would NEVER hire anyone else for anything, if it's a job that Dan can do. Which is almost everything. His and his colleagues' workmanship is outstanding, the pricing is excellent, his reliability is the best, his trustworthiness impeccable. Working with Dan has been a pleasure throughout the years, and I look forward to more. The total above is the total amount I've spent with Dan in terms of dollars over a 10 year period, and the date of service isn't really accurate as it has been over a period of ten years with just the most recent being in June

Description of Work: He put a laminate flooring in one of our bedrooms

Description of Work: electrical work (adding more electrical output throughout the house), outdoor lighting, garage door fixed, bathroom remodeling (tiling, plumbing, electrical), painting (approximate cost is of the last job - 4 bathroom remodels).

Description of Work: Had ceiling removed and replaced in my rec. room, three can lights installed, new ceiling fan, replaced some paneling in one small area, had ceramic tile installed by door. Painted new ceiling, had all wood trim installed including crown molding.

Description of Work: Dan and his partner replaced a drop ceiling in our basement with drywall, redid the lighting in the basement and crawlspace, replaced some heating duct work, fixed some joists, built stairs for the crawlspace, repaired some wall damage, and primed and painted.

Description of Work: They did electrical work, plastering, and doors. They did a full remodeling job on the lower level of my home.

Description of Work: Basement remodeling project. Spray painted ceiling (10 gals of paint) and installed 5 light fixtures and two new electrical outlets. Relocated pool table and light above pool table with its own switch. Installed electric fireplace with its own 15A circuit. Installed new flooring. Sectioned off basement by building a wall with entry door to work room so that it was separate from rec room.

Caulked and painted outside a two story picture window. Repaired and replaced a hinge on a bathroom cabinet. Job 2: Assembled bar in rec room.($100.)
