+ 3 moreIt was a terrible experience. The initial guy we met from this company (John Singer) seemed great but, our project was 'managed' (very poorly) by Keith Marino. We had a VERY, VERY hard time getting them to get people in to do the work and when they would come they would stay a couple of hours and then leave. After 8 months of trying to get RS to get the project done and the risk of losing withheld money from the insurance company in another 4 months we took over the general contracting. Of course the company blames the insurance company for not approving supplemental money for trades but, we didn't have an OUNCE of trouble with our adjuster (Farmer's Insurance). Anytime we needed a supplement our adjuster approved it...we just think that Restoration Services was taking unrealistic quotes to the insurance company to make extra money or something. We would not recommend this company for any type of general contracting. Their own employees & trades complained about the company to us.
Description of Work: FIRE RESTORATION - General Contracting Post Fire. They were suppose to do all work from interior demolition work, roofing, mold remediation, electrical, drywall, trim, doors, kitchens, bathrooms, painting, etc. however it was like banging your head against a brick wall to get them to do what they were suppose to and after 8 months we took over the general contracting. They ended up doing demo work, roof, insulation, electrical and mold remediation.
