Description of Work: I have been using Northern Air for about 15 years on and off. I believe one of the employees bought out the owners a while back. I don't know the details exactly, but I have used them a couple of times in the past few years for service calls. I would not recommend them at this time. The lady that made the appointment, told us they would be calling to let us know what time they would be coming, but the guys just showed up. No one notified us they were coming. This happened 2 times in a row. The work was average and expensive. They wanted $100 to replace an on/off switch to an a/c unit which I had bought at Home Depot for $15. Last time we had them out for an estimate to replace the entire HVAC unit. It was about a $8,500 job. The owner sent out some repair guy that didn't have many answers to my questions. After all this, I would not use them in the future. The original owner was much better.

Description of Work: Most recently, they did a winter maintenance check in late fall of 2013. We have used them for years with no problems. They know our units since they have been doing it for years and their schedule works with us. The cost of service is about $99/visit.

+ -1 moreTechnician checked all the system dampers. He was able to determine the system only made noise at certain times and running cycles. We determined the gas meter was malfunctioning and the wheels squeaked. We ended up calling the gas company for a new meter. I have used Northern for 6 years. They are very professional and punctual.
Description of Work: Constant clicking or chirping sound when furnace was running.
