I originally hired Pawel to come look at a non functioning a/c. He came after hours and spent many hours late into the night trying to diagnose and fix the problem. After multiple tries when it became apparent that there was a fatal problem with the compressor, he recommended installing a new unit. He even came in early the following morning (like 6 am, before he started his other scheduled jobs) to test it one last time before recommending new unit. Once we decided to install new A/C, I also had him look at our 15+ year old furnace and we made the decision to install new furnace as well since he gave me a good bundled discount. Subsequently the installation went very smoothly. He installed the A/C ASAP since we had company coming and it was hot and humid July week. Furnace was installed later. All done very professionally. It's been over 1.5 years now and no problems. I found Pawel to be extremely helpful, honest and articulate. One of my best experiences as a home owner. Would highly recommend American Air Experts!!

Arrived on time, checked and cleaned AC, did a diagnosis on the AC and made sure everything was clean, up and running correctly before he left. Very professional and polite. Signed up for yearly service of HVAC.

We bought a large apartment with two Spacepak style Unico air-conditioning systems. We called Northstar and American Vintage Home to come out to service them and get them working. After looking at the two systems both insisted they couldn't be fixed and needed to be replaced at a cost of $25-30k. Looking for a third opinion I called Pawel at American Air Experts. He was great! Took a look at the systems and quickly found one needed to be charged and the other had a shut off switch that had been tripped. In about 2 hours both systems are working as new. Cost me a few hundred dollars. Can't tell you how happy I am with American Air Experts! Total experts and they operate with honesty and integrity.

Great! We got confirmation and reminder emails about our appointment and our arrival window was 8:00-10:00 a.m. I was very happy that Paul arrived at 8:00! He was polite, put shoe covers on, and was very happy to answer any of my questions. I watched him work and he did (by far!) more than anyone else has ever done during a furnace check. He explained everything along the way. I asked for quotes for other work and Paul emailed them to me shortly after he left our house. This offer for a furnace check and cleaning was a great value!

(Note: I have a boiler, not a furnace). They cleaned and tuned up the boiler, quickly and efficiently. They explained and showed me some areas that will potentially fair in the future and gave me an estimate. They did not pressure me into an upsell. For that, I am very happy.

Fair. Prices were pretty inflated, and stretched work time out.

Paul gave us several options, discussing pros and cons of each. We decided on a model and Paul worked with our schedule to install. He was on time. Did the work promptly. Walked us through what he did and how to operate the new system.

No complaints. Read the fine print, had thought the vent cleaning was going to include the ducts as well, when in fact it's just the vents themselves.

Both units are 10+ years old. The only comment was that I needed a new air filter for one of them. I'm a little suspect that could be the only issue but I hope they are correct.

All went well. He was on time and knowledgeable. This is our second time using Paul, will call him again in the future when necessary.

Two years ago I used it for cleaning, and last year I did have them install a new furnace and a new air conditioner. It went well. I thought he did a professional job, you know, I thought was very analytical in terms of diagnosing. I had no issues before that, so I was satisfied. Fine, he only had one additional person with him, and he did most of the job himself, and I thought he did confidently and with a proper time-frame. They're in another suburb of Chicago. They're in Des Plaines, I think, Illinois. The name is American Air Experts. Nothing is ever cheap, you know, but I guess in terms of the overall market price, I think I would say it was within range. Overall satisfaction.

They were good and very efficient. The whole thing was just fine - A - All good.

Quick and no issues. This is part of a yearly service so the cost is split with the AC maintenance. The only add on was a humidifier filter.

I hired American Air Experts last year to check my A/C and was impressed with the thoroughness of the work performed. I am now using them to maintain my A/C and furnace under a yearly contract. I would recommend them to anyone.
