They were very responsive and very neat with their work. They explained everything they were doing very thoroughly and gave lots of different options. There were different materials that I could decide upon. It took two days for the work. I got several estimates and I liked their approach. They had done a minor repair for me previously. They gave me a lot of information and a lot of advice even if I hadn't used them. They matched the price of where I needed to be. I haven't had any problems with the roof.

Fantastic! Ken Sadowski was our contact, and we can't say enough good things about him. Good guy, friendly, and fair. I thought the quote he gave us was very reasonable. His team was also terrific -- they were prompt, courteous, and polite. They cleaned up everything and when they were done, it was like they were never there. Job took about a week (due to inclement weather), and I think they did an outstanding job. Very pleased with everything from initial contacts with Ken to the end product.

Estimate was delivered very quickly after my initial call. Inspection of the roof was thorough. Specific shakes were identified for replacement. Written estimate was detailed and clear. Work was done within one day of my acceptance of the quote. Workmen were proficient and more than willing to show me what they had done. They replaced three additional shakes that were not identified in the original inspection without additional charge.

repair seems to work; I never got a report of what they did, and it's too high up to see the repair.

They were very polite and professional. They understood I needed warning before they arrived so I could lock up my dogs and followed these directions. They were the second lowest bid, I would have hired them if they had been the low bidder.

They have excellent customer service. They called me right back. They were timely with the estimate. They will work around your schedule. When they say they will be there they will be there. They do top notch work with top notch materials. They were excellent. I would recommend them to anyone.

We didn't pick the most expensive or the cheapest shingles but ones in the middle price range, so the work price seemed fair. They were able to quickly schedule a day to do the work right after we called them. The work was delayed a day or two because of the weather but they got the work done very quickly (2 days) and did not leave a single scrap of trash behind. They worked in late fall/early winter when it was already getting cold and icy out. They were also very flexible with the payment schedule, we included fixing the roof as part of our negotiations for buying the house. We paid the down payment and the seller paid the balance upon closing. Local roofing was willing to accept this type of payment schedule. Also they took care of all the permits and everything. Overall it was a positive experience and the roof looks great and doesn't leak. We would recommend using this roofer.

This company was very prompt and they came in right on the estimate that they set. They did a great job and the people that came were very professional and attentive.

I called on a weekend morning after 6"+ inches of rain, expecting to leave a message on a machine to get our name in line during a very busy time. Kevin picked up his mobile phone, and was very gracious. It's nice to know had we had an emergency, they would have been available! We were not, fortunately, an emergency. He said to call the office Monday, and they'd be out. They said to expect them Thursday or Friday (a very busy week!) and they showed on Wednesday. The young man got on the roof twice, in the attic, and inspected the whole roof. He could not find our leak, but didn't charge a dime for his services. He said they could do a "water test" with the garden hose, if I wanted them to pursue it further. He gave me his recommendation of how to fix the leak, and where the likely crack/hole was. I will definitely call them when we need them again.

Company was very responsive. They came out the same day as contacted and provided a detailed bid and supporting documents the following day. They were very professional but the price was $1500 to $2000+ more than other comparable bids. An alternate Angie's List firm was selected.

They were very easy to work with when they were their working. I thought they were very trustworthy. The service was good and they did good answering my questions. A few month later a had a problem with some ice on the roof and I called them and they came out the next day to fix the roof.

Local Roofing, Ken specifically, was absolutely professional and honest from the beginning. We called Local Roofing for a quote on our house after we found water in our house. Our house was up for sale, so it was a time issue and a quality issue. Ken came out, took a significant amount of time to assess the problem, and gave us an honest and fair quote. In addition, we put an offer on a house to purchase. The inspector came back with a problem with the shingles on that house's roof. We called Ken for an honest, independent opinion, and he came out to that house, free of charge, to help us out. We ended up backing out of the deal and Ken ended up saving us almost $10,000 for a new roof on a 9 year old house. Thank you!!!

Had roof damage from a storm. Called them at 7:30 am on Monday. A person not a machine answered. Had an estimate between the door when I got home. The estimator left word on the phone that it was there. The repairs were done Tuesday. Arrived when they said they would. I furnished shingles.

I called and immediately got someone on the phone who was extremely polite and professional. Frank Schmidt then called and left a courtesy message on my phone saying he would be out to inspect my property and give me an estimate. A few days later I got a written quote and contract in the mail explicitly stating the details of the work to be performed. They called a few days later to schedule the job. The company was quick, efficient and professional. I was also very comfortable knowing they got some good feedback from others on Angie's List.

Roofers arrived at 8:30 am. Removed all old shingles and peak vents. installed new ice and water shield as proposed. Replaced pan in valley. Completed re-roofing of all effected areas. Cleaned up area on ground and used magnetic roller to pick up any stray nails. I was very satisfied with the work that was done.

Local was EXCELLENT. They were there on time for the estimate and work. They came when they said they did and there were no delays of any kind. There was great communication and they were easy to work with. I thought they were very professional and offered a fair price.

This company was easy to work with and very friendly. The quality of their work was great. We would definitely recommend this company to everyone.

Frank was prompt upon being called for an estimate. Most roofing companies tend to forget about requests for small jobs during the summer months, but not so in this case. The estimate was reasonable, the contract proposal was sent quickly, and the repair work was completed in the same fashion. I was quite pleased.
