Ground FX Flooring

I’m normally not the type of person to write reviews. Good or bad. But in this case I couldn’t not say anything. We had laminate flooring put in our whole home about 6 or 7 months ago by these guys and spent a good amount of money. We immediately started having issues with locking mechanisms breaking because of a poorly prepared subfloor. Mark, the owner who guarantees his work for a year sent a crew back to fix problem. Which they did and while laying the kitchen floor back down they glued every joint which is not a normal thing to do for laminate flooring. After about a week we still had the same problem with it breaking. Now he refuses to fix it because he found out his crew glued the whole kitchen floor and it will all have to be replaced to get to the problem area. He told us if we had to pursue legal ramifications that was fine which we are in the process of doing as we speak. Do yourself a big favor if you are considering hiring mark from ground Fx flooring to do your floor. DONT!! Save yourself some time and money and one **** of a headache.

Well I'll just go ahead and elaborate for those to know that she simply wasn't done right! The owner Mark approached her in the flooring section of a department store, selling his products! He came to her home and she showed the rooms she would like to have redone and he gave her a look at some sample flooring. All is well and she gets the floor put in...the flooring starts to separate in places and he comes to fix it but in the meantime her water heater bust (no ones fault) her insurance covered the cost to have the floor replaced. Well Mark and his guys said they'd do the floor work again and get back to normal. They put the floor down alright and then later the floor began to buckle and bulge bc it was put down on wet subflooring. Mark wasn't happy about all that but came back to fix it. Well a few weeks down the road her floor is separating again like it was previously before the water heater issue. He blames it on the flooring bc he said it had done this exact same thing to another lady and he would have a guy from the supplier come out and evaluate it so she could get her floor fixed! That guy comes and many months of what seemed like pulling teeth nothing gets done! She's highly unhappy with the flooring the Mark RECOMMENDED (she picked the color) simply because it doesn't stay together. So Mark says well that her floor is coming apart bc she has rolling chairs in her kitchen. Ok maybe so? But maybe Mark should have considered that before HIGHLY RECOMMENDING the flooring of choice! Why would someone pick out a flooring for a kitchen that she she couldn't use her current dinning table and chairs with? I think she spent enough on the flooring to not need to spend money on a new set?! Don't ya think? So over $4,000+ later she still has gaps in all the flooring! That to me does not deserve even one star! Shame on us!? Shame on Mark who took advantage of elderly retired couple who used their hard earned money on flooring that is not pleasing to the eye whatsoever due to the gapping! Mark told the BBB he would make things right for my mother in law and fix the issues. A few weeks later he declined to make things right. So my mother in law now has a very expensive flooring she is highly unhappy with and is just sick she has to replace it after all the time and money spent! He did not work in a timely manner and was highly unprofessional with the response time, as he ignored her requests for months! Absolutely disgusting that someone can take advantage of the retired elderly and their hard earned money!

The installation was well done and completed timely. They kept in touch with me to make sure I was informed of everything that was going on with the installation and ordering process. After the installation, they contacted me to ensure that I was fully satisfied. I am very happy with the quality of work and the quality of the product that I received. I would definitely recommend this company.

It was really smooth. Our carpet was in stock so it was installed within a few days. Mark the owner came out and measured. He and his crew was very professional and curtious. Very Well! A+++

It was great. Mark introduced to each of his contractors. Each of the contractors was helpful during the installation. Previously flooring, carpet had been down for 40 years. Contractors removed and disposed the carpet a section at a time. They kept the entire area clean as they worked. Contractors assisted us in making a decision when they encountered an unexpected problem with one part of the subfloor. Flooring Contractors were organized; we had flooring in five rooms done. They worked so we could still be living in the home. The contractors moved the heavy furniture and placed felt pads under it so the new floor would not be damaged. Each of contractors were efficient, friendly, individuals you would welcome into your home. Ground Fx Flooring coordinated the work so the team to install the new baseboards we here as the flooring team finished up their work. Following the installation of the backsplash, the contractors assisted us in understanding what we could do in the several days after the installation. Mark okayed the contractors to do additional work which I had not anticipated. In addition, Mark did a walk through each of the areas to insure that everything was satisfactorily and to be sure we were satisfied. I will not hesitate to call or recommend Ground Fx Flooring to anyone.

This flooring install went smoother than I could have imagined. The process of picking out the flooring went quickly and I especially liked the fact that they came to my home with samples. It was very refreshing to have the follow-up calls to make sure I was happy with the whole process.

Marks crew delivered the Acacia hardwood flooring out to my home to adjust to the temperature/humidity of the house for a few days. His crew then arrived to install the flooring. The flooring crew were courteous, friendly, & kept the area clean & tidy. There workmanship was of great quality, with attention to details. There were a couple things I wanted changed & they responded quickly coming out on that Saturday to make the corrections to my liking. I was very pleased with the materials, pricing, & installation of my floor & will call Mark for any & all my future flooring needs!!! Also have already been sending my friends to see him for there flooring needs.

We purchased carpeting/padding for multiple rooms in our home - large living room, hallway, 2 extremely large bedrooms, 1 average sized bedroom. Moved all furniture, removed old carpeting/padding and disposed of it, installed new padding/carpeting, vacuumed all rooms, replaced furniture exactly where it was. Very timely and efficient and professional. Excellent customer service, very positive experience, no problem understanding costs and estimates, great pricing, good variety. It's a pleasure walking barefoot on the carpet! Feels wonderful! Mark followed up very quickly with any question or concern.

Everything went very well. Mark and Amy were very patient with me while deciding which floor I wanted. My husband and I installed the flooring ourselves.

They arrived when they said they would and contacted us prior to arrival to confirm the appointment. They explained in detail what would happen so there was no surprises. They were amazing. The men who layed the carpet did a fantastic job and went above and beyond what they had to. They cleaned up after the job was completed. The carpet has exceeded our expectations. I will definitely be using Ground Fx for all of our flooring needs.

Every aspect of my dealings with Ground FX Flooring went very well. The selection of product and pricing were great, and Mark and Amy were always very friendly, knowledgable, accommodating, and professional. Delivery was on time, and both the flooring and backsplash work crews worked neatly and did a great job. Everything looks beautiful and I am very satisfied. Would I use them again? Absolutely! I am currently working with them on a custom made area rug for the dining area.

Mark (owner of Groung FX Flooring) and the installers were great! Fast and friendly! Mark arrived at scheduled time to my door with his mobile showroom. Mark inspected and discussed rooms I was wanting carpet replaced in. I picked out what style and color, from a wide variety of great options. This was so much easier then going to a retailer. I was provided a quote that was calculated right then with me observing the whole process. Any questions I had were answered in a very friendly and professionally way. We then scheduled an installation time and that was it. The whole process took less than an hour! I ended up having to reschedule my install date and they were extremely understanding and nice when I called. When carpet was installed Mark and installers arrived on time at my home and went over everything again that needed done and they got to work right away. I left for work and returned home to doors being locked as they said they would do, old carpet was torn out and disposed of and the new carpet installed with no mess what so ever, they even vacuum new carpet before they leave! My new carpet was absolutely beautiful with not one flaw! Overall the whole experience was great and I couldn't be happier I chose them! I would recommend anyone needing any type of flooring installed to use Ground Fx flooring.
