LEWIS CUSTOM HARDWOOD FLOORING INC

Description of Work: Lewis came to my home in New Lenox, Il to examine some old hardwood floors & determine if they could be refinished & at what cost. He arrived late, examined the floors & stated he could refinished them, wood putty them, fix a spot that was damaged and polyurethane them to make them look good. A couple of days before he was due to come out he called me up cussing that his previous job was taking longer & could he reschedule. However, the morning he was due out he called my cell phone & left a message that he couldn't remember what he needed for the job. His wife & crew showed up late without the needed materials. He did a very hurried, poor job. The repair sticks out like a sore thumb, the floors are left discolored in rows, many places have no wood putty with cracks & drip marks are left on the stairs. His crew marked up my white stairs & then polyurethaned over their marks!!! He has been called several times & refuses to come look at the job. I paid him cash & plan on legal action.
