This job is just getting started. I will report on it when it gets finished in about 4 weeks.

The back porch on our home was very small and it could not accommodate our growing family any longer. We had a double deck, or two story deck with columns supporting the upper deck in four locations. We wanted the lower deck extended out 8-10 feet and we wanted it to be as open as possible. In order to do that one support beam had to be moved and one had to be removed and replaced with a steel support girder. We had several estimators come out to our house to give us their ideas and costs. Marshall Dennison was the only one who approached the project cheerfully and creatively. He came up with an excellent design, went to bat for us with the city to get all of the necessary permits, and he had his talented, respectful, and neat crew working on time everyday for the 5 days it took to complete the job. We are extrememly happy with the results. The beautiful deck not only enhances our home, it gave us "another room" as this outdoor living space was the hit of our summer!

Marshall was very helpful about looking at alternatives and enhancements. I felt very comfortable asking his opinoin. He does his research. In several cases, something new was added or a design changed at my request as the job progressed. He does not physically do the labor - he's usually out buying and delivering needed supplies - but if I needed his presence, it only took a phone call or text message and he'd be right over. He has a foreman and the crew were very professional and very accommodating of any small requests that I had. If I spotted a problem area, it got taken care of in a timely manner. I asked that they try to get the work done in 2 weeks as I had guests coming into town and would like to entertain on the deck and it was - with the exception of some lighting which was on back order. While I made it a point to be up at 7 when the crew arrived and provide them with coffee, I never felt as though I had to be at home supervising. If Marshall needed me to make a decision or to check something, he called my cell and I would come home from my errands and have a look. Indeed, I left the doors unlocked so they could use the bath room. They were very trust worthy. Now that the job is done, I have Marshall attending to several other home maintenance issues.

Marshall quickly gave me a quote and began on the work within days of my acceptance. His crew was meticulous and Marshall checked up his workers and called me to make sure all was going well. The work was completed on time and Marshall was very responsive and easy to work with. The tiles matched perfectly as did the paint on the flashing. The garage drywall looks like new.

He listened very carefully. He gave us a choice of designs that matched what we asked for and a more creative design that we chose. His workers were on time and worked hard. He followed through afterwards with the details. I really would recommend him.

Marshall listened to are needs and came back with 2 designs with in our budget. The workmen were professional and courteous and put up with my questions.. Marshall was there every day to explain what is going on and is flexible to modifications. Over all the experience went very well and I would use them for other projects.

They were neat and on top of things, and did exactly as promised. They got the work done in a timely manner and cleaned up very well after the job was one. They did a great job and the deck looks great. I give them high ratings on all counts and will definitely use their services in the future if required.

We enjoyed working with Marshall Dennison, and were very happy with his work. His price was reasonable among the quotes we received. Marshall helped us design the deck. His people were hard working and friendly. They went beyond what was required to make our deck as nice as possible. Marshall was there supervising the work almost all of the time. Though we were quite uncertain about when we could start the deck due to the delays in our re-roofing, Marshall did his best to start working on our deck within 2 weeks of notice and completed the job in one day. The best part of working with Marshall is that he communicated very well. He took time to explain how he intended to build the deck. He made sure that we were happy each step along the way. He always answered his phone, or called back quickly. He always kept his promises. It was a pleasure working with Marshall and we recommend him with confidence.

It went very well. They did a beautiful job, in a timely manner, and even fixed a couple things that needed it. They were neat and tidy, and cleaned up completely when done. And the price was very fair. Guys were very friendly, especially Marshall, the owner, who actually participated in some of the work.

Phone M Dennison Construction and spoke with Marshall. Told him what needed to be done, and he came out within a couple of days to asset the project. He advised me as to how he would do the project and gave me a quote. I discussed this with my husband and we decided to go with him. We called him and set up a date. He came out as scheduled and did the project promptly and cleaned up afterwards. It was a very good experience working with him.

Overall things went well. Had to call a couple times to make sure the ball kept rolling.

Marshall came to give us an estimate on Saturday. He came exactly at the time he said he would, spent time understanding what we needed and quoted us a very fair price. He came out with his workers on Monday, made sure they knew what needed to be done. He came everyday to check on progress and see if there were any questions or problems. His staff were at our house early, worked the whole day, very professional. They built exactly what we needed in a very timely manner. We were absolutely thrilled with their work, as unfortunately we've had some opposite experiences with other companies we've worked with. I would highly recommend them.

I contacted Dennison Construction shortly before the July 4th holiday in 2007 after I could no longer stand to look at my moldy deck with its paint peeling off. I simply wanted to replace the small deck we had, for the configuration of our back yard doesn't allow for a larger one. I received a quote from one other deck company that seemed way overpriced, and then called Dennison. He met with me right away and offered a reasonable quote for the work, one that was significantly lower in price than the first company's. When we met, I asked him if there was any way he could do the work before the Fourth of July, because we were having a small gathering for the holiday. There were maybe seven working days until that time, and I thought for sure he would say it was not at all possible. Instead, he did everything in his power to get it completed within that short time--and the result was a beautiful new deck that we enjoyed with our guests.

We had originally wanted a fairly simple remodel of an outdated family room. But Dennison made a suggestion to widen an existing doorway that led from the kitchen to the family room, and then close off a doorway from the dining room to the family room. This change ended up making the family room and kitchen area more cohesive, and it made the dining room less of a walkway. It was such a great idea -the flow between the family room and kitchen is seamless. The dining room now looks as it should; we think it was this way before a previous owner added the family room to the house. So we were already happy with how the basic remodeling was going, and this idea really took it to the next level. We are very pleased with how the construction went.

I used Dennison to replace an old deck, and shortly thereafter I hired him to install a short fence that extended from our house to an existing fence that bordered our property. This new extension made our backyard completely fenced in, allowing peace of mind that my two young children wouldn't wander to the front of the house. I originally contacted the company who installed the fence around the parameters of our property for a quote, but their price was more than Dennison's. The work was completed quickly, and when I asked for a small change to the caps of the posts, he changed it within a day or two (and didn't charge me for it).

The construction went very well (although his guys do tend to shout a lot) and when the inspector came and made a few suggestions Marshall's guys came out and fixed them. We are very pleased with the result and look forward to enjoying the summer in our back yard. Thanks Marshall!

When they placed the flooring in my bedroom, they put a nail through one of our pipes that was under our bedroom. I left on vacation and when we came back and turned the water on, it flooded our garage. Now, he refuses to be held responsible or liable for the flood. I am very disappointed. I thought he was more of a stand up guy and now, our floor has water damage.

Marshall Dennison is very nice. He had great ideas on repairing my deck. His team of workers were on time and even worked in the light rain. I thought they did a beautiful job and I highly recommend them. I thought he was reasonably priced.
