Description of Work: Replaced all windows in house upper and lower. Went well completed install in two days, staining and sealing the next week in 3 days.

Description of Work: Renewal by Andersen came out and discussed in detail our windows and how to upgrade them. We agreed to Phase 1 of replacing our 2nd floor windows. A week later they came out and measured the windows and told us it would be about 10-12 weeks before the windows arrived. 3 weeks later we got a call to schedule our install about 6 weeks ahead of schedule. In one day they replaced our rotten old windows with brand new super energy efficient windows. They are certainly not the cheapest window replacements, but the quality is first rate. The installers were courteous and helpful, explaining how they were going to install the windows.

Description of Work: Installed five new windows on second floor. Work went well and summer heat buildup on second floor now much less because of glass technology of the windows.

Description of Work: I had a picture window replaced because of wood rot in the frame. The extent of the wood rot was not found in the initial visit so the picture window would not fit in the frame. The manager stopped by the next day and determined the wood rot was greater than initially thought and that I would need a new frame as well. The frame and window were installed the week at no additional cost to me.The frame will also be painted at no additional cost.

Description of Work: Rep was nice but did not have answers to several questions and could not price all the windows and doors in my home. said he would need to go back to office to work up prices for a couple items. It's been a week and I haven't heard from him. One of their competitors will get my business and referrals. I just expected so much better service from a big named company. And on top of that they were very expensive. I would have paid for the quality if I'd heard back from them. In the end they are geared to a one visit close. If they don't sell you on that first visit I think they just blow you off.

Description of Work: Replaced windows. Did a great job especially considering it was the middle of winter!

Description of Work: Replaced all windows, including front picture window, and sliding glass door (custom 8' slider) with energy efficient windows. Finished all trim outside with aluminum cladding. Finished with all inside wood moldings and painted or stained moldings around all installed windows & sliding glass door. All installation (including all outside cladding) was completed in one day for 12 openings (1 picture window, 1 sliding glass door, 10 various size regular windows over two floors). The painting & staining was completed in one day about a week after installation. All indoor surfaces in work areas were covered with plastic and everything was cleaned up afterword. Window operation and maintenance was explained in detail after installation. Two days were scheduled for installation but only one was needed. Everything went well.

Description of Work: I had all 8 of my windows and my patio door replaced. The installers moved any furniture that need to be moved, covered all the furniture and the carpeting. They were very professional and answered any questions I had and cleaned up fairly well before they left. One installer had to return the next day to finish up, and was in and out within an hour. I have since saved a quite a bit on energy costs this very cold winter and I really notice a difference in the house. I actually have to turn the heat down on the some of the coldest days.

Description of Work: Replaced five windows on a very old house. They were every thing I said above plus more. They were on time, they explained what they were doing,and they cleaned up every thing. If I needed any more windows or doors, they would be the ones that I would call. I recommend them highly.

Description of Work: I had six windows replaced, two in each of two bedrooms and two in the kitchen. From presentation to completion of my project, all was professional. Safeguards were in place to keep airborne dust to a bare minimum and cleanup was superb. Ultimate respect was shown by all for the special needs of my elderly mother. The final presentation upon the job completion was an explanation on how to tilt-in upper and lower windows as well as removal of the screens for easy cleaning. A tutorial book was left for future reference. Within a few hours I had new windows and no more drafts. The painter returned to varnish the oak frames within a week. Beautiful!

Description of Work: They replaced all but two of our upstairs windows. Each window counted as two so although they replaced space for x amount of windows it was actually 2x. They seem to be good windows and they are definitely better than the old windows. Our house is definitely cooler on the 2nd floor in the summer and warmer in the winter. Unfortunately, the cost of the windows is staggering. I would like to do all of the windows in the rest of the house, but the cost... The company does great work. I remember that they came to the house when they were expected and they laid plastic runners throughout the house where they would be walking. They cleaned the mess and did a very professional job. So far, the windows are great - I just have to come up with some more money to finish off the job.

Description of Work: They were pretty good - even came out when we had a small issue no questions and got it taken care of. We will be using them again to replace some of our older windows.
