Because we had noticed the leak happening in late October, Steve was able to come out and give my roof and siding a visual inspection from the ground, since the roof was still wet from recent rain. Due to fall rains and winter snow, he was not able to do a closer rooftop inspection until winter was over. As spring came, I called to schedule an appointment, but for 6-7 weeks in a row, with the unpredictable weather, every week he was scheduled to come out, it rained, so it kept getting pushed back. After 3 or 4 attempts, I suggested to someone who did the scheduling that other people who called months after I had were probably getting their roofs inspected or repaired before I was and suggested that if they could just get him out there without me having to schedule it so he could just come by when it was dry, and they said they wouldn't do that. Didn't matter my house had been leaking into my living room for months and had to do the temporary repair myself while my living room was still full of buckets and towels for nearly 6 months. Finally, Steve was able to come out and get up to the roof. Steve is a very nice guy, extremely knowledgeable and upfront. However, after I got the quote as promised via email, I had a few questions about the quote, so I emailed Steve back. Since I had sent him information in the past about my specific roof and siding in the past, I know I had the right email. I waited several days but no one responded to my email. I still had some follow up questions and wasn't sure what I was supposed to do next since there wasn't anywhere for me to sign (that was one of the questions). I followed up with the office a few days later, and was told that she gave Steve my questions. I didn't hear back after another two days, so I called again. I left at least two messages and finally called a week and a half later and was told I had to come in between 8:30 and 4pm to sign a contract. This was never provided in the email, nor could I take time off work to go sign a contract. To this day, Steve never called back. Every time I called throughout the 6 months I was working with them, it was extremely difficult to get through to a real person. I have no idea why they would suddenly go "dark" and not respond at all? My final contact was an email back to them asking why they have not responded. NO response.
Description of Work: Prior roofing and siding installation by another company was done improperly and was leaking water into my chimney and into my living room. I called AHI because a different company I called to have look at it and fix "pin-pointed" the wrong problem and installed new skylights, which were not the problem.
