Dominic arrived ontime and began to check the outside compressor. He discovered a field mouse nest inside the unit. He cleaned out the compressor and sealed the case to prevent future unwanted lodgers. The A/C compressor checked out fine. I have been using the HVAC services provided by Glenbrook Heating since the 1970s. They have provided consistently professional service and information about the latest products suitable for my home. Over the years we have replaced our furnace, air conditioner, air filter, set-back thermostat and hot water heater (with a new tankless unit)...all from Brad Yurk at Glenbrook Heating. I will continue to use their professional services and HIGHLY recommend them to anyone needing expert HVAC service.

Dominek was prompt, thorough and courteous. He confirmed that the A/C was in good working order. He also advised that the ACs amp usage is near capacity and that our 22 year old AC unit soon needed to be replaced.

They are a family run business. They are great. I have them come twice a year to do inspections. If anything goes wrong I call them and they come out right away to fix the problem. They are very customer friendly service oriented.

I had started smelling something strange in the furnace room and decided to call someone to look at it, as it was already 20 years old. Brad came within a day and said that it was shot and was too dangerous to leave running. Because we were in the middle of a very cold period, he rearranged his schedule so that he could install the replacement the next day, so we only went one night without heating. Brad and Brian worked quickly and efficiently, explained everything clearly, and I thought quoted a fair price for the work. These guys know what they're doing, and it's a family business with a long track record. I shall certainly use them when our AC needs replacing.

As part of the service agreement that we have, they come out once a year to service our two furnaces and then they'll cut out in the spring and service our two air conditioning units. I think the cost is roughly $360. Brad is one of the owners and we ended up buying a furnace from him last year. He was just very down to earth. We got the feeling that he was pretty honest with us and that we were going to get what we needed.

After 2 of the coldest days in Chicago, the exterior duct for my furnace became frozen with ice. Not knowing this at the time, I called Glenbrook and left a message late in the evening. Like clockwork, Brad the owner showed up the next morning eager to help! He thoroughly went through everything, found the problem and solved it. His patience and knowledge were incredibly helpful - best of all, my heater was working within 15 minutes after his visit! I have really struck gold in finding this business in my new neighborhood! Great. Had the best price, was easy to schedule, on time and good quality work. Brad (the owner) was personally involved and met with me twice.

Everything went well. The provider was about 15 mins late, but apologized profusely. He was very knowledgable, and let me know what could be repaired/replaced, and what could wait. Never a hard sell and didn't feel like I had to do anything above and beyond the basic service, but did end up getting a more modern filter for my unit. Also learned that our humidifier was not working (calcification build up), so will be using Glenbrook again to install a better model. I felt the price was very reasonable for the furnace cleaning, inspection and the new filter.

Glenbrook heating is reliable. The service tech arrived on time and called when he was on his way so I leave work and meet him. He put on his indoor booties and went to work immediately. His name was Dominic and he was very professional. The entire cleaning/furnace checkup took about 40 minutes. I have always had a good experience with this company. They are honest and on time. Their rates are reasonable and the quality of work they do is outstanding.

Glenbrook Heating is a small family owned business and they take pride in the work they do. From the call seting up the appointment to the service work they were friendly and professional. Dominick vacuumed and cleaned all the components of the furnace and humidifier. He tested the furnace and checked that it was running efficiently. He answered all my questions in a courteous manner. Dominick said the Company would send me an email reminder next year for the annual tune up. We will gladly have them back. In the long run, it probably saves us money to have Glenbrook Heating do our servicing but more importantly they just do a better job than the others we have had in the past.

I've been dealing with Brad and Glenbrook heating since the 1980's. They are a great company. Knowledgable, professional and fair priced.

Everything was fine with them. They were very helpful with helping us determine which unit would be best for our home. They sized the unit and tweaked the settings to make it work. I knew which unit I wanted and recall their prices being good. Glenbrook has since been taken over by the son so the business has been kept in the family. They’re always on-time, are very nice and take care of everything. They make me aware of anything coming up. The tech is usually the same person, which is nice because he knows my system. What I like is they email me to remind me that it’s time for the tune ups and to sign up again for the annual service agreement. They handle this very well. I have a good working relationship with this company and would recommend their services to others.
