Excellent! Dominic called and was able to come one hour earlier which worked out better for me. He did a thorough maintenance check of our A/C system and said the 15 yr old unit was in good condition but if it needed Freon or repairs in the future it would be best to replace it at that time since new units don't use Freon which is now quite expensive - and bad for the planet. The cost listed below is an annual maintenance fee which includes an A/C system maintenance visit in the spring and Heating system maintenance in the fall.

VERY COURTEOUS; REMINDER CALLS; ON TIME

Excellent. Dominick came to do the service again this year. He's been our regular service technician for several years now and always does a great job. He knows where all our thermostats and HVAC units are, so I don't have to lead him around the house -- just let him do the job. We've been using Glenbrook for about 15 years now and their technicians are always on time. Dominick was even 10 minutes early.

Although we could have held off for a little bit we were being proactive in that we didn't want to have an "emergency" situation in the middle of winter for furnace and for that reason we went ahead and installed the new air conditioner. We live in the same neighborhood as the owners of Glenbrook Heating & Air and like to support local small business owners. Additionally, although I like to do my research were not in a situation to "shop around" . My husband is deceased and he is the one who would be handling something like this so I wanted to go with a company that had good reviews and knowing the owners somewhat helped. Although I listed Jill as the person to be commended (no other options on this site and I wasn't going to write 3 reviews) this company definitely works as a team and all should be commended to include Brad and Dominick as I don't know if Nick was involved or not, but I am sure he is just as efficient. From the first call that my son made to GB to the unscheduled spontaneous service call made from Brad with appropriate follow up I was impressed. He provided us with a "Band-Aid" approach but upon further evaluation my son and I determined that it would be of more benefit to just replace the furnace In no way did Brad pressure us to make a decision. He provided us with alternatives based upon our parameters of cost, reliability, and service. A quote was promptly e-mailed and a date for installation was set. Additionally, I was made aware of convenient no-interest financing with a link available from the GB Website. As credit was approved I needed only to sign the contract and we were on our way. Brad and Dominick came to the house took away the old furnace, installed and did whatever they needed to do to ensure the system was up and running. When the weather calmed down they were able to install the air conditioning unit and once again took away the unit. They cleaned up after themselves which in of itself is impressive. Today they will be "testing" the A/C unit to ensure it's working properly. Oh- I almost forgot that my water heater was on borrowed time and I had GB replace that as well. From a "communication" standpoint", I am very impressed. Every e-mail, and text was promptly answered even "after hours". When we needed to speak "live" both Jill and Brad respected my availability at work and we were able to speak when it was mutually convenient. Administratively, all was handled in my opinion from the very start professionally and seamlessly. I am in client service for a brokerage firm and know keeping that balance between the paperwork and "client" interactions is not an easy one. However, the same positive, and courteous attitude has been consistent has not wavered. This in of itself brings value to the organization that they can provide quality work and quality service both on-site and behind the scenes. After the initial contact I didn't even consider getting "bids" elsewhere as I wanted the assurances of good service and quality products. Yes, I am sure I could have found someone maybe less expensive, and on the other hand more expensive. However, the customer service and quality notwithstanding that I know where the owners live :) made it an easy decision. HVAC isn't something that one would regularly purchase, but I would definitely recommend Glenbrook Heating and Air Conditioning to anyone who needs their services.

Glenbrook installed a new furnace and AC in Nov of 2010. They did a wonderful job we have them 2 X a year for furnace & AC check yrs . Reminders all real office made & service reps. All on time, efficient & never leave a mess. Would recommend to anyone.
