The company did an excellent job with my bathroom remodeling and with installing a new microwave in my kitchen in a space where a smaller microwave had been.

The project we partnered with Kucera Construction on was a behemoth. We brought our 100+ yr home up to the modern day while keeping the original charm. Refurbished some rooms and floors, gutted and redid others. Several bathrooms were gutted, re-designed and brand new. The scope of this job was enormous. Peter and team could not have been better to work with and the quality of work is impeccable. Simply stated, when we were ready to refinish the outside of the home, there was no question on who we'd hire.

We love our new master bath! Working with Peter during the challenges of COVID and what it did to the supply chain was easy. And the results speak for themselves! He and his team addressed any issues of the construction immediately and swiftly to resolve.

Peter and his team are amazing. Peter offered insightful suggestions, was flexible when the scope of the project changed and set honest expectations along the way. On top of that, the quality and craftmanship was outstanding. Peter and Thomas were thorough and detail oriented. We couldn't be happier with the final product. I highly recommend Kucera Construction and would happily choose them again.

He was quite busy over the summer so the initial contract conversations took some time; once we reached an agreement he and the team were fantastic, on time, professional, and did high quality work. They were able to be flexible with changes to the plan or last minute requests, which we hugely appreciated. Absolutely will work with them again for future remodeling projects!

It was great! Not only did Kucera Construction give high quality work, they worked with me on multiple changes during the project. And even better still came in on time and on budget even with several changes and hiccups with delivery from suppliers (my fault for ordering on my own and not going through Kucera for a few key things that they could have coordinated better). I will definitely call them again for my next project.

It was terrific. I love the results! Peter and his team have such an eye for detail Peter is nice and very easy to work with. My bungalow kitchen and bathroom was completely demolished and redone. He was able to save my original maple floors, and build a nice book shelf in the connecting hall way. I may never leave the house, I love it so much. Can't wait to entertain!

Peter and his team went above and beyond to make sure we are satisfied with the result. From the initial estimate, through the unexpected roadblocks (our fault for not realizing we need a permit, and Peter completed all paperwork quickly so we could proceed) and to the last touches Peter was on top of the things, giving us prompt updates and checking for all things we would totally missed otherwise. We are extremely happy with the end result and won't hesitate to work with Peter and his team on other projects.

Worked with Kucera Construction on a kitchen remodel and couldn't be happier with the job they did. Peter, the owner, came out and listened to what I wanted to have done. Peter is very knowledgeable and explained how he was going to remodel things that other contractors were telling me couldn't be done. He wrote out a very detailed quote of the materials, cost and time! Very few contractors seem to be able to do that these days. Typically, they scribble one number down on a piece of paper. Tom was the one who worked on my kitchen. He is employed by the company, not a subcontractor. He came every day (5 consecutive days) bright and early, and worked the entire day (minus lunch.) He was diligent, detailed and intuitive about the work. When the work was completed, Peter inspected the job and even insisted a few more minor details be corrected without further charge. They were finishing details that I appreciated. I will definitely work with his company again.

The job was done quickly but with care. We're thrilled with how this project turned out. We'll be hiring Kucera Construction for other projects in the near future.

Peter-the owner, was very professional. We had a renovation loan with our bank and Peter was able to meet ALL of the requirements, including the insurance and city requirements. We had to get all the permits from the city ( last minute- our fault) and Peter completed all paperwork quickly and had a architect that was able to come and get everything approved by the city near Christmas time. Peter and his team started on time and were complete 2 days before we moved in! The work was well done and any issues were fixed. Peter was able to communicate well, to be sure that we understood how things would be done and what they would look like. We got our kitchen cabinets from IKEA and Peter added wood to the base attaching them to the floor, adding to our safety.- very well thought out. We did have a few issues with our old house, Peter took care of them before I even knew they happened. The only planned item that we did not get was a bathroom closet, we discussed the plan and near our move in date, Peter sent me texts about measurements. I was not able to make a decision based on numbers without seeing it, so I told him not to complete the closet, as I was concerned I would not get was I was thinking of. Kucera Construction was not the cheapest, but had all the insurance we needed for the bank. And Peter was willing to do all the bank paperwork, and move a kitchen. There was a % from the total for contractor fee also. From what I could tell based on the 4 quotes I got, I think his workers get paid more than most also.

Very well overall. Peter provided a very detailed estimate at the beginning and throughout the process as we modified or added things in the project. He was good at answering all of our questions in a timely manner and got the project done quickly and efficiently. His price was fair and he did his best to address all our concerns as they came up throughout the project.

He came to provide an estimate on installing bathroom tile in two new bathrooms and never sent us an estimate or called.

After coming to my home to conduct an estimate I waited 7 days before following up with Peter and sent him an email on April 21, 12 noon called and left voicemail message for Peter inquiring into the status of owed estimate as well. I received a follow up email informing me that it required 10-days to produce estimate. However, in the same email he informed me that he will be on vacation next week so expect an estimate the following week 9 [this week]. I am sure Peter does great work but I just think it is unreasonably to expect customers to wait two weeks (I could understand 7 days perhaps) for an estimate while I secure estimates from other contractors who respond within 1 week after seeing the job.

Peter and his crew were dependable, hard-working, professional, and accommodating. They worked 6 days a week until the project was finished, and they were always on time. Since we lived in our house during construction, he made sure the house was cleaned up every day. We were able to talk with Peter whenever we needed and he took the time to answer all our questions while giving great advice. The dedication to his work is obvious in his workmanship. The construction in our home is perfect down to the smallest detail; I recommend his company to anyone.

PK Construction was up front and told me that they were busy for the next few months and I said I'd wait. They completed the basement remodel in about four weeks and did a great job. They installed new walls, drywall, flooring, relocated electrical, installed a water heater, installed a dry bar and various other odds and ends. The basement looks great.
