Val was courteous and professional through all steps of the project, from the initial phone call, through the estimate process and then completing the work in a timely and professional manner. He was on time, or let us know if he would be delayed, but came on the days he had promised and completed the work in a day with another hour or so the second day.
Description of Work: Removed old garage door opening including the header and rebuilt the opening to make it ready for a new garage door. this is a 60+ year old frame garage. He installed a new header and completed outside trim for a finished look. He also removed some rotted studs and replaced and patched the area to look like new. He also replaced the side service door and reframed it as well as stabilized the foundation where he installed it. Everything now closes securely and works like new.

Val offered a reasonable and fair price, which is why he got the rough framing subcontract. The project has been going for him since October 2012 to present. Val is professional and has been very patient with several significant project conditions required by the construction manager for the project.

Description of Work: I needed to build a ramp for my elderly 92 lb blind dog to get in and out of the house to our raised first floor. The only place to put it was up to our side porch which was a very tight squeeze. Val designed and built a wonderful, safe ramp with railings so my dog can go up and down by himself. He left the stairs intact so we can remove the ramp at a later date if we want. The quality of the work is excellent, was performed on time, and far exceeded my expectations. Val's invoice even came in under his original estimate. Who does that any more? Great service, I won't hesitate to hire him again.
