+ 1 moreHe striped the roof and started all over again to put in a new roof. He is incredibly honest and I have recommended him to 4 people. He is very professional. He does not tell what you don't need and his workmen clean up after them very well. He comes two or three time to check his workmen when they are working. We are considering him to use him for siding next year.

Description of Work: Did excellent job on flat roof leak.WE HAD PROBLEMS SINCE GARAGE ADDED IN1982. SEVERAL CONTRACTORS, MANY THOUSANDS DOLLARS SPENT, BUT NOT CORRECTED UNTIL TL CORRECTED IT. It dod not leak except one spot within a year, and TL came out as promised, and has not leaked since.. We now have a leak on our home, which has a slate peaked roof. We did get a proposal from TL, but feel too high., so we are getting other proposals. I do feel this is not their field of expertise, and they need to call on fellow roofers w/experience in peaked, slate roof, which may explain high estimate. I would definitely hire them again for flat roof needs.

+ -1 moreTL Construction has always rendered services under warranty. Once, when our roof leaked they sent the workers to rectify it immediately. The last time they changed the way water drained off our roof. They did an excellent job, but, didn’t charge us for the job. They always follow up and ensure everything is fine, if not, fix it immediately. I will definitely use their services in future.
Description of Work: I used the services of TL Construction for repair works of the roof under warranty. The last time they did work for me was in spring 2009.

+ -1 moreWe have a mansard roof that had been leaking around all the front upper windows and one back window. They tore off the old roof and replaced it and tore off all the window pans and replaced them with copper pans. Project went great. The crew was there for 51/2 days, worked really hard and did a great job. They cleaned up very well. Their price was 20% cheaper than the other quote I received and they even charged me less than they quoted due to the materials costing a little less than the estimate. Paul called me a couple of weeks after the job was done to make sure I was satisfied. Overall, they were fantastic and I would highly recommend them. Paul was also great about answering all my questions.

+ -1 moreThey did an excellent job on the roof and the clean up. In the following winter one of the flat roof sections leaked and they responded promptly to our call, fixing the leak.
Description of Work: Work was done summer 2005. House was built around 1928 and has both slanted and flat roofs, one of which has had a leaking problem over the years. TL Construction completed all the work as proposed. They replaced rotten rafters and installed plywood over them, reinstalled existing gutters, installed ice and watershield, installed 30 year shingles, added vents where possible, reflashed and sealed the chimney, lower roof, porch and dormers, replaced the skylight. On the flat roof portions, they replaced rotted wood, removed parapet (replacing it after the roof was finished), installed fiberboard, ISO insulation, 33lb. base sheet, Firestone APP 160 smooth black modified bitumen, aluminum non-fibered roof coating, flashing, improved ventilation and drainage.

+ -1 moreNOT OUTSTANDING ALTHOUGH THE WORK APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN DONE WELL. I HAVE NEVER HAD TO CHASE DOWN A COMPANY LIKE THIS. REQUEST TO CONFIRM RECEIPT OF FAX AUTHORIZING WORK WENT UNANSWERED, I HAD TO CALL TO GET A DAY SCHEDULED, COLOR SAMPLES - BUT HEY, THE BILL CAME REALLY FAST. PAUL EXPLAINED THAT HE HAD SOME ILLNESS IN HIS STAFF AND HE WAS MANAGING THE VOLUME OF WORK BY HAVING THE CLIENT BE THE DRIVER - OK, BUT COULD HAVE BEEN HANDLED DIFFERENTLY WITH ONE PHONE CALL. IN THE END THE WORK APPEARS FINE, BUT THE EXPERIENCE WAS CERTAINLY NOT ONE THAT SOMEONE WITH A BUSY SCHEDULE NEEDED. THAT BEING SAID, I'D GIVE THEM A SECOND CHANCE, BUT THE FIRST TIME A PHONE CALL WASN'T RETURNED OR FOLLOW UP NOT MADE, I'D DROP THEM.
