EXPO 2000 LTD

They did a reasonable job but we had trouble with the toilet. They did satisfy us in the end, however. We were not thrilled with the communication.

I needed to have my windows replaced and Expo 2000 was the first quote that I received. The guy who came to the house was very pushy and stayed for over 5 hours. He was selling Thermal Industries windows. I kept on telling him that since he was the first quote, I would not sign a contract with him. His initial quote was ridiculously high, and when I balked, he dropped the price by $5000 but the quote was still very high. He also made some false statements regarding the warranty of the windows. Overall, he was mostly polite but used a high pressure sales pitch, wouldn't take no for an answer and attempted to make me feel guilty because he stayed there for such a long time.

ORDER WAS PLACED 10/28/04 WITH CARMEN USING CATALOGS. 12/30 THE WRONG SCREEN DOOR WAS INSTALLED, WE CALLED OFFICE DURING INSTALL, KATHY SAID SOMEONE WOULD CALL NEXT DAY. NO CALL. WE CALLED OFFICE 1/3/05 TO REPORT: STORM DOOR NOT SELF-STORING WE HAD TOLD CARMEN THIS WAS REQUIRED, STORM & SECURITY DOORS CANNOT BE CLOSED TIGHTLY AT THE SAME TIME, INSTALLATION SCREWS SCRATCHED THROUGH SECURITY DOOR FINISH TO THE STEEL, SARAH SAID A CALL WOULD COME NEXT DAY. NO CALL, SO WE SENT A LETTER. JERRY CALLED ON 1/6 AND SAID; CARMEN NO LONGER WORKS FOR THEM, WE HAD PAID TOO LITTLE, HE DID NOT WANT TO HONOR THE SALE, OUR STORY MADE NO SENSE, WE GOT THE ITEMS MARKED ON ORDER FORM. INSTALLER RE-VISIT WAS SCHEDULED, RESCHEDULED & 2 WEEKS LATER HE REPLACED STORM DOOR LOCK SET, NOW BOTH DOORS CLOSE SECURELY. 2/13 SENT REPORT CARD & LETTER TO GARY KRON EXPLAINING SITUATION, HE CALLED, APOLOGIZED & PROMISED TO REPLACE WITH SELF-STORING STORM DOOR, WITHIN A MONTH THE CORRECT DOOR WAS INSTALLED.

JERRY CALLED ON 1/6 AND SAID; CARMEN NO LONGER WORKS FOR THEM, WE HAD PAID TOO LITTLE, HE DID NOT WANT TO HONOR THE SALE, OUR STORY MADE NO SENSE AND WE GOT THE ITEMS MARKED ON THE ORDER FORM. INSTALLER RE-VISIT WAS SCHEDULED, RESCHEDULED AND 2 WEEKS LATER HE DID REPLACE LOCK SET ON STORM DOOR. WE CAN NOW CLOSE BOTH DOORS SECURELY AND REMOVE THE BROOM HANDLE PROP. WE ALSO RECEIVED A SMALL BOTTLE OF TOUCH UP PAINT
