This was part of an Angie's list deal. 2 hrs work for $99I asked if that would be cover the cost of isolating a circuit for the computer room. He replied that since the wiring may be in the slab floor of the computer room, that it could be quite expensive. We decided that would not work.I asked about an additional outlet to the outside of our attached garage. He said that, based on location, that might be tricky. We opted to go for it any how. He successfully installed an unattractive but functional outlet on the outside of the garage, so the work was done successfully. However, in doing so, he inadvertantly disconnected the outlet to the garage door opener. I am not in-experienced in home wiring and was therefore able to re-connect the outlet, but someone with less experience might have felt "burned".

I had an Angie's List Big Deal coupon that I finally used for 2 hours of service. Al came to my house and took care of a long list of repairs that needed to be done, including replacing a light fixture. He arrived on time, was very professional and also very friendly. He worked carefully and still got an a lot done in the 2 hours that I had purchased. His company has a new customer.

He did a fine job. He fixed what needed to be fixed. He was nice and pleasant.

Bought the "Big Deal" for 2 hrs of electrical service. All went above and beyond by taking our damaged fixtures home to repair and even cleaned it. So it look brand new.

Larry the electrician arrived on time, assessed our list of tasks, prioritized them and started work. He was very informative and explained everything he was doing. He was able to resolve problem and conquer unexpected challenges. He was pleasant, highly skilled and reasonably priced.

The electrician was on time, price was excellent, however was perplexed on where to place the outlet. He settled on inside the cabinet.

He came out early and called before he came. He was very courteous, professional and had a nice personality. He knew what he was talking about. He seems to be honest and did not try to sell me things that I don't need as the previous electrician was trying to do. I thought I was going to have a major work but it turned out to be a small job that needs to be done.

It didn't go and I'm out $99. No return phone call - nothing. Certainly not a positive for Alste Electric and not a very good first experience with Angie's list.

Did all work. Came back next week to re-do the light at no charge.

I called and made an appointment, it was the same guy that was mentioned in the offer that came out. He did a fine job and worked quickly. He cleaned up after himself and if I had anything else to do he told me he could do it and that there was little time left. They were good and making an appointment was a pleasant experience. I got the work done on a special deal. The guy that came out did not read the instructions so he needs to be careful next time though it wasn't a big deal.

I took advantage of the Angie's List Special and bought the two hours service call. Phone arrangements were made very easily. Alan arrived early in the day, and I told him what I wanted done. He quickly went to work and asked my opinions on the various installations. I, in turn, asked for his advice which he offered but did not push. He proceeded to install all the fixtures with no problems whatsoever. I am very happy with his work. I then asked about some landscape lighting that I am thinking about and he gave me suggestions on that also. I will be calling Alste Electric this summer to do more electrical work for me, and I am confident it will be done properly. Thank you, Alste Electric and Angie's List.

Somewhat difficult to connect with via telephone. Lots of "phone-tag". Actual work was great. The price was right, especially since I had purchased one of the Angie's List "Big Deal" coupons.

Friendly, informative person who I felt had my best intests in mind. Cleaned up when some plaster fell. I had to leave early, but texted me when job was done. When I came home all was done to my satisfaction. Would definitely use this business again.

Alste installed a vanity light fixture in a bathroom that we had recently updated. The electrician was right on time and very professional. The job took approximately two hours. Especially since my 3 yo wanted to help with everything! I did request an estimate for additional work at the end of my appointment which I have not yet received.

We were quite happy with the job that Alste Elec did for us. They're a small family company, and both Jerry and his son came out on separate dates to complete the job. They were both very pleasant to work with, punctual, and quite efficient. You may have to wait a little bit if you leave a message for them at their main #, but they'll get back to you within the day. We definitely wouldn't hesitate to use them again!

I purchased the Angie's List Big Deal plus a light timer from Al (he comes prepared). I was very impressed with how knowledgeable he was and how fast he worked. I only had two hours and Al helped me prioritize my electrical projects so that I could get the most done in the time I had purchased. I could not be happier!

I found Alste Electric on Angie's list. Since they were offering a Big Deal coupon, I thought it was a great way to test out this company. My over all experience was excellent. Al called 30 min's before appointment time to let me know he was on his way,.When he arrived he was very courteous and was very respectful in changing his shoes each time he went in and out side. What I really liked about this company, was he had all of his tools inside, ready to go and then let me know the time when the rate clock started. This impressed me about Alste. I have dealt with other electric companies that charged me their travel time on top of the actual work. I am glad I found this company, and I expect to use them in the future.

Called my warranty company on Sunday evening 2/20/11 and they dispatched my problem to Alste. Alste called me on Monday and set an appointment for Wednesday, 2/23. They called on the way to the appointment to let me know when they expected to arrive. They arrived on time and quickly determined that a circuit breaker had not been properly reset by my tenants. Jerry and Maureen were a pleasure to speak and work with and I will use them for my own residence as the need arises. The $60 fee was my pre-arranged fee with the Warranty Company that I use for my rental unit.

It turned out great. I am very pleased with the results. I called him about the repair and when he called me back I told him that I wasn't in a hurry and to just let me know when he would be in my area. When I called a second time to see when he would be coming he squeezed me in to his schedule and finished all of the work in one day. He knew that I wanted it repaired because I was having guests come in town over the weekend. He even made several trips to his supply shop to get the materials needed and the light in the cabinet was working great by the time my guests arrived. We had used him in the past and I would definitely use him again.

They looked at our electrical system for potential upgrade which we were trying to come up with an equipment to support shock free. The estimate they gave me was very reasonable. I looked them up in Angie's list because they had good reviews, but we wanted to go through our insurance company. However, the insurance company did not cover them as they considered being obsolete, that it was not a repair or fixation. The Alste were very friendly, family owned company and they already know us by names just by couple of phone calls. They even took initiative and called me late at night to fix the estimation. They quickly responded and will use them in the future.

They called ahead with an accurate time of arrival. The work was performed in a courteous and friendly manner.

He is a serviceman designated by the Casablanca Fans Company. He was knowledge and knew what he was doing. He also added a remote control which was very convenient for us. The quality of his work was very good and I was very satisfied with his service.
