THE CABINET & COUNTERTOP GUY

Awesome! I had two newly built bathrooms outfitted with full-length frosted glass doors. I liked the look. But when I considered ordering two new pre-hung doors, I started contemplating all of the framing and trim work and staining...as well as new fixtures and carpentry time...that would be a part of the rehab project. Chris was able to take the existing doors and replace the center panels with double-thick safety glass. Same doors, same fixtures and trim, already sized and stained...saving numerous hours and dollars! They look great! Also, Chris is professional, quick, courteous, and thorough.

Initially the work was performed with no problem. He was a little higher but we liked his presentation. Upon completion everything looked good. Then the counter began to ripple. When he originally came out he said he would replace it but it would take a few months because he was busy. After not hearing from him for a few months, we contacted him and he said he needed to talk with the counter company. He called back to say well he would replace it but we would have to pay for intstallation. When we brought up that he had said he would replace it originally he said he never said anything about installing it. Then a few months later he called back and said he would not replace it at all since now it had been over 5 years. No where on his contract or bill of sale does it state the warrrenty is only good for 5 years. He then sent a $200 check to supposedly cover the cost. I did not cash the check because in no way does that cover the cost of the rippled counter. When I tried to discuss with him he became belligerent and began yelling.

It worked out well. Their price was a little high but other than that, everything was okay. They didn't the do work right away and I really had to call them a couple of times but generally speaking, they did the work and everything was satisfactory.

This was a great experience from start to finish. Immediately after purchasing this coupon, I received a telephone call to set up an appointment. Within a week, Chris was at my house, reviewing my requests and offering perspective and advice based on his extensive experience as a master cabinet maker. He is very professional, prompt, and listened to my issues completely before providing any feedback. He is very knowledgable and I hadno doubt that the cabinets would turn out great. Work completed: 1) Extend to slide out drawers and reface the drawers with stain that matches existing cabinetry. Excellent job resizing these drawers to fit the new wine fridge! He even resized the tiny drawer above the wine fridge, managing to save enough room for the highly innovative rabbit cosk screw that i love so much. 2) Reshape an existing cabinet, replacing the former 90-degree cut away at the window with a slant cut away to match the other side of a 12-foot long cabinet. New granite countertyops can now be ordered, with a shape that is symmetrical. Before, one end of the countertop had a gentle slant towards the wall at the end while the other end had a 90-degree cut away to accomodate for the window. 3) Add solid wood shelving in a pots and pan cabinet. Sounds easy, but thanks to awkwardly positioned gas line, electrical cord, and downdraft venting, the shelving had to be carefully cut and positioned. He did an excellent job, measuring and installing carefully so that I still have access to the gas line shut off and the electrical outlet. I am very happy with his work, professionalism, and the cost of this job! Definitely recommend this guy to anyone!!

He did a really good job. He did a really professional job. He is really reasonable. The quality was great. He came out twice.

I hired Chris to make the countertop and cut the holes for the cooktop and sink and he delivered it.Great guy gets job done when he says he will.I would hire Chris again for countertop or cabinetwork.Great guy.
