+ 4 moreInitially: The price was good, and some things are great (the floor, the windows and the kitchen). Lots of nickel and dimming ($75 to add an extra electrical outlet). Unimpressed by the furnace (works OK but the blower is very loud, and the upstairs unit seems over-spec'ed). Also, they were bad plumbers - several leaks needed to be fixed, some pipes weren't secured with hangers, etc. I would hire them for non-mechanical projects (paint, drywall, floors, cabinet installation, etc.) and for a bathroom/kitchen remodel which didn't require *any* plumbing changes. Now that it's been a few years I can say for sure that the mechanical work they did (plumbing, electric, and HVAC) were awful.
Description of Work: Replaced boiler with dual zone gas heat and A/C, remodeled kitchen and one bath, added a master bath, replaced 17 windows, installed new wood floor. Looked great initially but after time found out that plumbing wasn't up to code and had to be removed and replaced, electrical had code issues, and the furnace install in the attic was a complete disaster. You get what you pay for.
