Had a great experience with Royal Construction... needed to get my chimney repaired and other tuckpointing work ... owner Stan was a straight shooter and didn’t try to oversell the work. The crew was responsive and easy to work with, despite all the crazy busy times in the midst of COVID-19. They did a great job and were very clean & courteous. Would recommend!

I would recommend Royal Construction for concrete repairs. My job was a basement wall, Carlos did an excellent job very neat no cleanup for me.

Stan and the entire royal construction team were super professional, they completed the siding and tuck pointing on my home with excellent care and in a timely fashion. This company work clean, fast, and gave great pricing for the job. I am very happy with their service and will use them in the future for upgrades and remodeling.

Excellent - Stan called within 10 minutes of my Angie's list search and showed up on the same day to review and quote the project. The timeline was shifted due to weather but Natalia kept me updated at every step. The work crew were excellent, polite, fast and cleaned up everything before leaving. Stan, Natalia and Carlos all did a great job - Highly Recommended.

Stan answered my inquiry quickly. He came to the project and gave me a reasonable estimate on the spot. His crew member, Eddie, arrived two weeks early and finished the job in a day. The tuck pointing looks great. I found Royal Construction to be efficient, fair and fast. I highly recommend them and they will be first in my mind for future projects!

I would not deal with Royal Construction in the future. Stan quoted the job for less than the competitors and insisted he was the best - however, after the contract was signed - turned out that there was more work to be done with replacement of brick and the crown of the fireplace - which was still less than the competitors, but was going to cost $600 more. On the day of installation and tuck pointing - turned out they couldn't use the crown and had to seal and sand the brick - Stan only took off $100. The bricks that were cracked were replaced, but the stained ones were not and it did not appear that tuck pointing was completed down to the flashing, which is what was supposed to be done. Suffice it to say, Stan said he was take $100 off the job - which I only agreed to if his guy came back out and finished the job. We are now two weeks out and zero replies from Stan or his guy that did the work. I would not use Royal again just because he is lower in cost. I would have rather paid a little more and had someone professional do the job right.

They were great from start to finish, fair price and flexible payment plan. The guys were very professional and friendly they did a great job we are totally satisfied with the work.

Very pleased with my experience. I had them do silver coating on my roof. I have done the project before myself, and I know what it costs. They came out quickly to bid and gave me a fair deal.

Stan is a man of his word and someone I can trust to complete any work in the near future. Highly recommend! Stan has great tuckponter workers and my husband and I were very happy with the results of the completion of the tuckpointing done with the chimneys and other sections of our house.

I called Royal construction to work on my chimney and my exhaust furnace. I spoke to Stan the owner And discussed what job needs to be done. His Estimate is reasonable among all the companies that I called. So I Have Royal construction do the job. Natalia and her crew well exceeded my expectation on how the work was done. Royal construction have a star team on their hand. I won't hesitate to use Royal construction for my future renovations.

I've had 2 jobs with Stan, masonary exterior work and then a major basement rental rehab. Stan worked with my budget and I received great bang for my dollar. Any and all issues taken care of. The crew was great, clean and quiet. I found being reasonable and professional gets results. I will use Royal again.

I just bought a house, and I am a first-time homeowner. After submitting my request on home advisor, Stan reached out within hours, and within a few days, he was at my house for our appraisal. Stan said all the right things. He made me feel important because he usually does not take on this small job. He bragged about his reviews and ratings. He was an excellent salesman. He told me that his team would come out, and he does not contract this out. He even gave me a same-day discount. He told me that they would be out within two weeks to get started after stating I have other contractors that cannot begin until the tuckpointing was completed. Stan was not the highest bid, and he was right in the middle for pricing. So I signed the contract on May 7th. I then scheduled all my other contractors to come on after May 21st. After a week went by and I did not hear from Stan I called him on May 15th, and he said there were some delays, and he would have someone out by the weekend. That Friday, May 22nd I called Stan again to confirm, and he said he was giving my number to the contractor that was supposed to be here. Wait? What? A contactor. He told me that he does not contract this out. I did not schedule any other work until May 25th because I wanted extra time just in case. No one showed up over that weekend or gave me a call. I called Stan again. He said this time it was because of the rain he could not make it. He told me he was pissed, and he will call and get on it. I paid about $300 to reschedule the other contractors because Stan did not come through on the time he said. When I called him again, he forgot to give him my number. Finally, a woman from the office called me, and she told me that they have 20 other jobs, and Stan should not have promised me a date. When I explained to her what was going on, she got extremely defensive and said she would try to fit me in. Three problems I had to start Job too small Lied about timing and contacting out If you knew you were overbooked why would take on a job too small I wish I would have read more of the one, two, and three-star reviews. The replies that Royal Construction leaves are not something I would expect. They attack the customers if they complain. On the phone talking to him and reading the reviews, he is never to blame. The customer is, or the contractor is. Stan and Royal Construction are only middlemen. Now whomever he contracted me out to did a fantastic job. The work was phenomenal, and they even helped me out by tying up and removing a few cables that they didn't have to. They did miss an entire section. I wish I were home to inspect the work, but I already had other things I needed to attend to because of the delay and lack of notice. I called Stan weekly, and every time I talked with him, he would say I am entitled to have the job done right, and he would always say that he would see them tomorrow, or Stan said he would call them right away. The first time that I called to say the job was not completed, he dared to ask me to leave a five star review. With the multiple phone calls, Stan would also say that they have called me, and I never answered or called them back, or Stan would be seeing them tomorrow to inspect their work. He never came out to check their work. Believe me when I tell you I answered every call to make sure I never missed it. One day I called him to say do not come back to finish the job I am hiring someone else and I have not written my review yet. He tried to call me back close to 15 times, so I shut off my phone. I hired him at the beginning of May, and they did not finish until the end of August. May, June, July, and almost to August. I was caught off guard because Stan showed up at my door a few hours after I called. He came to say they will be here tomorrow. It took a few days, but they were here. Overall I am pleased with the work. Just the work and ONLY.

Stan and his crew were just great! They did a beautiful siding job on our garage and it looks fantastic. They cleaned up at the end of each day. Overall I'm very happy with the work and at a great price.

Beware this company, the owner subcontracts out the work to the cheapest bidder. The work is substandard, the mirror does not match, sloppy workmanship. The owner lied and said it would dry and match it did not. The owner promised to send another worker to complete the job properly and that Never Happened.

I cannot recommend this place enough! Royal Construction was not only amazing to work with, but the team was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating with all of my questions. Thanks to their expertise, the installing and replacing of the exterior trim around my home (door and windows), looks amazing! We also found them to be extremely competitive and honest with their pricing.

I've hired Royal for a couple of projects. Roofing, masonry. Work was completed in a timely manner. Dealt directly with Stan. They did an exceptional job and the pricing was reasonable. Would definitely hire them for future projects.

I was in a pinch to get a tuck pointing leak fixed before winter and Stan and his crew were the only ones in all of Chicago that were able to do it quickly for a reasonable price. I would recommend.
