Job was incomplete and has not lasted a year.

The job entailed keeping squirrels out of my attic. Stan represented his company as experts. The squirrels removed an aluminum panel Royal installed within 20 days and invaded my attic again. That happened last fall. Over the winter I trapped over a dozen squirrels that came in through the opening. This was the very problem that I hired Royal to fix. When Stan agreed to do the job, he said it was too small and got me to agree to let Royal tuckpoint part of the house for twice the amount of the squirrel deal. This they did do, and as far as I can tell, they did it satisfactorily. However, in my attempt to get the squirrel problem fixed, they agreed to come out and make it good. Stan blew off two appointments. George blew off one. Norman did come out and pointed out the gaping hole in their work to me. Norman said he would be back a week later, but did not show. These blown appointments spanned a ten month period starting last October. Today Stan yelled over the phone, "I can't help what the squirrels do!" Quite a change from representing himself as an expert at keeping them out.

I hired Royal Construction and worked with Stan and George on our siding project to install all new siding on our huge three-flat building. I was very pleased with their work and have already recommended them to a friend of mine. Stan and George are both honest and upfront guys and are the type of contractors I hope to have the pleasure of working with on all of my projects. Additionally, their crew (Norm and Bob) were very professional and obviously skilled. Great value for great work. I will absolutely hire them again and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for good and honest work.

They did a good job, cleaned up after themselves. They just showed up, had no idea they were coming. Woke up to the noise. No phone call or knock at the door, when they got here or left.

The crew were extremely polite and very responsible. They were on time, and got the job done earlier than I expected. They had to move some brush from against the garage and offered to dispose of it for me at no charge. The garage looks great! Stan was efficient and helpful in telling me what they saw was needed and how they'd do it and showing me samples of siding. Very, very nice!

Stan with Royal Construction was excellent to work with! We had him and his crew repair cracks in our stucco on our home we recently purchased. The only delay was weather related, which was well outside of Stan's control. Once the Chicago weather gave us a bit of a break, the work was done quickly and beautifully. They even matched the paint color for the repairs perfectly on our home. I would highly recommend Royal Construction for home project needs. Stan was great to work with.

Stan and Bob were great to work with friendly and courteous Bob came and did my gutters although the climate was not that great i was very happy and impressed these are real pros.

I recently needed a contractor to demo some extensive water damage to the storage locker area of our condo building, as well as, demo and rebuild a major portion of the shower stall in the unit I live in. Stan from Royal visited and provided me with a very favorable price. I requested a follow up visit to validate the scope of work and it was determined that the work that was needed in my shower was more than originally estimated. But even with an additional estimate the total cost was very favorable and we hired Royal. They started two days later and by the end of day two most of the demo work was done and rebuild work started. George, the project foreman, Norman, Bob, and Pete were all very skilled at the level of work they performed. And they cleaned up every day before they left. At the end of the job I conducted a walk through with George to confirm all work had been completed as bid. It was 100% as advertised. I would highly recommend hiring Royal Construction if you have a need for a contractor that provides a fair price, does quality work, communicates on a regular basis, and meet the scope of work you signed up for. I will certainly use Royal in the future for other project work.

Took deposit in April for half and than never completed job.

They did a great job and matched some existing siding perfectly. We were slammed last summer, and had trouble finding competent subs for small jobs. Stan and crew helped us out and did a great job.

My experience with Royal Construction could not have been better. The work was completed exactly as promised at a price well below the other bids. I especially appreciated working directly with the owner, Stan. Very professional, very straight-forward.

I had Royal Construction resurface one side of the outside basement wall. At first I was very impressed when he came over to do the estimate. I gave him a deposit and then didn't hear anything from him as far as when he was going to start the work. Granted it was raining a few days but I should have gotten a call from him rather than me having to call. When the work was completed (Tues) he was there the next day (Wed) to get the remainder of his money. That evening when my front landscape lights didn't go on I went to investigate and the timer, which needed to be removed from the wall, was put back on but the wires had not been reattached. I called him and asked to have someone back out to correct it, I've waited over a week and called him a second time but no one has come out. Yes it had rained a couple of days but that shouldn't prevent someone reattaching a couple of wires. I've had more time to look over the work and small cracks are already appearing and the basement sills were full of debris, so they don't cleanup after themselves. There was also cement over portions of the lawn. I was very disappointed because I had such high expectations from the other reviews. His estimate was much lower than the others I got, but I guess you get what you pay for.

I was impressed with Royal Construction from the beginning. The estimate was a few thousand dollars LESS than the other one I received, and the work was excellent. Eddie, the representative sent to do the work, was very cordial and accommodating. After the work was completed, there was excellent clean-up of my property. Within a few days, the company president came by to check on the work. Very impressive!
