We are very happy with the work performed. Jonathan and his co-worker were responsive, informative and detail oriented. Jonathan was very understanding when we changed our color selection. The work was performed on time and in a clean manner.

Jonathan runs a very professional business. He responded to all my inquiries (either by phone or email) and provided a detailed quote. Jonathan tells you exactly what needs to be done and how they will do it. He's very upfront with you. They had some big jobs pending so he told me right away of scheduling time frames. Jonathan and Josiah showed up right on time and immediately went to work. Prep work was thorough. They removed all switchplates blinds, lowered light fixtures, covered furniture and floors, etc. When they are done everything is put back in place and you can't even tell they had been there except for the beautiful paint job. Their attention to detail is evident in the end result. Ceiling and walls look flawless. I will definitely use them again.

The company was great to work with.Jonathon gave a very thorough quote and explained all the services that would be performed.The job took quite a bit longer than I thought, but I never asked for a time estimate-- and their work is beautiful! In the end, the tradeoff was well worth it!

This was the 2nd time we had used them. They are excellent. Easy to work with on all levels. They are very careful to put down drop cloths everywhere and were careful in moving our furniture around in order to access the walls. The paint job looks great. Highly recommended.

He got back with me the next morning (less than 24 hrs) and came right over. He is so nice. Great follow through. The work is excellent. I would recommend him all the time. You can't even tell that he did a repair.

It went well. They put drop clothes down everywhere and cleaned up everything when finished. Did a good job with the drywall and the mud. Great job with the painting.

Jonathan was very professional, receptive to our comments and quick in replying by phone and email. We had him remove wall paper and paint our stairs, upper hallway and guest room. The quality was great. I am very particular and expect a hired painter to do a pristine job. Jonathan did that and didn't need any touchups. I find many painters need to come back and correct missed areas or don't don't meet my high standards. Jonathan did and I will definitely be using him again.

Jonathan first came over to give us an estimate; he was punctual and professional. I showed him my vision and he walked me through what would need to be done to achieve my vision. He promised a price quote/contract within 3 business days. I received the information that SAME evening!!! His quote was very detailed and professional and left me very comfortable with what was going to be done, how much it would cost and how long it would take. I had also gotten estimates from 2 other painters. Touchstone responded to me first and had the most fair price. We were having lighting put in and Jonathan was very flexible with my non-specific and changing start date. Once we settled on a date, Jonathan made sure to confirm times with me a few days before. His team member showed up at the expected time and worked very h****** the drywall project of our kitchen ceiling. Jonathan was also very flexible with a few a "extra" repairs that I hadn't anticipated with the electrician. The repairs were completed and I felt I was charged a very fair price for the extra work. The job was completed on time and was the price that I was expecting. Jonathan and his team carefully moved our personal items and were sure to cover flooring and furniture. I must admit that both my husband and I were impressed with how they covered ALL of our kitchen cabinets, counter tops, and appliances! There was very little dust (from sanding) present. Jonathan and his team cleaned and vacuumed before they left and even moved furniture back to its original place. I am so pleased with the both the kitchen ceiling and the 18 ft wall!! We have a lot of light that comes in through windows and there is not a line to be seen on our ceiling! I can't wait to have them come back for more projects soon!! I was even able to hear a little bit of their singing talents while they worked! Hire them and you will be pleased!

The whole process went smoothly. Jonathon came over to give me a quote for the work I requested. He spent 2 hours at our home taking notes and pictures so that he could give me a detailed quote. He was very helpful regarding color selection and referring us to a very nice interior decorator. We started the work a few weeks later because they were busy with other jobs. Once the work was started, they came on time and left the home clean at the end of the day. We were happy with their work and would use them again.

We had Touchstone out to paint our family room, kitchen and upstairs foyer after our recent remodel. They were prompt, professional, friendly, responsive and easy to work with. I was particular about having a painter who was neat and didn't get paint on the new wood floors, counters and cabinets, and I was not disapointed. Their painting was meticulous ( just the way I like it) and they were extremely neat throughout the job. I would definatlely use them again.

They came in, moved and covered everything, and took care to do a good job.

We continue to use Jonathan for any painting we have done. I will wait for him versus call any other painter. His prices remain very fair and I truly doubt anyone does the quality of work he does. The photos from Angies list are from our home......that was over a year ago and everything he has done here looks amazing!

Jonathan came out and gave an accurate estimate for the work. He was very specific in terms of the work, the materials and the recommended paint. On the day of the work, he came out with his assistant(painter) and they did the following work. Assisted with the movement of one heavy piece of furniture(I had everything else out) covered all surfaces and taped carefully brought the paint we had selected at Barron Paint shop in Grayslake painted trim and ceiling, did all necessary repairs to surface and prepped cleaned up and left at end of day Next day arrived at 8am and completed all paint work by early afternoon Cleaned up and left with all work completed and room neat- they used vacuum cleaner throughout the process to make sure no dust was left on the ground. Note: we have a pet and they were careful to ensure the doors were not left open while bringing in gear.

Jonathan and his crew were fantastic. Jonathan was responsive to both e-mail and phone contacts and was prompt in arrival and doing the job in the time and manner promised. I received the estimate a few days after he came by to assess the work and we scheduled the work a few days later. Work was top notch and cleanliness and professionalism were beyond any possible expectation I had for a painting contractor. I will definitely hire again to apply finish coats and final touches once I install the trim.

Josh showed up promptly at 7:30am Tuesday and started working on my garage drywall, I came home from lunch at noon and Jonathan was there and they had already installed two new sheets of drywall (one in my garage and one in my utility room) and were sanding/muddying/taping/ repairing a bad drywall job that was done by someone else. Wednesday they both showed up at 7:30am and started sanding and priming the work they had done the day before. I came home from work Wednesday night and they just finished putting the first coat of paint on. Thursday morning they both showed up at 7:30am to put the second coat of paint on the job. They did an excellent job on smoothing rough damaged existing drywall and exposed/failing tape was completely invisible after they were done. They also painted my door and window which turned out beautiful.

They returned my call quickly and came in time to have it finished before I had company coming. Jonathan did a great job matching both the paint and stain. Josiah, his assistant, finished it quickly and perfectly. You can't tell at all the multiple places that needed patching. Thanks!

I found them at the top Angie's List painter in our area on a Sunday night, and since Jonathan was going out of town, he had Josiah start the work the following Wednesday. What impressed us most was the sincere character of Jonathan and Josiah. They are trustworthy individuals with real talent. In three days and a short morning on the fourth day, the work was completed even better than our expectations. Jonathan followed up with a visit as soon as he came back to town.

Will be the only painter I use in the future.

From start to finish this team showed very high degree of professionality. They communicated with us when unforeseen things happened. such as the power outage following the storm that pulled so many trees down along with power lines. And the work they did was beautiful. Every room they painted is just perfect.
