Our A/C outdoor unit quit two weeks ago and since we're club members we called Pass One Hour immediately. They said the earliest we could be helped was 2 days from then (for club members!) The tech who showed up was friendly but seemed very exhausted. After checking everything he said it seemed five but there was a leak somewhere and he added freon. We paid for that fix and he said to tell them to dye the system when they came to clean the unit in 3 weeks (since they misunderstood an earlier call and apparently said we refused the spring cleaning which is silly since we pay for it). Provided a confusing description of heat pump problem adding unnecessary repair items for repair estimate of $600.00+. Chose to pay service inspection only, which was $90. Called Voss in M'boro next. They repaired for less than $50.

Everything went well from beginning to end. When the men entered the house they put runners down across our carpet and put booties on over their shoes when they went to other parts of the house. During the duct work cleaning all the garbage in the ducts went into their huge vacuum and not into the air. They found a damaged heat duct and replaced it at no extra charge. During the installation of the new furnace we went one night with no heat but Pass made sure we were warm by providing ceramic heaters. They cleaned up completely after themselves, were very professional and courteous.

User beware. Yes, they are on time, but they are VERY overpriced and pushy. Had an independent guy come out and filled freon for $125, and he said that he freon level was zero, and that was very unlikely to happen without help. He suspected the pass tech left the valve open. Wound up replacing unit anyway with independent guy for $1300. I was extremely dissatisfied with my service from Pass one hour and will NOT recommend them to anyone.

The service man was informative, friendly, and courteous, arriving promptly and answering any questions that I had. He suggested services and maintenance that I might be interested in the future, never pushing anything while advising me what would be beneficial immediately and what could wait for a later time. He always asked for permission to do anything (shut off the power, enter a room) and was professional in every way.

Because they do an annual maintenance, the fee is $160. Then I may $10 for a filter or for a little thing that I may have them do extra to the furnace when they come out. I like everything about them. We call them and make the appointment; they come out when they are supposed to within the time frame. They take their shoes off or cover their shoes, and go in and out. I have no problem with them. Our overall experience with them is excellent.

When I've had problems they've been very responsive and prompt. Mr. Pass, the owner, has called me personally to ask if I needed someone come out immediately for emergency situations - which has been as late as midnight. I said no, but that I needed someone first thing in the morning. They sent someone out and fixed it! Because of my club membership, I get discounted rates and didn't have to pay the emergency fee for this service! They've saved me a number of times. They've always been willing to help me out and fix anything they install. They've also been very responsive and prompt. When you have the club membership they do a spring and fall check including furnace cleaning. When they call they're more than friendly and work with you according to your schedule. They have hours on one weekend a month as well. I've been more than happy with them!

They delivered the service as expected. I would give them an "A" overall. I would definitely use them again in the future if needed.

They were very professional and knowledgable. They were very neat. They put covers over their shoes to make sure they did not track any dirt over the house. They were always early and they even finished the job before the time frame they gave us. When the job was done they followed up with us to make sure everything was still working properly.
