When initiating the actual construction, Peter was was totally transparent on everything. This made us feel very comfortable with the process and we have never been surprised by a hidden cost, up charge or anything. Additionally, he makes insightful opinions and recommendations about decisions to be made. We always felt fully informed and truly felt like we got the most for our money spent. We recently finished a major overhaul of our kitchen and mudroom with PKPG Companies and we couldn’t be happier with the results. We decided to go with PKPG Companies after admiring their work in many local new construction homes. The quality and craftsmanship was evident to us in these homes as it now is in ours. Having never taken on a home renovation before, we were unsure what to expect. It seems everyone has a horror story to share. However, PKPG Companies ran the project flawlessly from beginning to end. Peter came in to evaluate initially and gave us wonderful ideas, made a clear plan and, most importantly, a clear estimate. I want to say how happy I was throughout the process that the budget is clearly broken down and it is easy to see where each dollar is being spent. The crew worked diligently to finish our project (ahead of schedule!) and I found them always willing to answer questions and working carefully and cleanly to protect the areas of our home not under construction. As I assume is common with the remodel of any older home, a few issues did arise. Peter, Daniel and the PKPG crew easily handled these issues and professionally solved any problems before we even knew they existed. The finished product was better than I could imagine. We not only have our dream kitchen, but PKPG added thoughtful touches that I would have never thought of to give the kitchen a custom, high end look.
